The Challenge Series: RW/RR (Generic Thread)

I don't really know how big of a fan you are but Jodi and Cara definately don't need to go to charm school. Adam Adam and Eric also don't need to go to tool academy. I don't really get what you're going off of here.

They should have a VH1 vs. MTV faceoff that would be awesome

I don't know it would be far from awesome. It probably would be entertaining, but they'd have totally jumped the shark and that would not be awesome.

You guys realize that Charm School is about the ladies bettering themselves and not being huge ****** right? Some of those chicks aren't bad at all. And Tool Academy is about being more devoted to your girlfriend and not cheating on them. Not about less arguing and **** like that. Oh, and Debut, you know very well if that Darrell wasn't afraid to get kicked off, Wes would be looking as bad or worse then what Brad looked like. If anyone thinks otherwise, then either you are underestimating Darrell or overestimating Wes.

Rachel learned from the Island that her old ways were not going to get her far and came back with a vengeance on the Duel 2. Veronica has just experienced this on the Ruins.

I don't think Veronica was the same. Even Johanna said that Veronica was really nice and sweet and that she always comforted her (mtv clips). Yeah she did have that huge blowout between her and Tonya but who wouldn't? When Tonya clearly instigated it. I don't get why Veronica's getting most of the blame for making fun of Tonya on previous challenges when Rachel and Tina were just as bad. Veronica and Tonya got along very well on The Ruins up until that drunken fight.

Veronica wasn't definitely not the same on the Ruins. Which made me a little upset. Veronica is known for her sketchy ways of controlling everything in the game, in the Ruins she kind of laid low. However, she did have that blow out with Tonya, and also somehow had everyone change the vote to Ibis rather then her. Then she did her little known smile when she gets things her way. That made me a little happy to see Veronica back to her old ways, but she didn't control it to be that way, at least it didn't get screen time if she did. If she was the same, there would have been more manipulation and she would've made it to the end, but it's not her generation anymore.

I was thinking today what would happen if the RW ratings sank low enough for MTV to want to cancel the show, but wanted to keep the challenges going. I think it would be cool to have seasons (maybe shortened seasons) that would ALL Fresh Meat, and it was actually a competition to get onto the RW/RR challenges. So there was prize money at the end for the winners, but all those who made it to the last challenge would win the chance to be on the next RW/RR challenge. There could also be a "Viewer's choice" for someone great that didn't make it to the end. I realize the concept could SERIOUSLY suck but I think well-executed it could be good. Definitely not for a full-length season but maybe a preview to a full challenge. Then again, maybe there's a reason I'm not a tv producer...

I don't know if I could handle a full season of just fresh meaters. The ones we already have are horrible enough...

Is anyone getting tired of Kenny and his alliance winning every challenge. Its getting pretty boring and seriously MTV needs to recruit more challengers from other seasons, im glad that Fresh Meat 2 is coming out.

I don't think we'll see Evan or Kenny on these things soon...I think they will move on.

If their clothing line doesn't blow up they might just for advertsiing.

Yeah I can see Kenny either breaking the most appearances on a challange or most wins record.

He has only skipped one Challenge (Duel 2) since first appearing on Fresh Meat, and I have heard the only reason he wasn't on that one was due to production not inviting the winners from The Island. Although it would have been funny to see him lose to Nehemiah again. The fact that a sucky competitor like Kenny has now won more Challenges than the Miz, Timmy, CT, Brad, Landon, Wes, Theo, and Mark (all of whom are FAR superior competitors) just shows what a joke these last few Challenges have been. At least Evan is one of the better competitors on the shows and actually has taken a few Challenges off since coming on. I'm sick of Kenny thinking he's God's gift to these shows when he has gotten nothing more than a few cheap wins thanks to production putting together casts where nobody can pose a viable threat to eliminate him due to his alliances. It's ridiculous. I'm really interested to see what they do after Fresh Meat 2...I hope they get a cast and rules together that can end the JEK bull**** once and for all.

I was always a fan of the Challenges, but now its like the same ppl same drama, and its unbearable. I remember always anticipating the challenges like battle of the season and the inferno and gauntlet one, but now they are so mediocre, i wish they continued RR cuz i loved that show and they should have had at least 1 more season before taking it away for good.

How come Aviv never came back on the show?
