Wrestling has so much to do with weight and with Kenny's 20lb (guessing) advantage I'm not surprised if he won. Doesn't mean he's a better challenge competitor or anything though.
No one said anything about Kenny being a better competitor in the past 5/6 posts. You're just bringing that up because you don't like Kenny and like Wes. And wrestling isn't all about weight, look at Kenny wrestling CT. CT is bigger, stronger and weighs more yet doesn't know anything about wrestling, resulting in Kenny out-wrestling him. It's very clear that you don't like FM with your name being "FM die in a fire" but think clearly for a sec, just once, Kenny is clearly a better wrestler, bigger or not, he whooped Wes.

LOL @ people once again making excuses for Wes. Kenny will not win at anything on this forum, even when he does.
...and way more to do with Kenny's wrestling background. Believe me, a 20-pound advantage wouldn't mean anything if the smaller person trained and had a solid background.
HAHAHAHAHA I can't stop laughing. This is so true.
He's so cocky it infuriates me, and he has NOTHING to be cocky about. I still remember on Gauntlet 3 when he was like "Coral your not getting any money" or something like that. And then he got eliminated by ADAM KING. ****** loser.
...and way more to do with Kenny's wrestling background. Believe me, a 20-pound advantage wouldn't mean anything if the smaller person trained and had a solid background.
Exactly, someone like Derrick who is a lot smaller then Kenny, a little smaller then Wes, would have put up a much bigger fight. Both (D and Kenny) are wrestlers. Had it been Wes vs Derrick wrestling like Wes and Kenny were, I think Derrick would have won. Okay, here comes the Wes fanatics coming to jump at my throat about how Wes would kill Derrick.
I don't like Kenny or Wes, if you asked me I would like to see both go home in the next two eps. And if you guys don't think a 20lb weight advantage is a lot then...idk what to tell you. I've wrestled throughout hs and college and I can see your point if we're talking some fat guy like Eric, then yea a weight advantage of his sort is not the same. But Kenny apparently works at it diligently YouTube - Kenny Santucci of MTV's Road Rules Training at Dover Boxing Club so going against someone smaller he's 95% of the time is going to win unless the other kid is a freak of nature or has three arms or something like that. Derrick is a try-hard and is easy to root for cause he comes off as an underdog but the he's going to lose if he goes up against someone 25-30+ pounds heavier and in good shape(Wes/Kenny). People had lower expectations for D cause he was way smaller but that doesn't mean he's as good as someone who didn't perform as well as expected for their size. People judge each other based on size and so when someone sees Derrick they think low of him and he has to fight to prove he CAN compete, while someone bigger has to prove they CAN'T compete.
FM-DIAF, are you telling me a trained wrestler (Derrick) would lose to someone who admitted to having no idea how to wrestle (Wes) because of about 15 or so pounds? And if you want to talk about how size DOES matter so much, look at Derrick vs Syrus in a straight up wrestling match on G2.
I don't like Kenny or Wes, if you asked me I would like to see both go home in the next two eps. And if you guys don't think a 20lb weight advantage is a lot then...idk what to tell you.
Maybe it's because I have to deal with way bigger weight disadvantages (often on the range of 50+ pounds...and I'm a girl training with guys), but it's definitely an advantage to have experience over 20 pounds. I mean, there's no point in that weight when you don't know how to use it effectively.
As for the daily I lol'd at Danny flipping out at the end and at Mandi going "Wes, Wes" ahah

Derrick would beat Wes in a straight up wrestling match probably easier than Kenny did tbh.
So some interesting dailies today. Just got done watching them and all I have to say is that I feel for Katelynn. How long has Ryan known her? A few days? And he feels he has the right to approach her in that way? Why should Katelynn change herself for these people? I could see their point if this was The Real World and they'd be living together for 4 months. But this is a challenge...if someone bothers you, ignore them or vote them off. And after watching The Ruins I DEFINITELY predicted Sarah changing for the worst. I am sure Sarah and Katelynn are fine now. At least I'm hoping so.
Hmm I must say that I was never Katelynn's biggest fan on RW: Brooklyn. It had nothing to with her sexuality or lifestyle but I just felt that she was somewhat self righteous and did in fact, "throw her sexuality in people's faces" like Ryan said. With that being said however, I definitely have sympathy for her as to what was shown in the dailies. First of all, if Ryan had anything to say to her about the way she was presenting herself, he could have pulled her aside and talked to her in private. I think it is exactly like Katelynn said, "a team kenny tactic". Sarah and Ryan are up Kenny's *** and so is most of the house. I actually like Sarah on her season until she got to the Ruins and gained this superiority complex. Ooh well, what goes around comes around. We'll see how far she makes it in this game and how much Kenny can protect her : ).
Though I kind of get what Ryan was saying, who is Ryan to talk about someone throwing one's sexuality in other people's faces? Doesn't he kind of do that himself? Doesn't he always make out or fool around with a lot of people on these shows in front of everybody? And wasn't he always talking about liking Landon on Duel 2? Maybe he's made people uncomfortable as well and doesn't know it? Ryan himself is typically expendable. He just kind of hangs on to the popular FM people "in charge" in order to last as long as he can, but no one seems to be interested in taking him to the end. And just because he wanted to like Katelynn so much, it doesn't mean Katelynn has to like him or hang on to him. I really don't like how they all confronted her. I think Sarah should have spoken to her as a friend, in private. If Ryan felt the need to comment on her as a part of the LGBT community, then I agree with the others who said he should have pulled her aside in private as well. But they are making it a Team Kenny or no team kind of deal here. Ryan comes across kind of funky to me on almost every challenge he does, anyway. He seemed OK on the first FM, but we didn't get to see much of him, anyway. And I get what Sarah is saying about Katelynn playing a "dumb" game by opposing Kenny et al so openly. However, I don't think Katelynn should have to bow down to them like Sarah has. I get that Sarah is friends with them, but that interview in her thread shows that she purposely made sure she was in with them to make it far. I think Katelynn sees how some of them act and don't want to be associated with that, and I don't blame her, nor anyone else who doesn't want to be apart of their groups. I don't know what's going to happen, but I think it could be great if we see Katelynn making deals with people who aren't in the Kenny/Wes loop, or who don't know which side to go for. However, the fact that Katelynn and Sarah have a past history, and Sarah is trying to get Katelynn to work with Kenny and crew, I think it's putting a bigger target on Kate, because that crew seems to be trying to draw her in for Sarah, and with Kate not responding favorably to them, they seem ready to vote her off (well, Ryan at least). I think tonight's episode may be interesting if they expand upon this issue.

