Did Kiprusoff just pull himself?
Maybe, although I don't think he had a choice after the fourth goal, lol.
The US is just owning the puck.
What a boring 5 minutes this has been. We want mooooooooooore goals! Sieve sieve sieve sieve sieve sieve sieve...it's all your fault, it's all your fault, it's all your fault, it's all your fault...

Haha, I know! I was practically dozing off, lol.
Wow...Finland had only given up 4 goals in the entire tourney coming into today...
Yeah, 4 goals on 7 shots will kind of screw up one's average a little bit.
That sucks....he got beat good, and although I agree with the goalie change - it would have been nice to keep Miller in to hold the shutout.
I love Tim Thomas, but there was no real upside for him entering this game (other than playing in an Olympics...which might be worth it to him even after the goal.)

Meh, it was a deflection.

It was cheap, but it was still a goal. It was not his fault....
However, the box score will show it like any other goal.
I hate to do it, but I'm pulling for Canada tonight.
I think we can run the table against Slovakia. The Canadians have more stars, will be favored and are better on paper.
I want us to beat the best.

But...we already did! :D

True, but that was a "one off" victory.
I hold out hope, but we are not the favorites by a long shot in the rematch.
****...those are some big boys pushing the bobsleds.
I've always appreciated this sport, because beyond the driver, the rest of the team just needs to be able to haul that sled like crazy and then duck.
It brings a varied athletic field of track stars, football players, etc.
Go USA!
We keep pulling off, mini miracles!

Another medal, that no one saw coming.

I want to say that this victory was especially sweet to me, because the best Dutch skater (his name escapes me) was angered because a third rate newscaster asked him his name (standard procedure) to set the tape before the interview - and then he said, "Are you stupid?"
I got into a few HUGE debates about this with my Dutch "friends" and they really felt they came away victorious..er, until Mr. Stupid skated home for [strike]Gold[/strike] Silver in the wrong lane. Whoops!
And now this...
What do the Dutch have left to live for?

Sven Kramer. I heard he's a huge **** to the reporters and general public.
And he didn't get a silver...he got DQ'd. No medal at all!

Ok, I actually know his name...but I'm going to pretend I don't. ;)
