Turning down Trishelle does not make you gay... As Molds put it, he has been dating Jillian for a while now
Turning down Trishelle does not make you gay... As Molds put it, he has been dating Jillian for a while now
Well I can still fantasize can't I?
Well I can still fantasize can't I?
Well of course, but with Frank? Come on now. There are way better looking guys.
Well I can still fantasize can't I?
There are other RW women I found way more attractive than her. That is not counting some of the RR women I've also found more attractive than Trishelle. Honestly, without getting rude or crude or something similar, I've never been that tremendously attracted to her in any way. Maybe she is better in person but I find her lacking based I what I've seen and what little I know of her.

Apparently, mcis is talking about Frank ... Instead of Trishelle, I would have easily gone out with either Jacinda or Kat off of London's cast.
Apparently, mcis is talking about Frank ...
Yeah. That's what I said. lol
My first response posted after his so I didn't see it. Hence the confirming post.
As many of you know, MTV is working on rebranding itself. We also know that this is the final season of The Hills. What do we all think the fate of Real World will be? Will The Hills exit be an opportunity for the Real World? Or will the rebranding of MTV along with lower ratings of the show as a whole lead to the show's cancelation?

MTV is nothing without it.

They need to get it back up in the 2 to 3 million range...that's going to be critical.

I give Jersey Shore 2 more seasons before people start to move on.

Maybe they'll consider returning Road Rules to the airwaves or... EGADS! They may actually have to play videos again!!
I was OBSESSED with Jersey Shore and im already tired of it, and they havent even started fiming season 2 yet!
I'm the same way. I couldn't get enough of it! I don't see it going past season 2. If so, it won't be any good. The Real World still has hope. I wish they'd get back to basics. 7 people in a house is enough. They need to start showing more of the fun stuff. They need jobs. Try need to do more with their time than booze and *** it up. Of course, they are catering to a new generation. I'm turning 30 this year. What do I know?
And replace it with what? Jersey Shore?? As for what would they replace it with...I don't know if they would try to replace it at all. It really just depends on what they have in mind with their rebranding strategy. And if they determine that Real World is not appealing to the younger generation then RW either has to reinvent itself or MTV will cut it.
And replace it with what? Jersey Shore?? I give Jersey Shore 2 more seasons before people start to move on.
Not even. By the time season 2 even starts airing (and keep in mind, it hasn't even started filming yet), the hype and "newness" of it all will be long gone. I really can't see them replicating the success of the first season as this cast is now so affected by all of the notoriety.
I think the RW would have to go back to its roots, and I'm not necessarily talking about a new location (which would be a good idea) but the original idea of it. Just take 7 interesting non-stereotyped strangers with interesting stories stick them in a house/loft/warehouse, force them to get a job/work together, allow alcohol on the premises, send them on a vacation at some point, and record it all unbiased. Don't force an issues vs party house on the viewers. Don't specify the homosexual, the minority, injuried/diseased/psychologically unbalanced, and go for an interesting mix of backgrounds. Just let them figure each other out. Give them a key, an address, and tell them to show up by a certain date and time. Pick a city that only one of them has ever been to before or that the RW has never been to before and just let things unfold. It was always the best way to let it happen. If that is done, there is a good chance that RW will continue to improve. ... An interesting diversion would be to give them a "landlord" who is a former Real Worlder but I think it might be too farfetched to happen.
If that is done, there is a good chance that RW will continue to improve.
Sorry, but it hasn't been improving at all. If anything both it's quality and it's ratings have drastically declined over the last few years. (And this is not directed at the cast members they pick whatsoever, but how the show is played out year after year.)
There has to be a way to improve the quality of it ... may be it depends on which director is running the show at the time
There has to be a way to improve the quality of it ... may be it depends on which director is running the show at the time
No -- it's because of the execution of the entire show from the marketing to the casting to the stories they are trying to tell. Mike Manning is by far the best person on DC -- but they have to bring on people to counter balance people like him. There has to be some conflict -- there has to be some interesting discoveries -- and there has to be some surprises. The way the show is currently implemented, there are no surprises...it's predictable...we've seen it over and over and over on other reality shows which is why I think the weight issue on DC was so boring...it's been overdone and overdone. As I've stated many times...they need to find extraordinary, interesting people...not middle of the road people. If they cast people with big stories and big personalities, the ratings will increase.
I like Shane, always have and think he's a good competitor. He told my friend at a bar a few months ago that "Mtv wanted nothing to do with him anymore". I wonder what that means? Like I said, I like him, but sometimes he says really ****** things on twitter. Not to mention offensive.
I miss Shane! I hope DC MIke does a couple of challenges. He may be the sweetest gay guy in RW/RR history. Even more adorable than New Orleans Danny.
Was Miami a good season? I want to watch it, but if it is no good I don't want to waste my time.
Was Miami a good season? I want to watch it, but if it is no good I don't want to waste my time.
Yes -- it was a great season, actually. The cast was very dynamic and interesting. Of course, the funniest part was the 3-way shower scene with the butt smaking action. It's truly one of the best LOL moments of the entire series.
IMO, The best ,cute, nice personality gay guys in rw/rr/fm history are Danny- NO Chris - Chicago Davis- Denver Mike- DC IMO The worst, bit-chey, turn off personality Dan- Miami Tyler- Key West JD- Brooklyn Derek- Cancun