Sarah can shove it. She needs to jump out of Kenny's *** now.
Tonight's episode seems to be a good one looking at the dailies. I can't wait!
Vinny sure likes to get naked..lol.
Tonight's episode seems to be a good one looking at the dailies. I can't wait!
I know! I thought with all the hooking up and debauchery going on in the dailies episode two might be uninteresting to me.
Its so sad to see Katelynn and Sarah not getting along :(
When the **** will I learn NOT to read those ignorant comments on the MTV Dailies?! "Katelynn, you are a ROOKY." Remind me why I stayed in school, again? *relax...relate...release...* ETA: Ryan and Katelynn's argument is very, um, interesting. I see where Ryan is coming from, but he's the last person in the world to talk about people throwing around their sexuality because isn't he one of the biggest [sexually classless persons] on these shows? If Ryan wanted a real conversation, he would have taken Katelynn aside like an adult and addressed his issues. Maybe it's me, but that's not something that I would talk about in front of others, and it's foolish of him to think that HE'S doing our community any favors. Katelynn looks to be very, very bright (I'm a nerd and I love my nerds) with a nice job and seems to have great things going for her. Ryan does 80,000 Challenges, is the original fanboy and has a reputation for sluttiness. That said, I'm on team Katelynn. I don't, nor anyone else here, know the full story between Katelynn and Sarah, but Sarah is bugging me more and more as she's coming across very fake, just as Ryan and JD had problems with on Brooklyn. It's amazing to me, and is Keith Olbermann wearing jeans on TV right now? :D (off topic)

The funny thing is, the whole REASON for that argument is that Sarah and Kenny got to talking and they knew the best way to get to me would be to come at me sideways. It's why I loathe Kenny so vehemently; he's nothing but a vile snake and the only way he knows how to truly compete is to think like one.

I agree. It's best not to read those comments. Who cares what they think anyway?
I agree. It's best not to read those comments. Who cares what they think anyway?
Good point. BTW, was Ryan drunk in that clip? O_o
I agree with what most people said. If Ryan wanted to take this up with Katelynn, he should have done it in private, not bring it up in a room full of people, because it definitely drew more attention to the matter. You see I think Sydney sitting nearby and Kenny on the couch behind them, and as the argument progresses, Sarah comes and sits next to Kenny, and Vinny sits down next to Sarah after that, seemingly to see what's going on. Also, in both Katelynn/Ryan clips, Sarah needs to shut up and not jump in arguments that aren't hers. Sarah tells Katelynn that she's playing a "dumb game", and then gets her *** sent home. I would say that aligning with Kenny was a pretty dumb game, huh Sarah?
Kenny is spot on about Danny have zero decision making authority.
Kenny is spot on about Danny have zero decision making authority.
I love how Danny tries to smooth things over. Even though hes team Wes you can clearly tell he doesn't want to be on Kenny's bad side. Danny you are a puppet and don't try to act big and bad because Wes is there.
Danny seems like a good guy but unfortunately his head is not always in the game as much. Hovering in between only works if you have something both parties want.
Danny is just a loser, he hasn't performed anything EVER on any challenge. Please, don't call him back on another challenge.
Kenny is spot on about Danny have zero decision making authority.
I think it was pretty obvious Danny wanted to side with Kenny but didn't want to stab Wes in the back bc they were friends..in retrospect I wonder if he would have done things differently.
I think it was pretty obvious Danny wanted to side with Kenny but didn't want to stab Wes in the back bc they were friends..in retrospect I wonder if he would have done things differently.
Yeah, I definitely think that Danny wasn't really on Wes's level in that Daily. He's stuck between two alliances plus an original castmate. But still, Kenny was spot on. And the sad thing is, I think Danny was the only one who realized what was going to happen once Kenny came back. It's like he was the only one who realized that a war was going to go down. If he had said something or gone against Wes, a lot could have been avoided.
I love how Danny tries to smooth things over. Even though hes team Wes you can clearly tell he doesn't want to be on Kenny's bad side. Danny you are a puppet and don't try to act big and bad because Wes is there.
For real. He went to Kenny like a little baby trying to get on his good side when Kenny made it clear when he confronted him that he doesn't want anything to do with anyone who's in Wes's alliance. And him trying to convince Kenny that Evan would have thrown him in too... please. Evan and Kenny always have each other's backs. They're jerks a lot of the time, but one thing they've always done is protect each other. Johnny, not so much. What Kenny said in the Daily with Jillian was also spot on. For someone who everyone seems to think is an idiot, Kenny seems to be the only one who sees Wes for what he really is. Big Bark. No bite.
