Ughhhh. Should I even watch it?
Ughhhh. Should I even watch it?
Last night was pretty good, it answered some questions.
Ughhhh. Should I even watch it?
I haven't totally given up, I just didn't like the answers. ;)
Have it DVR'd. Will holler back after watching. I'm not giving up hope yet!
It was good. If I hear "there's gonna be another blackout" one more time I will freak out.
It was good. If I hear "there's gonna be another blackout" one more time I will freak out.
This show kicks ***, man. The pacing is perfect. Although you might not get "answers" - the story still progresses in important and dynamic ways. Unlike that other show with a strange island.. We found out who Suspect Zero was, and the show took a completely different turn - the plot is totally shifted! I'm in it. Totally. I'm really hoping this one gets renewed!

Last I heard, it was on the bubble - its saving grace being its numbers overseas, actually. Anyone know the numbers from last week's premiere? I'll look it up..
'FlashForward' returns to ABC, but attracts small audience | EW.com 'FlashForward' returns to ABC, but attracts small audience by Lynette Rice Categories: News, TV Biz, TV Ratings, Television, Uncategorized Though sci-fi geeks were treated to a new two-hour episode of FlashForward last night, not many chose to watch: The freshman drama on ABC only averaged a 1.9 rating/8 share among adults 18-49 and attracted a measly 6.54 million viewers overall, according to fast nationals. (Final numbers will be released later today.) That’s lower than what the series was able to attract from its last new episode on Dec. 3 (2.1/6, 7.06 million). It also did a (bad) number on the 9-10 p.m. timeslot compared to what Grey’s Anatomy was able to lure last week (6.48 million versus 10.94 million). Clearly, these ratings don’t bode well for the struggling franchise, which is now on its third showrunner, and was already operating at a deficit in the ratings. (It lost 43 percent of its viewers last fall.) And it’s never good for a serialized show like FlashForward to come back after such a long hiatus. (In this case, it was three and half months.) That’s why ABC made the decision long ago to begin running Lost later in its season and without interruption. As is the case with most high-concept shows, however, FlashForward could see some improvement in its ratings when reports from DVR usage come in later. ABC has yet to decide whether to pick up a second season of the show. The network was still able to crow that it had the No. 1 non-sports program, since Fox aired a repeat of Bones and FlashForward beat NBC’s low-rated lineup of original comedies. CBS took the night with the NCAA Basketball Tournament.
Tonight's episode brought it back for me. The Stark storyline is what really brought it home. That was a nice dark turn. I saw him as a minor character, but now the story revolving around him and his daughter is quite compelling. Overall, the dots were connecting well tonight. Solid episode. Let's hope people tuned in. p.s. I still hate the fact that they do not work harder to change a bad future. Ok...gun is gone...gee, I didn't see that coming. How about the minute they found out that was the gun, they disassemble it and then beat the individual pieces with a sledge hammer, and then toss those pieces separately and at random into the deep, deep ocean....
The show is as good as dead. Vampire Diaries on CW beat it last night in the prime demo. The worry isn't really if it will be renewed (it won't) but rather, will they show the last 6 episodes or just pull the plug.

This is a show that I meant to watch... but never did. Didn't a lot of people have high hopes for it? What happened?
This is a show that I meant to watch... but never did. Didn't a lot of people have high hopes for it? What happened?
Two main things. 1. You know what is supposed to happen from the Flash Forwards, so the writers then have to force the story to fit what they wrote 5 months earlier. 2. They gave it a 4 month break. It might work with an established show, but when you are trying to build viewership for a new show, it is a death sentence. The show just feels awkward at this point. I'm sure the actors were getting their scripts and going, "Oh F***" you can't be serious. I was a loving great person and now I am a secret killer mole?" Clearly this show was written on the fly with no real idea of where they were going. It was sold to the network with a good cast and they said, "What if you could see where you would be 6 months into the future" and that was that. Episodes ordered. Then when they tried to write something compelling (while continually adding in, "There will be another blackout" to somehow say that this could have a season 2) it died. I'll watch the rest if it is on, but it is a dead show. Wait...just a second....I just blacked out (damn you Samuel Adams) and saw the future! Flash Forward was not on ABC's Fall Schedule...
I just read on article on this show, about how well it was doing in other countries, and that it is relatively cheap to produce, therefore stating that it will be picked up for a second season. I will try to find it.

I am so glad Janice is a double agent. I really liked her as a character and was crushed when it seemed like she was on the wrong side. This show is still dying, but it looks like we will at least get a season finale.
It's official. It's done. I'm like 5 episodes behind. My gf dvr'd all the episodes but we were waiting to hear what the verdict was. Are you positive that it's going to get a proper finale though?
Also, I don't really get how Janis could be a Double Agent/Mole. That's so out of character, no? Bah, I guess I am intrigued enough to watch episodes of a cancelled show!
