I don't like the denim snowboard pants. I think they look ridiculous.
I don't like the denim snowboard pants. I think they look ridiculous.
I was looking at those, haha. I was trying to figure out if he was wearing ski pants or if those were jeans. Don't worry, by this time next year the slopes will be filled with denim snow pants... Not saying it is a good thing, just that it will happen. ;)

I would never buy them. Plus, they feel weird.
Ah, I'd love to see Louie Vito step it up and win a medal. He's had such a great year and this would be a great cap. And an American sweep would be awesome!
It would be nice, but maybe too much to hope for.... That is an awesome course, btw. At night, it just looks sweet from the air.
My step dad is Canadian...and earlier today I got a half hour lecture (while watching curling) on how the Olympics are being diluted with American friendly sports. :D *cough* snowboarding *cough*
It would be nice, but maybe too much to hope for.... That is an awesome course, btw. At night, it just looks sweet from the air.
Yeah, probably. But I can dream, right? :D I wonder if Shaun White is going to pull off the "sick" trick everyone's talking about if he's still in the lead come his second run...
I won't even get into his thoughts on figure skating - which account for almost 20% of all US medals ever won, hehe.
Holy ****! Did you see the difference between that dude in the pink pants and Shaun White's air? That's insane!!! He had to have gotten at least 21 feet.
I wonder if Shaun White is going to pull off the "sick" trick everyone's talking about if he's still in the lead come his second run...
Vito is up. I have my fingers crossed. I think he is going to pull it out no matter his position. He is not going to leave anything in the bag!
HUGE last trick! Still probably not enough to take him into medal position...but still enough to bring him up a little bit.
Vito didn't look impressive, but that last trick was awesome. You'd think he would have been rewarded.
Vito didn't look impressive, but that last trick was awesome. You'd think he would have been rewarded.
His straight air totally screwed him. If that was solid, he would've been up for sure. But the 1260 was sick. I'm surprised they scored the Finnish guy that high.
Molds...I was not paying attention earlier and don't fully understand the format...can White win the gold with his current position and just have a free run? Pull out an absolutely insane trick for show?
Ok...he is the winner...does he still go? Come on...I want to see him run!
Do it!
Haha....this is awesome, they are talking about the finish.
Molds...I was not paying attention earlier and don't fully understand the format...can White win the gold with his current position and just have a free run? Gotta love live television!!
He's gotta go on. He's gonna have fun with this one. I wanna see the double McTwist!!!!
The move...let's see it!
Holy ****. Hoooooooooooooly ****. I want to see the score on this one!!!!
Hahaha...
He is so much better than everyone else...it is not even really a competition. Well, at least for first.
Who does that? Seriously. Who freaking does that. And he wasn't even at full speed.
48.4 on a victory lap. Unbelievable. If anyone is gonna get the first perfect score in snowboarding, it will be Shaun White.
They gave him a 48.4...ouch. And he was just having fun!
They gave him a 48.4...ouch. And he was just having fun!
Seriously... I'm gonna give that double McTwist 1260 a go when I'm boarding next month :D You guys will be the first to see my X-Rays!!
Jinx, you owe me a beer? Wow, this has been a great night.
Looks like a lot of people were watching it...it's the #1 trending topic on Twitter right now.
I know it is a surprise that Julia took silver in the downhill, but she is a gold medal Olympian in Giant Slalom and they seem to fly over that fact in accolades for the predetermined hero, Vonn (although I am happy for her.) Just saying. That aside, Julia Mancuso was very gracious as was Vonn in that interview that took place like 8 hours ago...
