That's what, 3 golds for USA today? And a silver and 2 bronze?
Not bad for a day's work.
This was a big, big day!
Expectations exceeded. That is always good.
Canada, which has most of its strongest events still to come, continues to project to win the most golds.
But maybe we can sneak a few? Women's hockey, possibly?
Leaving for the men's USA vs Norway hockey game in about an hour! Then men's figure skating finals tonight! Big Olympic day ahead. Many pictures will be taken and posted once I get them all loaded up! :)
Man, our curling teams suck. Probably the worst team we have in the Games.
I didn't even turn it on today...I was dejected enough from watching the past few days...

I turned it on to check out the hockey game...and they're in overtime in curling. I guess they blew another lead.
Hah, this is the info that came in on my TV:
Women's snowboarding gold medalists Hannah Teter (2006) and Kelly Clark (2002) join glamour girl Gretchen Bleiler on a strong U.S. team as action begins live in women's halfpipe.
That's the nice way of saying "Ugly girls Hannah Teter and Kelly Clark do the halfpipe with the really pretty one from the U.S."

Hehe, that is mean, but funny at the same time. :D
Hehe, that is mean, but funny at the same time. :D
Yeah, I'd say 9/10 days both of them are better than Bleiler, but she is definitely the prettiest of the three. By far.
In other news, NBC is KILLING me with curling.
A silver for Mancuso in Slalom. Looks like Lindsey Vonn fell. Oh well, can't win them all!
NBC tells me that did not happen yet, so it can't be true.
I'm going to watch in prime time and maybe Vonn won't fall this time...

Oh...oops. Sorry :(
Wait...seriously? They're going to start with Jeremy Abbott? He skated a good half hour ago.
EDIT: OK good. They must have just been showing him skate. Up to speed now.
The Finnish snowboarder looked really uncomfortable with his flowers.
I wonder how many people are going to give Shaun White flack for his "disrespect" during the national anthrm.

Ooooh, what did he do?
Patrick is capable of doing better than that. Part of the hype for him is that he burst onto the scene so well as a youngster a couple of years ago.
I'm sure he is, but he didn't do it when it really counted.
