Well they did win the first challenge and only lost the second one because of, what I would call, a fluke little screw up. He's backed up his talk on the playing field so far I would say.
I wouldn't say it's a fluke cause either Laurel couldn't hold on 2 seconds to make sure Kenny was underwater or Kenny couldn't get underwater fast enough. I think that's as much of a mistake as not making sure your partner was securely holding on to the box.

Their strategy of staying close to the surface was a good one, but risky, and they lost because of it. It wasn't a "lame" DQ, that was one of the main rules of the game.
Kenny has the best girl partner from FM, of course he's going to do well every challenge. He is just your average competitor.
Switching gears, does anyone know if Kenny & Sarah are REAL friends outside of the challenge? I mean, I know they both say they are...but part of me wonders if Sarah just thinks they are & Kenny goes along with it because he know she'll do whatever he says on these challenges...
Don't remember who said this, but I heard that they communicate and she met and/or visited his family in NJ.

Kenny likes Sarah a lot. She's spent time with his family.
Wes is better than Kenny, no argument there. Kenny FINALLY proved himself, ONE TIME! WOW! And Laurel did most of the work in the Exile lol.
Wes is better than Kenny, no argument there. Kenny FINALLY proved himself, ONE TIME! WOW! Kenny and Laurel then got 2nd on the 2nd missions where both of them were doing equally good whereas Wes dropped the ball, well the box, and of course since he's so good and can never mess up he blames it on his partner. I don't believe that for one second. If you mess up, just say it. Don't blame it on something else or someone else.
Wes is better than Kenny, no argument there. Kenny FINALLY proved himself, ONE TIME! WOW! But yeah, even if Mandi isn't super great, Wes has got to stop blaming their lack of wins on her. If he's that disappointed, he shouldn't have picked her. TBH, the only people who have any right to complain about their partners are Ev and Landon--they had no choice whatsoever.
Laurel definitely did pull her weight. I think she is the only girl that is doing that. I think she definitely thinks so herself as well. Look what I found! I love that Laurel had to coach Kenny through the exile a bit! It's always the guy pushing the girl to move and usually they aren't nice about it. Kenny and Laurel were motivating each other to win instead of screaming and being mean. It looked like there were times when Kenny wanted to give up but he didn't bc he didn't wanna let Laurel down. It's nice to see great team work again on the challenge.
i gotta agree. Kenny and Laurel are a real TEAM unlike, for ex, Ryan and Theresa (when Theresa didn't want to vote for Wes) or Pete and Jill (when Jill gave up last episode.)

But I do agree Kenny and Laurel complement each other, the only other team in my eyes that does so as well and is serious competition for them is Landon and Carley.

Everyone keeps measuring them like "Laurel was the strong one..." or "Kenny was the weak link..." but I think you said it best. They really showed team work. At times both of them struggled but they both helped each other out.

I said it once and I'll say it again, Kenny is coming off a lot down to earth on this challenge.
I said it once and I'll say it again, Kenny is coming off a lot down to earth on this challenge.
Why do you need to say it again?
I said it once and I'll say it again, Kenny is coming off a lot down to earth on this challenge.
I don't see that. I honestly don't. Nobody who refers to himself as "Mr. Beautiful" is gonna be down to earth.
does anyone know if Kenny's formspring page is real? "he" says it's posted on his fb page, but I'm not his friend & can't see his profile :( Kenny Santucci (KennySantucci) | formspring.me
Haha that is definitely fake, it's not on Kenny's Facebook profile and you can tell from his lifting numbers that he's not the real Kenny because Kenny doesn't bench anywhere close to 425.
Did anyone besides me LOL when Theresa asked Kenny to cuddle with her and Wes and Kenny just kinda rolled his eyes and made a funny face . When Kenny done that I just started laughing. This guy is just funny. What about his "I knew I was coming into this with the odds against me but I like a challenge" quotes ? They're freakin hilarious to me.
I don't see that. I honestly don't. Nobody who refers to himself as "Mr. Beautiful" is gonna be down to earth.
I think what you're missing is that it's a joke. You may not think he's that funny, but the joke is for the people around him. As you'll see in the dailies, they all joke about it. He's not seriously expecting to be treated differently because he's "pretty". The fact that he's always joking and having fun with the majority of the cast, proves that he is down to Earth. He appears to be getting a long well with everyone... even Wes. If Kenny were serious, I would completely agree with you... but he isn't.

I'm not seeing this down to earth guy that everyone else is. And I would forgive the fact that he's not an acutal castmember if they showed more of him being cool and having fun with the cast. And not this little Hypocritical irritant that makes fun of everyone.
This Challenge is just showing one thing about Kenny (who I believe most people on here know I'm not fond of) and that is he seems to be a much cooler person away from Evan. ... He seems more down to earth, more funny, more open, and he is taking the opportunity to prove he can do it without J or E around. It is actually building my respect for him a little, especially the bit where he and Wes wrestled. You could see they were just having fun and Kenny was genuinely concerned afterwards about Wes' eye. This really leads to the idea of Evan being more of a problem than Kenny.

You can't blame Evan for the way Kenny acts around him. And I don't think Kenny acts all that different anyway. I think he;s just getting a better cut this season.
Perhaps ... but consider how he acts when Evan is around to now ... he is carrying it on his own and looking like a better person for it. Not all of that can be editing.
Kenny really looks like a better person, but it's not because of Evan... Think a little bit... Usually he treats the girls really bad, on this challenge that hasn't happened so far... Why? Because of Evan? No... The Fresh Meat stuck around their partners and the alumni that is Kenny's alliance is Sarah, Paula and Jillian (it looks like Jenn and Ryan are double agents)! All females! He needs to change his behavior or every single person would be against him.
If it's not broke, why fix it? Looks like it's working pretty well for him if you ask me.
Yeah... I don´t like him... But in 7 seasons, he only failed one final (Duel1)... What is very impressive! But he only made to one elemination round (on his own) and lost... He is trully good in the social game
