Anyone watching this? Anything adoption-related hits way to close to home, and I'm bawling my eyes out. I feel awful for the girl, but awful for the mom too.
I missed the first 20mins so I didn't know the background or reasons why the mom was pushing so hard for adoption. From what I saw, they could have been a little easier on her but I was definitely bawling too! I'll try and catch the rerun so I can get a better understanding of the dynamics, but I also felt for all parties.
Yeah I found this one a little tough to watch because the girl was basically FORCED to give the baby up for adoption even though she really didn't want to... Yes it was prob for the best... but still hard to watch!

For once in forever, I'm on the guys side.
For once in forever, I'm on the guys side.
I haven't watched this episode yet but it looked crazy with the short relationship and the twins!
For once in forever, I'm on the guys side.
I was saying the same thing while I was watching this. I felt so bad for Corey! She was ridiculous!
I've never been on the guys side until now! She was just so ridiculous!
I've never been on the guys side until now! She was just so ridiculous!
Right? I'm tired of these girls running around saying they want to live like a teenager...***, you have kids!
Exactly! If she didn't want to be with him, thats alright. If she wanted to hang out with her friends sometimes that's alright, but the way she handled it was so ridiculous!
O wow this was truly an emotional episode, I mean she had an awesome caring boyfriend but treated him like straight up bs and liked a his ex who obviously didn't like her. I think what made this episode really good is that at the end of the show she had a big time reality check and showed that getting pregnant is not the best thing ever nor the either the easiest thing, good job MTV :D.
all i know is that Chelsea's episode made me cry! I felt for her when her boyfriend sent her that horrible text. I think that this group of girls except for maybe one of them (which i think MTV is trying to make her look like Farrah) all grew up faster than the first season girls! Macy is my favorite altogether though! she is a very strong woman! =)
Was Chelsey the one who got the text from her boyfriend saying he wanted to sign away the mistake then called her dad? I felt so bad for that girl! I actually thought her boyriend may end up being a good guy, too!
ya that was her =( i know i thought the same thing about him but that was a terrible thing to say!
The episode that came on Tuesday was really good. I hate how Cory went to McDonald's with those two girls for no apparent reason though instead of taking care of his relationship.
ya that was her =( i know i thought the same thing about him but that was a terrible thing to say!
The only good thing about him sending that txt is that he did it when the cameras could catch it and 90% of the girls in his town now know what a ********* he is.

I think he earned the opportunity to spend a night with friends by working two jobs and staying home with the kids multiple times while she went out to games and tried and get back with her ex.
The only good thing about him sending that txt is that he did it when the cameras could catch it and 90% of the girls in his town now know what a ********* he is.
haha I know right! but i will also say that a good percentage of these shows are scripted. this stuff may be happening but sometimes some of the things you know MTV told them to say it or do it. and also Samatha's episode where that friend of hers (when they were talking on their bed) (which i believe was a scripted scene) said that pregnancy isnt preventable.......UHHHH where are her parents!?!?!?!?!?! so im really glad mtv put that disclaimer up!
I just saw the Lori episode and her mom was ******* me off! I thought it was so ****ed up how she was pretty much forcing her to put the baby up for adoption when she obviously didn't want to.
I wanted to reach into the tv and slap the girl who had twins just for acting so stupid. Crying that the father of your children who you didnt like and talked **** about and basically treated like **** is moving on and now its too late... yeah welcome to the real world. Arg stupid 16 year olds.
To be honest, Teen Moms and 16 and Pregnant are a lot better than Real World or Fresh Meat. I'd rather see those shows continue than the Challenges or The Real World...
I hate Teen Mom *barf* high ratings or not, the challenges are way better.
I hate Teen Mom *barf* high ratings or not, the challenges are way better.
Gotta agree with you there. I feel like they're glorifying being a teen mom. Stop it already! It's nothing to be proud of! You had sex and happened to get pregnant...congrats. You're not special, and you're not more mature just because you have a kid.

They are not glorifying teen pregnancy at all, in fact they are showing how difficult it really is.
I don't find that they are glorifying teen pregnancy but I do find to a degree they are exploiting it.
Poor Lizzie. She lost all her dreams. But then again she took back Skylar.
Nah Lizzie I think will be one of the luckier ones. Her dad drives me crazy though! He reminds me of my dad. I'm married and have never been pregnant but gee I hear my dad whenever I watch the episode (my dad had very good advice). She was already pregnant and all he should've done from the point of shooting the episode is be supportive and not lecture her (because she seems like a smart girl...besides getting pregnant...and knows the consequences of her actions). She can still try to fulfill her dreams it just might not happen right outta school! And she was very motherly.

Agreed. I remembered her and Neveah as well but don't recall her having that  bad of a habit.

When I first saw this this morning I immediately thought it was the one from season 1 who went into the military  (the same Black girl who originally had Farrah's  and her fake *** crying) Teen Mom season 1 spot

Rest in peace to her. baby is only seven Sad

Lmao at Dr. Drew spilling his own tea on this special
