Even if you aren't the biggest fan of Joey, half the reason why the band even did well was because of him being on TRW.
They did well? This was the first time I heard of them, lol.
They did well? This was the first time I heard of them, lol.
Yeah they did well for what they were before Joey was on tv.

I guess "doing well" is relative. I do really well playing golf against my 12 year old neighbor. I own him! *******! er....sorry, it gets heated.
Anyway, doing well or not, if the group as a whole wanted him out - it just reflects on how abrasive a person he is/ has become.
They were a band before The Real World, and I have to imagine he came back and thought he was ******* Mick Jagger...

I meant he did well as in LNW had an east coast tour and I'm pretty sure they got some kind of record deal.
Not sure how you didn't hear of them unless you didn't watch Real World Cancun, Joey talked about his band a lot in the first two episodes.

I don't remember him mentioning the band name.
East Coast tour? What, they did Yankee Stadium, Virginia beach amphitheater and the TD Garden in Boston?
Haha, no...I am sure they were the background music in a bunch of dive bars...
Record deal? Warner? Sony? Capitol? Who are they with?

I never said they were "huge", as in "jive records" huge, they were doing fairly WELL as in they were getting booked during the airing of Real World Cancun.
Joey mentions late nite wars in the first and second episode of the seasons.
I never said they were "huge", as in "jive records" huge, they were doing fairly WELL as in they were getting booked during the airing of Real World Cancun.
And then the clock struck 15 minutes...
Record deal? Warner? Sony? Capitol? Who are they with?
Their facebook page says that they're with Shock Value records.
And thats why I said, Late Nite wars was relevant because of Joey.
Late Nite Wars was never relevant.
Joey was for a moment in time and that has passed. Moving on...

Ahh, basically on level with my [strike]made up in house[/strike] mega publishing firm, Zeus Records.
I guess these days all you need is a halfass website and you are a record company. Sweet!
How can you deny the fact that Joey was what got the bands name out there and got jobs and such for them? They weren't known at all before the show except locally for them. Joey goes on Real World and mentions his band a few times. Then they go on a tour and have a record deal. No matter if they're mega super stars or not, they're still more known, more popular, and have more gigs because of Joey being on the real world.

My cat is more popular because I have a website.
Does that mean anything? Really?
We are not talking about any sort of real popularity. We are talking about a fad that wore off quick and never paid the bills.
Can you name their best songs? I sure can't and no one else, without internet access can either. Not best songs, one song...
You wanna know what else is more popular than Joey's ex-band? Jingle Cats.

Zeus could and totally should join that band Bacchus! He could make you millions! :D
And yes, I totally own one of the Jingle Cats CDs.
Even if it was a fad that wore off quickly, it was a fad because of Joey. It obviously paid the bills for awhile.
The band existed before Joey was on the Real World. It will exist after.
It seems obvious that they were more concerned about music than fame by booting the cancer.
I wish them well, and hope they can top Meowy Christmas sales figures.
Joey isn't the only person in the band maybe now they can worry about what the cared about when they started band which I think would have to be music. I'm pretty sure as well Joey won't have to much trouble finding people who would play in his band.

I agree.
Fifteen minute people can find all sorts of people to back them.
Does it matter to us, the populous as a whole? No.
He is already in the forgotten category. He was on a show with limited appeal.
No one really cares what he does. Well, until he hits bottom. Then it will be a good story.

*cough*CelebrityRehab*cough*
*note: I only used the word "celebrity" because it is the actual show title. That term was used very, very, very loosely.
Looks like we may see him in a challenge after all. He said he'd never do one probably because he thought he'd be a succesful musician by then.
Hahahaha I dare him to go on a challenge. I'd love to see this all talk no action ***** get stomped! ;)
What's the big problem with him? I know he's arrogant and cocky but he's a great character.
Well, as a woman (at least for me), he's not attractive at all, and his disgusting personality doesn't help. I mean, between the tattoos and the lip piercing and the greasy messy hair, he just looks like he's a carrier (of diseases that is). I just think he's gross.
(No offense to guys w/ tattoos and piercings, I'm talking about Joey specifically)
