Damn, I can't buy a hit this week, lol.
Choo got me 46 on the bench last week and -.5 on my roster this week. Youklis couldn't hit a wiffleball slow tossed by my little cousin right about now (she's 6 but does have a bit of a knuckler.)
It has been rough!
I just need to build a bridge back to Rollins in my lineup (two weeks out.) This week is over for me, so "unfairly" I am rooting for all the teams that are playing the other 2-0 teams. :D
Looks like Insider is going to have first to herself (last undefeated team) when Monday's power rankings come out, but it will be close.
I should still have the overall points lead (by a hair.)
Looking forward to next week, and my big trade with the Wolves for Lester. I think he is going to turn it around...
Just for the record, I don't thionk anyone has two very big starters out on their team more or less since the beginning of the season. I have two in Brian Roberts and Jacoby Ellsbury.
Jon Lester someone got lucky. Dave Bush played awful today I actually think he lost 13 points. Gordon Beckham sucks so bad on my team he has been a major disapointment.

This is true, but I feel your pain. Rollins is a monster at a weak position and is irreplaceable (unless you have a guy name Hanley and he has been ice cold this week.)
This stuff goes in cycles. This week, everything went wrong with my team from top to bottom and I was at a 9-6 pitching disadvantage.
My outfielders combined put up 23.5...
As for the trade. Truthfully, I hated parting with Oswalt and I think he will do you well and you get a 2nd/3rd utility in Stewart who is averaging 22+ points a week (with a chance to score more today.)
And next week we face off. :D
Brad Penney was a life saving pick for me. I'm glad I did that. I hope he holds up through the entire season. :)
I really hate that bum...I just do...
But he has treated you well. He is on a great team in probably the weakest division in baseball, so the sky is the limit.
He got his *** handed to him in the AL East (they actually waived him mid season...)
My Team is doing poorly so far. I will be 0-3 after today. Mark Teixeira needs to break out of the slump he has been in the whole season. I picked up Jose Guillen and Barry Zito today. Both of them have done well so far this season, Guillen has 7 homers and Zito is 3-0. Hopefully they will help.
I dropped Zito. He was hot but I don't think it is going to last. Anyway, I've got way too many pitchers these days with potential (surprising being I didn't really draft any, lol.)
Edit: In potential I mean that I won't hit the panic button until at least another month of baseball is played.

Yeah i dont expect Zito to pitch as well as he has the entire season but Cole Hamels is pitching poorly right now so i needed to try something.
I just setup my lineup for next week. Dumped Gordon Beckham, picked Caustillo saw that he was getting sent down and then dumped him in order of a man who has been on a massive hitting streak Chase Headley who is batting .379 for 3b.
You know.. I dropped Z.. and picked up Pelfrey. I thought that would be a great idea. I just noticed he's pitching against Halladay next week. Maybe I should have waited an extra week.

Halladay can't win them all...
That said, you should get a good challenge out of the Yanks.
AZ and I had a rough go of it, so our matchup is all about bragging rights.

He better! He has to make up for the sucky outings I've gotten from Peavy and Lackey now and then.
And Insider nudges her way to the top of the fantasy rankings, but will it last?

It is worth noting that only one other team has had less points against (Wolves) which I guess doesn't hurt! :wink2:

Yeah, it will be interesting to see what happens. The fact of the matter is I'm glad any bad karma I have for now should be evening out over the course of the season, unless someone is out for the rest of it. The season is still young and the Transaction King and I will be waging a weekly war more than once I'm sure. Just know that everything does come in cycles and it ain't over until the umpire at 2B takes a line drive to the head or the rain starts non-stop.
I was really scared yesterday as I had already pretty much won my matchup on friday but on Sunday I was losing points like crazy. (dave Bush had an awesome game) So my points for the week plummetted while still winning which all in all is all I want..... for now.
If you look at the number of transactions carried out by teams, you have done more trades or add/drops than anyone else in the league or the entire league combined!
Just for fun, here is the first roster grid vs. the current roster grid.

It is called the drop, swap and grab.
You drop a player, let him sit on the WW for 3 days while you swap in the player you think will give you a good week and once the lineups lock, you drop the pickup and grab your player back.
My favorite technique!
That and I am quite indecisive with my bottom 5 roster spots. I pick up a guy, then will be reading about another guy that might be a better pick for that slot and I make the move. Three days later after the new player goes 0-12 - I get someone else.
Honestly though, right now the only players I would consider dropping on my roster would be Furcal (who is playing for Rollins) Hughes (because I hate him but he is a two start RP this week) and Hudson.
The rest of my lineup is pretty much locked (AND LOADED BABY!)
Edit: And for the record, I have only made 26 of 69 transactions.
It is 3:45pm Arizona time which is typically 5:45 or 6:45pm EST and the rosters have yet to lock which I find odd since games should have started by now, correct?
