its really ******* me off that everyone is associating Derrick wit JEK when really hes above those guys. Evan is the man though
Really? I sure can't tell.
Oh and I also wanted to say that KellyAnne and Sarah did good in the finale challenge. Even though they didn't win they should be proud of themselves.
And **** at Sarah on the dailies apologizing to Kenny when she didn't do anything, that girl has no self esteem.
Great job on the challenge though.
It seems that she did say something that upset them. And she took her anger out on Kenny and not Johnny. I wonder what exactly happened though it seems like we are missing something.
It was a great finale, specially since (by chance or design) it gave the weaker team a real shot at pulling the biggest upset in challenge history, even bigger the G3.. even though i try to avoid reading spoilers, it was no secret the Champs were going to win, and still really enjoy the final challenge.
i really think KA and Sarah earned everyone's respect, but JEKD + Susie demostrated why they are the top dogs in the challenges right now.
Some eps had some very boring parts, and a few challenges i thought they were un-challenging (like the pick up the flowers one).. but overall i really enjoyed The Ruins.. the challenges, the elimination rounds, the drama, and the majority of the cast ( i still think we could have done without some weak players in the challenges side)
i dont know if they could pull out a RUINS 2, but if they were to try it, should include none of the winners, and a stronger challenger team..
Suck Yeah !
Congratulations to the champions! They came from behind and won.
Kudos to Kelly and Sarah! You two came so close. Derrick was right when he said you two really made a name for yourselves in this mission.
Phenomenal effort by the Challengers, I've gained a lot of respect for Kelly Anne and Sarah. However, the JEK + Susie and Derrick showed why they're the champs. Hopefully after winning the Duel against Dunbar and winning 2 challenges, people will stop calling Johnny a weak player. Kenny still has to prove himself in a elimination round though, he hasn't proved himself since FM.
faceless your name should be heartless
He has a heart, but his loving choices are quite exclusive.
Sarah really impressed me this challenge and season. I am now a definite fan. I just wish girlfriend had a backbone and wasn't drooling over Kenny. Kenny is the ugliest one out of JEK, in my opinion. His treatment towards her is dispicable, joking or not. She clearly has many issues inside (from this challenge and RW) and needs to work them out to defend herself.
I wonder how much later they finished than Champs? Surprised KA ruined it with the slow speed, even Susie flied through it. That might of been their downfall.
Last comment: I'm surprised Derrick, who has been on challenges with Ev and Rachel Robinson gave Sarah and KA such high remarks. I'm hoping for a new batch of kick-*** girls in the future with Sarah and KA, hope they do more challenges.
I thought this was a great finale. Even though I knew the outcome I was still pretty interested. The girls probably would have won if it wasn't for KellyAnne and that balancing challenge.
Another thing I found funny was all the different fomations the guys had when they were carrying Susie. Kenny with her over both of his shoulders, Evan with her over one shoulder, Kenny holding her arms with Evan and Derrick holding her feet, and then her sitting on Kenny and Evan's shoulders with them holding her arms up. It was actually pretty amusing to me lol.
Susie reminded me of Aneesa for the finale. Hear me out, she clearly isn't THAT bad, but Susie does well in eliminations and can solve a puzzle, yessirree, but add an endurance race and you got all the boys arguing over who is going to carry her accross the finish line.
As a female, I am really proud of Sarah and KA and would go that route if I ever had the chance to be on these types of shows. Why girls go on and disgrace themselves and make a bad name for the rest of us is beyond my thought process. Like Shauvon actually signing up...lol.
It's not like they don't know what the are signing up for. Steaming hot location with bugs and jungles, check. Atleast a 3K race in ugly uncomfortable clothing in mud and sand, check. Grueling obstacle courses, check. Why sign up if you can't even do a 100 meter sprint? Haha, okay, I am done venting now.
I am very proud of the Challenger girls, they may have not won but they put in a great effort and gave the Champions a run for their money. Even though I knew who won I really enjoyed this finale.

Same here.
i felt bad for kelly anne and sarah. :(
do you think kelly anne cried? I know sarah did.
This is probably one of the best final challenges ive seen since i started watching. The Duel was a good one too.
Yeah the Ruins was probably the best since Gauntlet 2 or Duel 1.
Yeah the Ruins was probably the best since Gauntlet 2 or Duel 1.
The Ruins and The Gauntlet 3 are the best things that have happened since The Duel 1. The Inferno III, The Island, and The Duel II pretty much sucked.
Gauntlet III ruined the challenges, I don't get what so great about that challenge besides Katie screaming at CT and Coral being Coral. It did have probably the best reunion.

No it did not ruin the challenges. LOL everyone says they wanted JEK to lose, well they thought they were running the game on that one and they all lost.
I think the ruins would have been better if it had more cast members. Like 4 more (32 total) CT, Abe, Coral and Beth and then like replace one of the girls with Rachel Robinson.

That would've made for an even better cast though, and I think the finale line up would be a bit different. I definitely wish Ruthie would've gone on this challenge. She would've been a great, and much needed addition, to the Challengers team.
Yeah the last episode was good, I actually really like Susie, even though she's a b****, she's usually pretty up front about it and I'm glad she let the guys know she wasn't going to be their punching bag. Kenny, I usually like him but the railing into Sarah just got straight up vicious, it was hard to watch. I guess it's the character he's getting paid to be but I also think he has some self esteem issues going on, he's too keen on convincing everyone he's the best - it's kind of like the guy that's a little TOO homophobic, you just know he's got gay **** under his bed. Johnny. . .whatever. . .he's so dumb I can't even dislike him, he's the village idiot, that's pretty much it. Derrick, I don't really think one way or another about him, but props to him for staying under the radar and managing to still look like a good guy even though he's obviously in bed with the others. Evan - I don't dislike him, he's clearly the brains of the operation. They should be kissing Susie's butt for sure because between the four guys on team they only had about half a brain functioning - Evan being the half brain, they would've been screwed on the puzzle were it not for Susie.
I would've loved to have seen the challengers pull it out, it was certainly winnable, I think they did a good job making the final challenge pretty fair. Sarah and Kelly Anne did a great job. I don't really know that anyone deserved to win more than anyone else, I think whoever best utilizes what they have going for them in order to get to the end deserves to be there - but part of me wishes Susie would've sat down and threw the final mission, it would've been a little bit of poetic justice I think.
Susie/Kim was definitely my favorite Ruin.
I think Cohutta vs Wes is my fav Ruin.
I definitely think Kenny is both making for lost time and has personal issues that drive him to be the way he is. Kudos for Sarah for putting up with it as long as she had as well as she had. I was expecting Susie to get more involved in defending her directly.
The finale was great I wish I wouldn't have "Accidentally" read the spoilers page earlier this year, I would have been on the edge of the my seat even more...but Kelly Anne has really grown on me, wasn't a big fan of her's on Sydney and The Island.
