Me too. I'm surprised that Parisa hasn't done one yet either.
I'm not. Parisa is one of the smart ones.
She probably doesn't want to be entangled in drama again.
She probably doesn't want to be entangled in drama again.
It's not just that. Tons of (reputable) employers nowadays are using Google to hedge out applicants. For example, let's use Paula. Type in "Paula Meronek" into Google, and you get this: Playboy, arrested, real world, eating disorder. Not exactly phrases I would want my employees to have associated with their names.

Parisa and Trish= Real World Sydney They were the best part of that season.
That's a good point and it's a smart one too. No wonder some cast members (not saying any name :P) can't get employed.
I'm surprised Trisha from RW Sydney hasn't shown up on a challenge yet. I would like to see how she would do on one.
I imagine that BMP doesn't really take too kindly to people who have been removed from their original season for violence...
Really they were the best part of the season? From what I watched of the season (saw most of the episodes not all). Issac was the best part of the season, so much the case that the episode that he went home I didn't even watch because without him there it was just the same drama every episode.
I imagine that BMP doesn't really take too kindly to people who have been removed from their original season for violence...
Then how did Abe get invited back to so many challenges?
Then how did Abe get invited back to so many challenges?
That was a long time ago when they were able to place more faith in people and they were less likely to press charges. Then again, I don't know for sure, which is why I said I imagine.
Which was the first to press Beth or Adam? ... I think it was Adam
Nice posting a few pages back, Entropy. I do miss when these shows focused more on the competitions. I also think Landon is one of the better castmembers and I don't care if people want to write him off as "boring". What's boring about Landon? That he's dominated every Challenge he's been on? That's the kind of **** I want to see on these shows...people who show up and don't get mixed up in all the bull****, instead letting their performance speak for itself. I was thrilled to see him come back on Duel 2 after a long absence. He's a great competitor and a nice guy, the Challenge could use a few more of those.
Landon's not boring, he's matured
I would believe that Carley is more athletic than Cara Maria anyday. Carley has proven herself in challenges to be pretty athletic while Cara Maria seemed to be all talk and no walk....
I only said "supposedly" because despite what she claimed was strong upper body strength, she really needed Landon's help up the wall and she couldn't hold on to the logs, and she couldn't pull herself up over a wall. I don't think that overall she's unathletic; I just question her actual upper-body strength. Yes, she lost in the first Exile, but she did say her true weakness was lack of endurance. I just don't think we've seen enough of her to really say whether or not she's athletic.
I would believe that Carley is more athletic than Cara Maria anyday. Carley has proven herself in challenges to be pretty athletic while Cara Maria seemed to be all talk and no walk....
I think it is possible to be athletic in different cases. For example I have played softball, soccer, (I am no Molds13, you amazing national champion;) ) volleyball and basketball, if you throw me into team sports I excel very well. My hubby a football player is pretty athletic as well, but you put him on a softball field and he just looks so awkward. It really depends on where and what people are comfortable with. I do not think thought that by watching these challenges that they are an accurate portrayl of one's athletic abilities. Yes certain people like Noor do stand out because the are just good at everything they do, other's athletic strong points may not even be touched in a mission.
Btw speaking of Landon..does he have a special contract that he will appear at every number 2 challenge?Inferno 2, Gaunlet 2, Duel 2, and Fm 2
Btw speaking of Landon..does he have a special contract that he will appear at every number 2 challenge?Inferno 2, Gaunlet 2, Duel 2, and Fm 2
That's weird! I've never noticed that

We've only seen a lil of Cj tho. But also, its hard for me to believe Danny is that nonathletic. He's probably good at a sport but just not great at challenges
Then how did Abe get invited back to so many challenges?
Besides the reasons molds imagined, I would imagine that perhaps the producers felt some pity for how Abram was treated during his season. I remember Sarah from Campus Crawl used to blog/do show reviews, and she said that a producer talked about Abram getting in a fight, but the guy he beat (Donell) deserved it. The producer also thought Abram was really a great, interesting cast member, too, according to what Sarah wrote.

He was scouted by many colleges for his football prowess, and as we've seen, he has been shown as a middle tier competitor, much like MJ and CJ, as you've said. It just seems to go that way for some reason, lol. Landon on the other hand is a cyclist and climber, and those traits seem to make him "tailor made" for challenges.

