Oh my goodness! I hope next week the girls try to get together and get Russell out! I know Sandra will use the idol at the right time, i just hope Parvati manages to survive because i think she is the next target for Russell. I kind of felt bad for Danielle she was a huge mess. It's obvious she won't vote for Russell if he makes it to the final 2.
This was a great episode. Not only did Candice get her just desserts for the last two weeks. (1st week giving up on immunity and last voting agianst her team) Also could that perhaps be the biggest implosion of a person ever at tribal council? Seriously Russelll should have kept her as after that no one would have voted for her and sent Parvati home instead. Awesome how he pretty much secured if he makes the final that he will get no votes now.

Yea I know. I feel like Russel thinks that the person at the end who deserves to win is the one who played the best game with the best strategy. Boy is he wrong. Honestly if I was on the jury, I would vote for whoever I liked the best lol. As biased as that sounds its true. I mean why would I want to vote for someone who screwed me over. I mean bravo for getting rid of me, doesnt mean im going to vote for you. I can care less about how good you played the game. If you got rid of me, I am not voting for you and I am sure that is how the majority of the jury votes. Sucks that Russel can't see he made this mistake in samoa last time.
Also Danielle was someone who he could have beat in the end. As for the people left the only one I think he could get consistent votes over would be Jerri.

Because Survivor is not supposed to be a popularity contest or a game of scorned players exacting revenge. Unfortunately, it's turned into that, with Samoa being a prime example.
If I were playing the game, I'd take into consideration all of the factors, including my ouster, as how it affected the game. If it was a major turning point, I'd hope to have the humility to look past it and give props where props are due.
I'm pretty sure the majority of the jury doesn't not vote for the person who got rid of them. If that was the case, no one would ever be able to win Survivor because they wouldn't be able to vote for each other.
It's not just that look at Parvati when the 2 tribes merged she made the bold move that got the villans to survive. At least how I have seen it since Coach went home (which Russell didn't want) Parvarti has been in control and with that should garner more votes.
Russell's big problem is that you have to expect a bitter jury. People are gonna vote for who they like the best.
This is true, which is unfortunate. If he didn't make so many empty promises, he could actually stand a chance if he gets to a final.
I understand that people are going to be upset and bitter, especially ones who are fresh out of the game. But I wish it wasn't that way.
I don't understand why Russell wanted Danielle out...I think getting out Rupert would be a better move. It seems like he's just screwing people over because he feels like it, which will not give him jury votes in the end. Also, yay for Sandra with the idol!!
And, one thing, Russell, Danellie?? Really, can you read? Sound it out -_-

I think I do...getting out Danielle takes away Parvati's biggest ally (and someone she was going to take to the final 2). Taking Parvati's biggest ally away guarantees him (at least in his mind) to be the strongest person left in the game and that he can essentially make Parvati do whatever he wants.
He must have not watched her past seasons.
Yeah. I was thinking the same thing when Sandra voted Candice and it spelled out candace. I have never ran into someone whose name was that.
I can understand Candace instead of Candice. But I don't understand Danellie. But I've seen worse...

I was actually thinking that to improve final tribal council they could separate the jury members. I think someone should vote based off what they knew of the game when they were voted out plus what goes down at final tribal. At ponderosa everyone just shares everything and any secret moves (backstabs) you've pulled off are common knowledge. Plus people can be influential at ponderosa (Laura).
I think what holds Russell back from top-tier player is unlikability to the jury. He will probably never win. Look who voted for him in Samoa, Shambo was the only jury member he had good social game with and John an engineer who probably voted with logic over emotion.

This was really not his best move, maybe at the moment he thought it was but it wasn't. The way I saw it was you either go broke and get everyone to vote for Parvati as he can't beat her in the end but he could possibly beat Danielle. 2. Voted out Rupert and kept it cool. Getting rid of Danielle only isolated himself more as well kept his biggest competition for the money Parvati.

I don't think that's a good idea at all...there could be someone that makes huge moves that no one would know about. Then they wouldn't get credit for it.
The whole point of Ponderosa is so that people can share what happened in the game. It's so they get all of the information possible to make a "good" decision that they feel happy with.
Russell thinks he is the king of Survivor... But he SEEMS to be forgetting there is a jury. Has he heard of Karma, because if he does make it to the final 2 or 3 it will bite him in the ***. At least be nice to people... Don't swear on your kids.
I would honestly vote for the person I thought was the lesser of two evils and less of a jerk to me. Most of the jury is going to vote that way too, they always do, hasen't Russell watched the show and learnt from his mistake??? The goal of the show is to win, not to just make it to the end. So far Coach, Danielle and Courtney are all definitely going to vote against Russell and for JT, Candice and Amanda its up in the air, but I think JT will probably vote against him, along with Candice.
Anyway, I love Sandra. hahah I am happy she found the Idol. I also like how she plays the game, or doesn't play the game (depending on how you look at it), which is a strategy that really works for her!
I think Danielle, Rupert, and Candice any 2 out of the 3 would have been Russell's best bet at FTC. I think Colby, Jerri, Parv, and Sandra would all beat him.
Yeah. I was thinking the same thing when Sandra voted Candice and it spelled out candace. I have never ran into someone whose name was that.
That's how Jeff Probst spells her name in the EW blogs!
I was going to say that hahah... He even joked in the blog, he said I think it was the final 10 and he said everyone has a shot of winning, Yes even Candace.
Russel may be one of the bests strategists to ever play this game, but that means nothing when you're a complete moron and lack any common sense. Parvati is arguably just as strategic as Russel, however, she's smart enough to realize that in a game where 95% of your time is spent socializing with your competitors, you might just have to be nice to people.
I think Russel's comment tonight pretty much summarizes how little he knows about the importance of the social game. It goes a little like this: "Rupert, you're a *******." Funny? Absolutely. But the supposed "king" of survivor should be smart enough to know that making personal attacks does absolutely nothing positive for your game. So, people can blame Russel not winning on a "bitter jury", but in the end it's his own lack of "being a good person" that causes him to lose.
I, for one, hope that he does make it to the end so I can see him cry again on finale night when he loses.
I thought this episode was great, rushed of course, but great none the less. Has Colby for one second made it seem like he wants to be there. I think he hates playing this game right now.
Judging from next weeks previews, Russell is getting desperate if he think he can get Colby and Rupert to trust him and align with him - I laughed my *** off when I saw that - especially when Rupert called him out on tonights episode. My gut feeling is Russell doesnt win immunity next week he might be going home - which is what I've been waiting for since the beginning of Samoa!!

So wait, you are saying Colby and Rupert should not trust and betray him so that they can get voted out during the two tribals, after hypothetically Russell goes?
They need him. If they don't get him, they are on the bottom rung and still will not see the final tribal. If they side together, there is at least a 50/50 chance that they can gain control of the tribe. Otherwise, they will be going home 4th and 5th (assuming they just blew him off and helped vote him out.)
They have to have Russell to stay in this game and have a chance to win.
Them actually joining with Russell would be awesome. He probably would do it thinking he will get all these votes but in fact I bet Colby would still win.

honestly I think their best bet is to align with Sandra - I mean wasn't Rupert working with Sandra before Candace jumped ship?? I think she would stick with the guys instead of Parvarti and Jerry - who wanted her gone long ago.
I dont really care I'm just desperate to see Russell get voted off for once!
For those of you who haven't been watching the Ponderosa videos, a little background:
Coach, Courtney and JT started making some jams because it was raining a lot. And now...they have this.
