Definitely reasonable, I read once that for every dangerous sociopath, there are about 30,000 safe ones who mask a normal life. I have a friend who is one, very humorous, lacks empathy, promiscuous, will NEVER take responsibility for anything.
Kenny brings the LOL's, that's for sure. "Sarah you might as well have been the wallpaper around here if it wasn't for us making fun of you." You just can't script genius like that.

Kenny may lack empathy for some, everyone does.. But that doesn't mean he lacks empathy for all.. Nor does he lack the capacity to maintain long term relationships with others. As I've stated before.. He's far from perfect and he's not everyones cup of tea. I completely understand why. I'd be silly to think otherwise.. Some people hate even the worlds most likable personalities. Such is life... If I had to choose a disorder off the top of my head, I'd probably go with narcassicm. But I agree with you Katelyn, there are far more interesting personalities to disect than his. ;)

"You take a kid who was a geek in high school... put them on a reality television show... and all the sudden they think they're the ******* cat's pajamas. Stick to being yourself and stick to reading fantasy novels and dressing up like a ******* wizard and **** on the weekends." Watched a replay of The Ruins finale today, he had the LOL's on overdrive.
The funny part of that last quote is that he is talking about himself. LOL your the one who thinks your the cats pajamas. LOL people wonder he is not liked...if you are good guy in real life like some say...then just be that...what does he get out of being a ****** on television...he would be just as popular if he was nice. I like Kenny but, I don't understand him sometimes.

While I respect his ability to continually perform above average physically, he's a textbook Common Sociopath.

I think sociopath might be a stretch. He's really not that bad.
People that knew Ted Bundy loved him. Even after his sentencing he still had thousands of female fans throwing themselves at him, even though they knew what he was capable of. I'm not sure I remember my point now or if this comment is even an argument for or against the sociopath label. Just something to think about I guess. ;)

Like everyone else on Earth, there are many many sides to him. It's out of line to assume you know every bit of him and how he is in all types of situations based on what you see.
Kenny is Kenny. What you see is what you get. My point is.. It's not ALL you get. It's only one side of him. Like everyone else on Earth, there are many many sides to him. But guess what, everyone is like that. It just seems that people will not accept that fact.
I guess it also depends on whose shoes you're putting yourself in. If you're like me, you see things from the perspective of people like Sarah and Tonya--his targets, the one who get bullied and beat on when they've done absolutely nothing to deserve it. On the other hand, if you can dissociate yourself from their feelings, then yeah, he's a funny guy. But to me, he's nothing but a bully. And a bully is nothing but a coward who's afraid that someone else will find his weak spot, and pick on him first.

But people who watch get that impression he's like that all the time. Again I wasn't meaning to sound negative or bash him. :) I should add happy birthday to him!

Moonpaw.. You should know that Sarah is one of his best friends. I don't advocate everything he does. He has flaws like everyone else. However, I refuse to sit by and let him be labled a "sociopath" or a "misogynist" as many people have. If you haven't, then I'm obviously not referring to you. :)
I absolutely love Kenny!!! I just think he plays himself up on television and his comments are sometimes actually really funny. I'm hands down TEAM KENNY!!!
I think on tv he comes off as very narcissistic. I would not call him a sociopath. I have met a few. And I DID complete my psychology degree (although I'm not using it). But I haven't met him in person, so perhaps he is, and I'm just not seeing it on tv. But to me he is a character on my television. That's all. And I will continue to watch him. Obviously, there are other people that have had to interact with him in real life, and to those people his actions probably are a lot more personal and possibly offensive.
Moonpaw.. You should know that Sarah is one of his best friends.
Yes, I've heard that before. That doesn't make him any less of a bully. Being "friends" is an easy way to say hurtful things and then play it off as just a joke. Tbh, I'm not sure why Sarah keeps letting him make a fool of her. I understand making fun of your friends and joking around--I do it all the time. But the stuff he says takes it too far. And I'm fairly certain that Tonya is NOT friends with him.

After The Ruins Tonya thanked Kenny for being a good friend to her. I believe it was via Twitter.
Ok...was he actually a good friend to her throughout, or was he one of that group that was all "Oh Tonya, you know we love you and support you, blah blah blah" AFTER she got herself kicked off the show? Because that was a load of crap from people who felt guilty about not helping her sooner. And I KNOW he was awful to her on The Island. Seriously, what is with these people and their tolerance for emotional abuse?
I really don't think Kenny is a Psychopath, a Sociopath or any other "path" seems a bit excessive to me. PS- Just so everyone knows, I do realize there is nothing over 100% I did pass the 2nd grade! hahahaha Can't wait for FMII... Go TEAM KENNY!!! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Well this thread has sure taken an interesting direction. As a college graduate with a degree in psychology, I would lean more toward the side of Kenny being a total narcissist. If you read up more on narcissism, the description is almost exactly what we see from Kenny on TV, and it's gotten only more prevalent with each show that he's done.

I agree that from the persona we see on TV, he acts narcissitic. But given that tv persona and real life persona are often very different I'd be VERY careful labeling someone with a psychological disorder based on what you see on the television. Only a trained psycologist or psychiatrist with an MD or a PhD is trained to diagnose someone, and even they would only do that after meeting them and talking with them in person.

DUDE. I can't speak for anyone else, but I was joking. Chillax.
That's why I was careful to mention "what we see from Kenny on TV" in my post.
I know, I didn't mean to jump on your back there... just I waved my psych degree around and then you mentioned yours, so I did it first really. Just don't want anyone to think that I, or you, were insinuating or should be able to insinuate that we could diagnose from across the television cables.
LMAO, thats funny.
No it isn't, that was just plain disrespectful in my eyes. Why do people think this fool is funny? he's not.

Does anyone actually have any photographic evidence of the "chubby childhood Kenny?" I would love to see just how "fat" he really was.

Better yet, his time on the challenges.
Sorry, I meant that more to see how not fat he was, if that makes sense. I think someone said he wasn't even really that big, and I just wanted to know if he was really only just a bit chubby rather than actually big (and thus giving him an excuse for his narcissistic attitude now that he's "beautiful").

It's a joke. :) Hes trying to be funny. It's just like 90% of the everything else he says. It's for a laugh. People around him laugh when he says it.
