Randy going was no lose but everyone voting for him was quite shocking to me. I thought there was more of a divide in the tribe. Next week looks great, Coach getting emotional and Russel being targeted as a phony already. Randy after losing on the one hit should of right their and then been eliminated. They could have made the exception this one time because that was pitiful. Epic fail Randy.
I totally didn't think anyone was going to beat him from the villans but putting randy your weakest male agianst James the strongest guy was just a dumb move.

Why? If they knew no one was going to beat James, why put him against someone who could have a chance of actually beating someone? I thought it was a smart move. Randy was the sacrificial lamb.
I guess that side could be argued. With that beign the case they really didn't match the people up well. They didn't take advantage of when they had a smaller person on the other team such as JT and put Russell or Rob agianst them. Though this wouldn't have made much a difference. Some people though did put up pretty good fights such as Coach and Danielle.
I don't understand all of the talk about James becoming one of the most unlikable Survivors. James is still one of my favorites and probably will continue to be. His loyal to his tribe (both on China and Fans v. Favorites) and he wants his team to win (Heroes v. Villains). I think he's probably the same likable person that we have seen the last two times, but the editors found a something that viewers are not accustomed to seeing and it completely plays into "Villains" are not always "Villains" and "Heroes" are not always "Heroes". Really, what is up with the Boston Rob edit? Last week, was he auditioning for the Godfather? It's the same thing. He's one of the dirtiest players in the game (the constant scheming in Marquesas, the Lex vote off in All-Stars), but they are portraying him as this heroic figure.
James became intense, but I think Stephenie wanted to leave with the last word and she instigated that situation at Tribal Council. I don't understand why people think she should be on the Heroes tribe. She was the shrewdest player in Guatemala and that's why she didn't win. She realized that she needed to adjust her strategy the second time around because she didn't want to experience all of the losing she did the first time. I think James felt the same way. He wanted to win this time and realized that he needed to change something about his game play. Also, if people were so fed up with James then why didn't anyone vote for him? Colby and Tom stood up for Stephenie, but when it came to voting neither of them nor Steph voted for James. James may have been blunt, but at least his words and actions were congruent. You have to respect that. Colby, Tom, and Stephenie (although she was voted off) could have sent a message to their team that poor attitudes are what is dividing the team. Their actions prove to me that people want to make it as far as possible and as long as it's not me then that's okay. Parvarti said it best tonight when she said that words mean nothing on Survivor; it's your actions.
Heroes v. Villians is a silly concept in the first place. Since the people playing this season have played before they become more bitter when they are voted off. It deflates their egos and no one wants to be eliminated early in an "All-Star" season. It ruins their "Survivor credibility" and no one wants to be remembered for poor game play after he or she has been asked back because of his or her memorable game play. The point of Survivor is that people who participate in the game are both "heroic" and "villainous," but most importantly really want to be the last person standing - no matter what it takes.
Was anyone else disappointed with the hype they had for James going crazy during the challenge? I didn't understand what the big deal was. He knocked Randy off the platform, that's what he was supposed to do. I don't even like James all that much, but I don't understand why the villains were *****ing at him.

Agreed. I thought it was going to be tribal warfare, and it just turned out to be a few sniping comments over the course of the episode.
Editors are really trying hard to make James the bad guy, especially for the previews for the episode today. Honestly I think he was like this all along it was somewhat hinted on in the past and now it`s shown to everyone in his edit.
Well if James was really like that in his previous seasons, acting aggressively to women, like he did to Stephanie, and not being a gracious winner (he threw the bean bag at Randy when he won while Randy was stuck in the mud) than I think he would have been on the Villains tribe (that's why Courtney said "I knew they put you on the wrong tribe" because he threw the bean bag at Mr. Grinch Randy). People change. But James changed for the worse in this game.
I never really liked James in his past seasons, but I also think the editors couldn't get enough of the bad guy persona in his previous seasons that he is pulling off this season. He probably wasn't that wretched in his past seasons.
I didn't care that Randy went home, but he did have a good point about Parvati. Parvati is dangerous for so many reasons. Why not get rid of her? I know Randy is the oldest, but he also is a joke. He is disposable.
Regarding Mstudent's comment about why Tom, Colby and Stephanie didn't vote for James is because Tom, Colby and Stephanie hoped Candice and Cirie would change there mind and follow suit in voting out Amanda.
Eliza has stated the way James treated Steph is the same way he treated her on FVF. James is such a stand up nice guy he seems to have no problem picking on woman who are on the outs. He is a coward. Thank god I don't live in the South because if thats Southern Hospitality I never want to experience it.
a comment about all the chickens:
I definitely dont think that this has something to do with production. In Hawaii, for example, there are HUNDREDS of chickens running wild in the forest. On Kauai, you can see chickens everywhere as if they were pidgeons. Its quite possible that these wild chickens have become native to the island due to farming from local villages.
What was the number coach wrote? Why was it so important? Why did he say it twice?
Courtney is looking pretty hot!
I also liked Jerri's comment after casting her vote. I always liked her! I think I am falling under the black widow's web!
Randy is funny. I liked how he threw his buff in the fire!

I believe the number is the number of people left in the game. He did it in Tocantins as well. He said it twice because he pointed to the wrong corner the first time.
Having not watched Survivor since All Stars a ton of these people are new to me.
I think James had valid points but there was no reason to repeat them a million times verbatim, I think in doing so he came off as a bully. I don't get what the fuss was about his matchup with Randy in the challenge was about unless there was something we didn't see.
I lvoe watching this show in HD, especially all the eye candy. I could watch an hour of Parvati just lounging on the beach.
Honestly, I don't think the villains planned for Randy to go up against James. I think the contestants just sign up for a round without knowing who they're going up against... I could be wrong though.
