I was watching Jersey Shore with a good friend and we saw a commercial for The Real World and he says "that show needs to give up already". Funny comment from the casual viewer who doesnt really follow MTV shows that closely.
Real World needs to pick up it's game because I think Jersey is going strong! Maybe things will pick up after the season ends oh yeah btw so does anyone know if it's a greenlight that the same cast will be back for a second season???

MTV just had a "Jersey Shore Spoof" special, featuring the cast watching clips of various spoofs of themselves and the show (from fans, SNL and other late night shows). It was HILARIOUS, especially at the very end when Mike, Pauly, and Snooki did a spoof of themselves. And they were all such good sports about it. Very funny!

The Real World is fine. Its doing okay in ratings, the same as its always been.
When the Hills or Laguna beach first came on, was there a need to replace the Real World, no.
I enjoy both shows for different reasons.

It was great but I've been obsessed with the show so much that I've seen every clip before the special. I love the clip of them at the end making fun of each other, it never gets old.

One thing I don't like about this show, is that they seem more "normal" in their interviews. You know, more calm, relaxed, not as crazy. It makes me wonder if sometimes its all an act...

Because I doubt she was a ***** all the time and they only put those times in the episodes. I want to know about the other sides of her than the *****y side. She obviously isn't all the time cause she was really glad that Snooki stayed. Besides, she had every right to complain about the stuff that she was.

I'm sooo tired of hearing how this or that shouldn't be on tv (or in the media) because children might follow suit! The show is on at 10 pm on a weeknight. Children shouldn't be watching tv that late anyway. (especially not MTV). When are people going to take responsibility for their own children?

If you're basing that on season 4 and a little bit on season 3 then I agree but besides season 4 ABDC is a much better show.
Anyways, I dunno if this has been posted at all but The Situation was at a club in San Jose, Ca the other day ( I think a past weekend or something ) and my cousin was there. The Situation got himself in a situation when he was talking **** to someone and since he was on tv and there is always going to be someone hating on him, PLUS he was in Cali (the place with a ton of haters) it took him 20 min to get knocked out. When I heard that, I laughed cause I cannot stand him.

I'm pretty sure he got in a fight at a bar somewhere in the Boston area a couple weeks ago too.
