Super Bowl XLIV
The big game is mere moments away! While not really being a fan of either of the teams this year, I'll of course still be watching (unless it turns into a blowout, which it might.) I'd be happy with either team coming out the victor, although I think I am siding a little more with the Saints being how big it would be for the city of New Orleans. Oh and I am also looking forward to the commercials, and hope there are a few new instant classics. p.s. Watching Puppy Bowl VI until kickoff. p.s.s. There are kittens too!
Um...why are they playing the theme song from Survivor either in the background of the reporting or at the stadium?

Are we ready to rock and roll? LET'S DO THIS!! Geaux Saints!!
Um...why are they playing the theme song from Survivor either in the background of the reporting or at the stadium?
I heard that too. Maybe they were running a Survivor advertisement on the Big Screen? Speaking of Survivor, I am surprised CBS did not put the premiere following the Super Bowl. Even though I am going to watch Undercover Boss, I have a feeling most people are going to tune out being they have never heard of it.
Kerry, as Randy Jackson would say, "Pitchy" at times... Edit: I listened to the end again and it might have just been a doppler effect that made it seem like she went off note.
Queen Latifah was having some issues with her earpiece and sounded a little pitchy at times as well.
I am always intrigued by the commercials. I just watch and laugh as $2.5 Million goes up in smoke. They've all sucked so far... (Or maybe I'm just not in the mood.) Good first drive by the Saints. At least they got 3 on the board. Edit: Actually, the Survivor commercial was ok. :D

As a Purdue Alum.. I feel I would be doing you a disservice if I didn't share a Drew Brees story with you. I was a freshman when Brees was a sophmore. That year I was at a party with some friends that included a friend named Doug. (I'm already laughing thinking about this) Brees was there as well. Doug proceeded to get **** faced and start taunting him. In true adult fashion he starts yelling "Drew Brees has **** in his pants!! He's a ***** pants!!". He almost got a beat down. He wouldn't stop yelling it for anything. Another friend of ours dragged him outside while his older brother apologized. Brees really is a good guy. He understood and laughed it off. Sometimes we still laugh and chant "Drew Brees is a ***** pants!!" Doug will never live that down.
Nice catch Reggie...are they going to show us Kim K in the Owners box? The over under is 2.5 times, haha.

The Brett Favre commercial was pretty good.
The Brett Favre commercial was pretty good.
Ya, that was good. There have been a few good ones, but most are just following the standard formula - especially all the bud and budlight commercials. One of my favorites, hehe. Saints are turning it around. They have the momentum right now.
Give it to Reggie so we can have our first Kim Kardashian sighting!

So... a few of my friends and I were planning to head down to Bourbon once the game was over, but I'm pretty sure that I-10 will be backed up too much! Edit: Thank God for Hartley!
This has been a good game so far. i hope the saints pull it out. On a side note, I cant believe Cris Carter was left out of the hall of fame again.