He may have cooled down a lot since his younger days but he's still really fun to watch on the challenges. I do want Abram to come back but if his company is doing well, or he is doing well in general then it's understandable if he didn't.
If you haven't seen it, Donell did deserve it as he ragged on Abram the entire season up until the fight getting on Abram's nerves who only lost it once and got sent home.
If you haven't seen it, Donell did deserve it as he ragged on Abram the entire season up until the fight getting on Abram's nerves who only lost it once and got sent home.
I'd say Abram held in his anger for a really long time. Donnell and Cara were horrible to him. Donnell said all these nasty things to Abram but once Abram did it, it wasn't cool.
I'd say Abram held in his anger for a really long time. Donnell and Cara were horrible to him. I came to kind of appreciate him when seeing a different side of him on BOTS2, and there are other things every now and then about him that I find interesting or that I'm impressed by. That house he (and his company) built had me in awe, for example. And though he kind of comes off as a little crazy sometimes on these shows (and needs to learn to control his anger), he has that fearless quality that works well for challenges. You get the feeling he'd do almost anything! I'd say he is one of the most interesting cast members ever from either RR or RW (and FM, of course).
If you haven't seen it, Donell did deserve it as he ragged on Abram the entire season up until the fight getting on Abram's nerves who only lost it once and got sent home.
I was just writing it in a similar way that Sarah wrote it (information told to her by the producer). I did see the fight episode during a marathon years ago (and finally have seen the episodes leading up to it).

He attacked Adam on RR: VR cause when they were arguing, Adam insulted Abram out of nowhere.
Abram was very tame on I3 and the Island. He attacked Adam on RR: VR cause when they were arguing, Adam insulted Abram out of nowhere.
Yeah, I know. But he's been up and down on shows. He was also tame on BOTS2, then he had a moment or two on I2. I know what you're saying - in the most recent shows he did, he was calm, so that might be where his is now, instead of being the type to let his anger get the best of him. I would hope that he wouldn't let his emotions get him so riled up now, and I think perhaps he has matured, but I wouldn't be totally surprised if he was in a situation in which he loses his cool again. I don't think it's his intention to start physical fights on shows, though. Anyway, my point wasn't to harp on his negatives or anything. My main point in that post was to say that though he has his faults, I see good qualities in him and like him overall. He has been a good cast member for these shows overall.
I wished that for one season and only one season they would go back to their original format of RW vs RR and would do something like the Inferno or The Gauntlet 1. It would be so interesting to have your favorite challengers from the good old days to come back. Also I would like to see a RW vs RR vs FR challeng in which their are teams of 12 and if for EX: The Real World wins then the other teams RR and FR would send one of their own to faceoff.
Abram talk...let me chime in here. A total shame that we didn't get to see much of him on The Island, since I think if he had stayed, it would have been a much different and better game. He's been fun to watch on these shows, and although he's not in the top echelon of competitors, he's above average and always goes balls out. I remember on the first Inferno, David (RW: Seattle) said that he didn't want to send Abram into the Inferno and risk facing him because he said something like "Because I think he's a psycho" and thought he would do anything. I liked Abram on his RR season and from what I remember, Cara and Donell were completely immature and rude to him the entire time. I think in one episode Cara called Abram out for having his elbows on the table they were eating on, telling him he had bad manners, and then when he pointed out to Cara that she shouldn't be wearing a hat at the table, Donell jumped in and basically told Abram he was being out of line. Donell constantly chirped at Abram throughout that season for the sole purpose of aggravating him. He deserved to get hit. Dave even said that he was happy that Abram told Donell to **** himself.

Sure he is no CT, Landon or Alton, but I think he's great because he is a team leader. He seems to be good at everything (though not as good as the 3 I listed) and has the strategy and smarts. Even Derrick said he was nervous to go against Abram on The Island. Abram is well respected maybe out of fear, but I think more of because he's a good person while still a bad *** competitor. He beat Kenny, he's beaten Johnny, he's beaten Brad, put in better times then Mike, Darrell, and plenty of other guys. He might not share the throne with the top of the top, but I'd say he's comfortable where he sits.

Like I said though, well above average in competition most of the time, and gives us some great moments. I especially liked in Inferno 2 when annoying Tina was grilling him about alliances, and Abram just snapped and yelled something like, "I DO NOT HAVE AN ALLIANCE WITH MIKE! AND ANYONE THAT THINKS SO CAN GO **** THEMSELVES!!!!" Even after that, Tina wouldn't shut up, so Abe just finally screamed in agony and whipped a glass across the room.
