As the head women's soccer coach at the Southwest Baptist University in Missouri, he is called "Coach Wade," but he also goes by “Maestro” due to role as an artistic director and conductor of a California symphony orchestra. A skilled musician, Benjamin was traveling the world playing the trumpet before most kids could even spell "trumpet." Benjamin was asked to wear just one hat, it would be that of "Renaissance Man." Aside from setting the world record for the longest solo kayak expedition on the ocean (an amazing 6,132 miles), Wade has also been attacked by a tiger shark, stalked by a jaguar in the Amazon and has been bitten by a piranha on his right hand. To say that he is a Type A, Alpha male, who likes to control the environment around him may just be an understatement. Coach's dominant personality will be a force to be reckoned with in the game. Coach was definitely a memorable character on Survivor: Tocantins. Coach ended up placing 5th overall, becoming the sixth member of the Jury. Will "The Dragon Slayer" go far on Heroes vs. Villains, or will he be voted off early due to his arrogance?
He is freakin weird.
Can't wait to see him again. I hope he brings more of his entertaining stories this season!

Dragon slayer... Give me a break. Honestly between Coach, Randy, and Russell, I'm not sure who I'm going to dislike the most this season.
Coach's EW writeup: 'Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains': Can anyone take Coach seriously?
Hahahahahaha...this is absolutely hilarious.
I am surprised Coach was "perplexed by the decisions the tribe has made". By writing Courtney's name down 2 weeks ago he did not establish himself in either alliance so neither side could trust him.
I love Coach. I am kinda upset in 18 that Tyson got blindsided, or in 20 that Tyson was an idiot. I would love to see how Coach would of done in the end game of 18 and deep in 20.

The day after with coach showed why exactly he will not ever vote for Russell. Clashing views on the way they view life.
