So the chances of the Jersey Shore coming back are slim to none, due to the fact they want more money, like 10 grand to be exact!?!? Didn't knew you got paid to be in shows like that. They are also saying that they are way better than the hills, which is the main reason they are demanding more cash. Knowing MTV, they will either drop they're longest running reality show or the Hills/City, or give them Guidos a nice fist pump goodbye.

It's not like they are asking for a crazy amount of money.
They all want to be treated as equal and recieve 10G's each.
$70,000 an episode? not bad at all considering a few hill stars make that for a (fake) half hour episode. MTV would be stupid not to make the deal.

MTV originally offered 5K an episode, which the fistpumpers rejected. They did retract it and are now offering 10K, which they haven't responded to yet. So technically they have made the deal. With 12 episodes a season...THEY would be stupid not to make the deal.

I dont think they'd be stupid to reject the deal. They probably the know he ******* from The hills get $100,000 per episode so 10K is a slap in the face to a show that saved a dying MTV. Before Jersey Shore no one was watching MTV shows, their ratings were really low and they had to resort to airing other network's hit shows for some kind of ratings (FTLORJ & South Park). These were first run episodes which I have never seen done before. Now all of a sudden MTV is relevant again and enjoying monster ratings, the finale had a 4.8 rating which is amazing for cable television. I say they should demand more money. If we dont get a season 2 because of it I wont be mad because I am sure the second season will not be as raw or real as the first. I have a feeling there will be so much acting in order to top the first.

I don't think there's any way that they're all going to get $100K an episode.
I agree that they have in a sense saved MTV, but I doubt MTV is willing to go that high. One thing's for sure...they must have good lawyers.

I agree I dont think they deserve $100k quite yet but if the Hills can get that much then the Jersey Shore kids definitely deserve more than a $10k an episode. I am not going to throw out a number but they definitely need more than 10k but not quite as much as 100k.

I think that they'll probably end up getting lowballed. MTV is threatening them with replacement, so instead of getting what they probably deserve, they'll accept less to at least have a job.
I mean...getting paid $120K to party at a sick beach house location? Not too shabby, right?
I don't think anyone on the hills get over 100k, Lauren didn't even get that much.
Yeah, I believe that Kristin is getting 90K per epi and that's the most out of anyone. Lauren only made about 75K.
I can't believe I'm saying that she only made $75,000 an episode.
Why are they all getting paid equally they aren't all equally entertaining?
That was actually their decision. They're taking the Friends route.
Wow, that is lucky for Vinny and Jwoww and Sammi as they should get paid less. I heard that Snooki gets paid 10,000 a night to party at clubs/bars is this true.

She has received up to $10,000. Its all abut the # of followers.
I thought Jowwow and Vinny were entertaining, if anybody should be paid less its Sammi and Ronnie, talking about boring.
Ugh Sammi and Ronnie are really boring with their stupid relationship drama. That's the only part of this show I dont like. Vinny's commentary, especially in confessionals can be hilarious. Jwoww has provided great drama and fights.
Them bringing back everyone to me at least seems kind of stupid. The whole part of these shows is bringing complete strangers (for the most part) and having them live together whie their lives are taped. By allowing them to come back as the exact same group you can't expect anything different unless you include different factors. Otherwise you get the same show.
This next season is either going to do really good, or really bad. There will be no in between.
The sad thing about this show is that im afraid they will try to hard and it will fail. Everybody knows their personalities, and if the Situation and Pauly D are being divas, this could get bad for next season. Mike is ******, but next season he could be an unwatchable ******.

That is what the real world is about. Just because they do that doesn't mean that Jersey Shore needs to as well. I love the idea of reuniting the cast.
They know they need to be entertaining. The good thing about them is they are all crazy and all fight. And it's REAL not fake.

Yea that's really true, they aren't good at all at reading scripts and here's proof.

check the 2:30 mark, wendy is so funny when she's mad. But yea Snooki obviously has no future in or acting nor do the Situation or Pauly D.
So were Ronnie and Sammi broken up after the reunion or are they still together? I think it will be more entertaining if they are in fact broken up on bad terms.

I totally agree! so much more drama! Plus I don't think Sammi really has any friends in the house besides Ronnie!
So its been confirm the whole entire cast is back, I hope Angelina doesn't comes back. Cause its not fair, she quit!!!

Still, we don't know anything about her really. She could've been a great cast member all we know. I think they should give her a shot if she wants to be in. She was cast for a reason.

I'd rather see them cast someone new than give a second shot to someone who didn't appreciate it the first time!!
People keep looking at this like a "real world" type show.
The only thing relates to this is that they are 7 strangers living in a house.
They are no longer strangers, friends would be more like it.
What we have is another hills/laguna beach only better and real.
They will keep the same cast till they move on or some will do it forever.
I just don't see an entire new cast happening... ever.

Good. Because I will gladly follow Snookie's escapades well into her 40's.
