If all else fails, I can blame in on the Spartan Ryan Miller...it's the only thing keeping me sane right now...
I don't want to hear your ******* anthem anymore. A week is going to pass and no one is going to give a **** about your ******* country.
I'm watching Food Network Challenge right now. I switched after they talked to Ryan Miller.

I was hoping we'd win this one. It's bummer that we lost, but I'm still proud of Team USA.
Are we still allowed to use the scoreboard option?
Top North American trends on Twitter...Joannie Rochette still #1, followed later by #happybirthdayjustinbieber and Hate Sidney Crosby. Just sayin.

I kind of want to skip it and just watch TAR since the opening ceremonies weren't that great but I'm sure I'll end up watching the whole thing. They better have an appearance by Rush! No more of this Nelly Furtado and depressing music stuff...

Yeah! Canada won the big game when it mattered. I'm guessing their own the podium wasn't far off because even though they didn't walk away with the most medals they sure walked away with the most gold.(5 more then the USA)

Yes, totally unable to win a gold in either other apperance to going to setting a record for most gold medals won while hosting an olympic winter games. This games surprised me how Canada got allot of medals at the end.
It's sad...I'd like to say that it matters, but it really doesn't. No one is going to care about how well Canada did in a week (except probably Canadians) and an individual or team's success won't be brought up again until Sochi. It's funny considering when a team wins a sports title in the US, they're ALWAYS referred to as "the world champion", but when it comes to the Olympics, the glory isn't nearly as long lasting.
Exactly the Olympics is over and so like many things it will be forgotten. Though their was some good perfomances along the way. I was wondering did people follow the hockey game that you saw today?

They work so hard for so long, make so much less money than the "big" sports and don't get nearly enough recognition and support. I try my best to keep up on my favorite athletes during the off-season and I look forward to the Olympics to fill me in on some up and coming people and some great stories like the one you posted about the bobsledder earlier.

I'd much rather have Olympic gold than some gaudy diamond ring. Then again, if you melt it down, the silver is worth more. So maybe I'd prefer that. Where I was, absolutely people were following the game. Then again, I live in a huge hockey state. But I really don't think it was just about hockey today. It was more than that.

They were freaking HOT!
I was just wondering because where i was at it seemed EVERYONE was following the game. I went to the gym and people who knew nothing about hockey where asking about the game and talking about it as if it were life or death. After the win the main street in my city was shut down.

It's not life or death for us. Yes, it would have been freaking amazing had we won. But in reality...we're not a hockey country. We're going to go back to caring about football and basketball and not having universal healthcare.
Oh my gosh did you SEE that bobsled team? They were freaking HOT!
Seriously!! Definitely got me more interested in bobsledding! Every time they came on screen I was just like "****! Can we show less of Holcomb and more of the hot other 3? It's awesome that he drove blind and everything but the other guys are looking good!" :D Needless to say, I'll be paying more attention to bobsledding during the next 4 years.

Some of the bobsledding guys are absolutely hot! Those nice tight speedo type outfits they wear really show off their bodies. You can see their big thighs, oh so sexy! I thought Jeret "Speedy" Peterson was also very sexy, glad he won silver. Is anyone else having Olympic withdrawals? I miss watching them on tv every night.
Is anyone else having Olympic withdrawals? I miss watching them on tv every night.
I actually searched online to watch old episodes of Dancing With The Stars so I could get my daily Apolo fix. I'm definitely having withdrawals.

I found this website: Video | Michael Buble at Closing Ceremony | NBC Olympics It features highlights but I want to see the entire ceremony. I hate that I missed the Ceremony. I love Michael Buble, Canadian men are so sexy!

Some simple choreography with snowboards making pictures of maple leaves. A couple performances by people I had no clue who they were and Michael Buble who was probably the most enjoyable part of the ceremonies. The best bet for finding online videos is probably OVGuide: Online Video Guide - Watch Free Videos It will search through the most popular hosting sites for you.

I love the Canadian National Anthem. On a side note, I just watched the woman's Long Ice Skating Program lastnight on DVR. I didnt get to watch it in the first run but did anyone else think that the American shouldve won Bronze? Not the white girl but the asian, I forget her name. I think they just gave Joane Rochett (sp?) the Bronze medal out of sympathy. Kim Yu Naw was absolutely flawless though, she set the bar so high that night.
