Yeah, New Meats = new Fresh Meat. It definitely would have been ever better if they were on [I]Real World[/I], and I loved the casts since [I]Brooklyn[/I].

Just curious, why do you think Gauntlet 2 to be the transition period? I only ask because there were no new RW or RR casts to come in that season. Everyone on that challenge had the opportunity to appear on a challenge prior. It's also, IMO, the last challenge to feature true old school players as well.

I think its because it was the first challenge not to feature the same group (coral, mike, veronica, rachel, tonya) while at the same time, was the last one to truly be all about old school cast mates.

The first season I ever watched was Inferno 2, and I saw the same episode as my first episode. I have loved the Challenge ever since.
Inferno 2 by the way (yes, I don't care what you say) was the best challenge. Ever. Well, Gauntlet 2 and Inferno 2.
If there are only 2 Challenges left, I want a Gauntlet or Inferno with all the not so good competitor who are entertaining as **** and then a Duel with all the strongest competitors.
So is it confirmed that MTV is signed up for only [B]2[/B] more challenges?
or can they be renewed once again?
Are Diem and Johanna retired from the challenges?

Inferno 2 was, in my opinion, the last amazing challenge we had.

Where did this come from?
Thats because Jersey Shore and Teen Mom are taking over MTV.
They should do one challenge a year period. It would make them seem more important and would increase interest since there wont be a new challeng every 4 months.

I think they should do 1 Real World a year and 1 Challenge a year.
They should do The Real World in 30-minute episodes and The Challenge in 1 hour.
If they do them once a year maybe they could bring back Road Rules?

To me The Duel was up there if not the best Challenge ever. And Fresh Meat is coming out alright so far...

I did enjoy the Duel, but it just didn't feel as fun to watch as Inferno 2 and prior seasons. I actually liked the original Fresh Meat season a lot too.
I actually thought:
Gauntlet 2 and Inferno 2: 10s
Fresh Meat: 5
The Duel 1: 8
Inferno 3: 2
Gauntlet 3: 7-8 (because of coral)
Duel 2: actually I think a 6.
The Ruins: 4
Fresh Meat 2: 3-4
My numerical ratings. 10 is best, 1 is worst.
I think BMP should just go ahead and do Duel 3 now, not wait.
Several people have indicated at least some willingness to be on it (mark, darrell, ev, laurel, etc.) I say they should do it while everyone is still "in the game", and then they can just cancel the show after the Duel 3. Because after that, who cares anyway right?
In my opinion, Battle of the Sexes, The Gauntlet and The Inferno are the best challenges. The only other challenge that comes close is The Duel.
The Inferno 2 was very good, but I don't think it can compare to those 4.
Battle of the Seasons was also great and fun to watch because we didn't know what to expect.
For some reason I never liked the Gauntlet 2 and 3 as much. There's just something awkward about those seasons that I can't put my finger on.
I thought the Ruins was a good season. Not the best, but it was a step up from the two prior to it.
I loved the Inferno 3, and I think I'm the only one. It must be because I love Susie and Cara and they owned the show.
I liked Fresh Meat 1 a lot, but number two is just boring.
I was never a fan of the no vote off challenges. Voting off makes it much better.
I thought Battle of the Sexes 2 was good, but it was such a downgrade from the three prior to it.
The Duel 2 was just unexciting.
And the Island was just a disaster. As long as the never have a challenge as bad as the Island I will always be a loyal viewer of the challenge series.
And that is pretty much how I feel about the challenges in a nutshell.
I think it would be really hard to ever have a challenge that could compare with Battle of the Sexes/I1/G1. I feel like every season they change something about the show that just makes it less enjoyable to watch.
