The baltimore Ravens dismantled The pass game of the Patriots. Haven't seen to many games where he has been unable to do reaaly anything and turn the ball over so much. With that Joe Flaco was awful 4/10, will not be able to beat the colts with a perfomace that bad.
Who does everyone predict will go to the Super Bowl? I'm going to say the Vikings VS the Chargers... I dislike both teams, but I'd have to root for the Vikings.
Well, obviously, I'm going to put the Cardinals in the Superbowl but for the AFC I'm not 100% on who. I have a feeling it will be either the Colts or Chargers.
Call it: Cardinals vs Chargers
How would Arizona make the Super Bowl? They have very weak pass defence, also they let Green Bay comeback from a 17 point lead to make it go to overtime. While they were at home. If anything I think they will lose next week as New Orleans should be able to outscore them.
Trust me. They are not as weak as they appeared to be. We had one guy who kept the Packers in the game with his 4 pass interference calls. The Saints running game will not get very far at all. Consider also that the Saints defense is ranked #25 in the league and Green Bay was the #2 in the NFL, #1 in the NFC. Warner torched them for 29-33, 379 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The Saints offensive line has not been tested the way Arizona will test them. I think that you will be surprised. No one but the Arizona fans have stuck by them. Everyone always picks the other team in the playoffs and yet we keep winning.
Another thing about the Saints wins... 8 of them were against subpar teams at the time. Arizona is no subpar team.
I gotta go with San Diego vs. Dallas. I only picked Dallas because they were the hotest team going into the playoffs on the NFC side.
1st post after maybe a year of lurking! Hello everyone!!
Have to agree with mr.unamazing... not a Dallas fan unlike most everyone else where I live but they have a good thing going on this year. Minn will be their real test as they've already beat NO away.
Colts deserve to make it but I think karma will crush them somehow. Chargers/Cowboys would be a great game to watch.
Im going to say it will be Chargers vs Cowboys for the superbowl. But im not sold on the Cowboys getting their so if they dont i would say Arizona. Regardless i think the Chargers will win the title.
The Cardinals had 6 losses this year during the season.
2 were against the 49ers, who we've always had trouble with and they've admittedly been our kryptonite.
1 loss to Indianapolis ... c'mon it's Peyton Manning at the top of his game.
1 loss to the Titans which was a squeaker of a game.
1 loss to the Packers where the game was played predominantly by our backups
1 loss to the Panthers where we were just inconsistent as all ****.

I believe that depends on if Romo chokes again in the playoffs ;)
That is double the loses that the saints have. New Orleans at home is scary for most people, in that their fans are very vocal. As well with the saints having a bye week they will be so prepared that they should play way less sloppy then the Green Bay started. The only way I see it being semi close is if Anquan plays in the game and they get off to a huge lead but even then New Orleans showed time and time agian that they can come back from massive leads and win.

Romo was fairly well in his first playoff game except the botched hold he did. The other one I found him attrocious. This week will be a great test as he is going agianst a great defensive line that will hurry him allot. All I can say is if you like Cowboys hope that Jared Allen doesn't get one of his multi sack days.

I am a Niners fan, that should tell you how I feel about the Cowboys ;)

They have also shown to have blown leads completely and either escaped by the skin of their teeth or crumbled...even at home. They should have been 15-1 but crumbled when they should not have. Saints should be better than their record but they are more likely to crumble against tough opponents.
The Saints need to hope that Brees does not go down because Brunell is very slow. I will say that the reason the Packers got a lot of yardage through the air is because they were consistently putting 4 receivers on the line with a 5th receiver, tight end or a running back. Most of their ground yardage came from delayed handoffs. In addition, they were picking on only one cornerback of the Cardinals for most of the game.
I admit I would not want the Cardinals facing off against Peyton & the Colts. I'd rather face the Chargers.
I'll make my picks for this week, though they could change due to injuries.
1. Baltimore vs. Colts: Colts win should this even be close the 4 time MVP is superior to Flacco on almost every level and will be out played.
2. San Diego vs. Jets: This game should be closer Jets are good at running the ball and stopping the run. Phillip Rivers should do well and past playoff experience should come up huge. Look for a mediocre performance by Mark Sanchez. San Diego wins.
3. Minnesota vs. Dallas: With Tony getting his first win will he continue the streak? Lots of questions, I feel both of these teams strengths are very similar they both have good defense with an excellent pass rusher (Jared Allen, Demarcus Ware respectively) they both have good running games and they both have streaky quarterbacks. Well when you have streaky quarterbacks I tend to side with the one who is playing good (Romo) above the one who isn't Favre. This game should be the closest of the weekend.
4. New Orleans vs. Cardinals: This game is a battle of opposites, the Cardinals have at best okay running and great passing (when Anquan plays) and the saints have mediocre passing agianst great rushing as Mike Bell was a breakout player for them. The only difference the Saints can pass when they need to as been demonstrated throughout the season and have an MVP candidate quarterback while Arizona has.....Bennie Wells. I expect to see though both Darren Sharper and Adrian Wilson to come up big on defense. I look to seeing New Orleans take the early lead, with a late rally from Arizona which will be shut down. New Orleans will win in a close shot out style game.
I think the Colts & Chargers win in the AFC this week.
I would like to see the Cowboys win if only to force Favre to think about retirement yet again. Plus, it would be easier to convince Favre to retire than Jerry Jones (who is the NFL version of Steinbrenner).
Cardinals will win in NO because they are monsters against the run. They shut down Peterson for Minnesota and the only guy who got lots of yardage against their 1st string was Chris Johnson of Tennesee (who got lots of yardage on the ground against everyone). The Cardinals will force the NO to stay airborne. The X factor is the playoff experience, but not just of the players, of the coaches. Sean Peyton has very little if any playoff experience in the NFL. Whisenhunt has loads of playoff experience. A big reason we got so much passing yardage was the manipulation of Whisenhunt with swapping packages of players. During the regular season, we never stacked 3 receivers one on side like we did in the GB game. That was a playoff move.

That's not really a good excuse for a loss...
1 loss to Indianapolis ... c'mon it's Peyton Manning at the top of his game.
I didn't see the Jets or the Bills having problems with Peyton.
1 loss to the Panthers where we were just inconsistent as all hell.
Again, another poor excuse. I have seen teams play inconsistent and still win. That's when you need to rely on other players.
New Orleans just tore Arizona UP in the first half. It was ugly.
Larry Fitzgerald's first catch with 14 seconds left in the half? Kurt Warner out? They'd better hope he gets into this game or they won't stand a chance.
So far this week for my predictions I have been right. I thought that Arizona was going to lose, I just didn't expect them to perform that badly. Like though I said earlier, New Orleans wasn't going to comeout flat and after the first they dominated as opposed to last week when GreenBay got dominated the first half. Darren Sharper was also playing great.
All the teams I've rooted for this post-season have dropped like flies. I just can't bring myself to cheer on the teams who are "supposed" to win. Still holding out hope that the Colts will NOT win the SB this year.

Bush averaged 16.8 YPC. 5 carries. 84 yards.
ESPN's recap of the game:
Reggie Bush danced around defenders who fell over each other trying to tackle him. Drew Brees was back to passing with pinpoint accuracy, picking apart a beleaguered and depleted Arizona secondary.
A little rest was all the Saints needed to shift their league-leading offense back into overdrive.
That, and a visit from Arizona's porous defense.
Doesn't sound like they thought too much of their defense.
