RW/RR: The Ruins - Dailies

Drunk Brad asked for it. By getting in a boxer's face and antagonizing him over and over again. Darrell told Leah on the Inferno he tries to stay out of arguing because he has a short fuse when arguing with grown men, he'll just start swinging. And that's what happened. Why Brad why? I love him but he's just drunk and frustrated because he doesn't have a chance in **** of winning.
Why was Derrick the only one trying to stop Brad? You could tell Johnny was scared ****less. He's such a punk.
I thought they agreed that Darrell wouldn't have to go in any more ruins after he took out Cohutta? I feel like there is something really shady going on. In particular, Brad changed his mind about putting Casey into the Ruins on the one mission that the Challenger's actually won.
I cant believe Darrell actually called him a ****** jabroni!! ****. Funniest.line.ever.
I gained respect for Derrick again. Not only did he try to stop Brad, he did not react to Brad's kicking him. And the daily just showed what wusses Johnny and Kenny really are. Obviously Johnny can only push girls.
I agree with Unicorn. I, too, remember what Darrell said to Leah in The Inferno. Darrell typically tries to keep his cool, at least to the point that he doesn't let himself get into physical altercations on the show (I am wondering about outside of the shows, though. Something Rachel once said sparked my interest.). The thing with Wes was an odd situation for him - it seemed maybe he was trying to get Wes to throw a punch and get kicked off so he couldn't ruin the missions for the Champions. I don't know. The first part of their argument was missing and I'm not sure how things started. That was messed up of Brad. He was trying to bait one of those guys into a fight. He was looking for a conflict. I don't care if he was drunk - he's nearly 30, been drinking for many years, and should know his limitations by now. He is responsible for his actions. And he was wrong for kicking Derrick (more than once). That alone is reason enough for him to be kicked off, I'd say. And Darrell should have not let Brad's words get to him. I do understand him getting upset by Brad, since Brad was running his mouth at him. Don't blame him for being upset. But I think Darrell should have tried harder to leave it alone. I do agree with Binary Solo, though - we don't know if Darrell was drinking beforehand or not, either. Not everyone acts the same when intoxicated. From the times we've seen Darrell drunk on this challenge, he doesn't go completely crazy like Brad, it seems. Both guys did wrong, BUT, from what we've seen so far in the dailies, it does not look like Darrell is just the big bad guy, like a lot of people seemed to assume. Maybe we will get the full story and both sides tonight, with tonight's episode and The Aftershow (assuming it is Brad and Darrell on). I'm just really disappointed that my favorites were involved in this (including Brad kicking Derrick), especially since they were friends (at least in the past).

Was this the same day of Kelly Anne's birthday party? If so then I'm willing to bet that they were all drunk. Brad was just drowning his sorrows due to him losing and got a little more out of control than others. Well Kelly Anne is pretty wasted herself. I'm willing to bet the fight was just something stupid and alcohol added to it. I don't buy the scheming and alliance thing. If Brad were sober, maybe I would. I think he was just upset his team was looking like it had no chance of winning and here he is with only 2,000 in his bank account because he's been too scared to go in. And there is Darrell with the most money sitting there so he just starts antagonizing him and Darrell lost his cool and resorted to violence. But if you look Brad actually shoved Darrell while Darrell was sitting down. And in the other dailie Brad did this a couple of other times too and Darrell did nothing. I think eventually Darrell was just fed up and lost his temper and started swinging. Brad asked for it IMO by getting up in his face and shoving him. Wouldn't that make most people who might be a little tipsy with fighting experience want to react?
I understand Brad was really drunk, but I'm 100% glad Darrell kicked Brad's ***. And Derrick was trying to stop it and Brad wouldn't listen and was pushing Derrick and kicking him in the leg. Brad's lucky Derrick didn't kick his ***. I lost all of the respect I had for Brad for being a ***** and trying to start a fight with pretty much everybody in the room and putting his hands on Darrell like he did. Team Darrell here. Oh yeah, Wes before you want to fight Darrell again you might want to look at what happened to your buddy Brad. LoL.
let us not forget darell has a very short fuse remember during campus crawl he slapt shane. Brad is very confrontational when he is drunk. I will never understand how production nevers has anyone try to stop a fight. I understand that they don't want to get invovled but are people getting hurt in a fight that worth it.

And Darrell was upset and had to get away to calm down.

Yes, he was wrong to an extent and got too drunk to handle himself . However, Darrell is one of the biggest *******s to grace this challenge along with JEK. If Darrell was such a great calm cool guy he could have walked out of the room or even to the bathroom. He knew how drunk Brad was. Kenny and Johnny are too scared to break up the fight as usual. Furthermore, Kenny mentions he has nothing bad to say about Darrell. Well considering what Darell did to Brad and that Darrell's a boxer, Kenny knew he better not say anything bad about him. Overall, Brad should have not got as drunk and out of control as he did, but I still can't stand Darrell or JEK.
oh my bad thank you. That is interesting to look at though, shane slaps him but what is key is that he had people to get him to calm down here they don't.
^From what I remember, Darrell left the RV and went off to cool himself down. He himself realized he needed to cool down. No matter how you spin it, Darrell has not fought anyone on RR or the challenges, despite his temper, until this challenge. This fighting situation kind of reminds me how Brad came at Derrick on G2, telling him he's changed and getting all up in his face. I thought he was out of line in that situation, too. It seems he didn't understand that Derrick was under a lot of stress as the team captain.
However, Darrell is one of the biggest *******s to grace this challenge along with JEK. If Darrell was such a great calm cool guy he could have walked out of the room or even to the bathroom. He knew how drunk Brad was.
WTH? So it's Darrell's fault that Brad doesn't know how to handle his alcohol? I agree, Darrell could've walked away, but SHOULDN'T HAVE TO. That's like agreeing that Veronica should've walked away from Tonya.
IMO only one person has guilt here, Brad. Darrell tried to keep his calm for several times when Brad came into his face. Pretty logical he snaps at some point, too.
They are both at fault. if Darrell had not snapped and hit Brad than Brad would be the only one in the wrong. as it is, you cannot just knock out everyone in this world who wants to tell you off (drunkenly at that). you must at some point take control of your own reactions. especially when there is that much money on the line for yourself. But Brad was totally wrong too and I'm glad they both go home.

But no, Brad went into the last couple of weeks of this challenge looking for arguments, picking on Casey, getting drunk it seemed every night, and last but not least starting a fight with someone because this challenge wasn't looking good for him and his team and he knew he was going to lose yet another challenge and he decided to take the easy way out and wanted to be a ***** and get someone kicked off with him. Tori should be very proud. It's pretty sad that the only reason Darrell lost his first out of 5 challenges was because someone had to start B.S. with and bait him into fighting.
It's pretty sad that the only reason Darrell is 4 for 5 in challenges now is because Brad wanted to be a punk ***** and start a fight with Darrell.
Actually, the only reason Darrell is 4 for 5 in challenges now is because he fought back. He may have looked like a ***** on TV for not fighting back, but he would've been a **** of a lot richer.

I have much more respect for guys that can walk away from such situation. He doesn't have to proof anything, he is a boxer or something like that.

Anyways, Darrell should have walked away since he knew he was getting more angry and was getting ready to pounce. If he not going to walk away he should have controlled himself, but obviously couldn't. Thus, he should have lefty the room. Darrell did what he did he deserved to face all the repercussions that he did. You don't go around hitting people like Darrell did. That's why there are lawsuits for assault and battery. I've taken several business law classes. I can tell you you don't go hit someone like that because that are antagonizing. I hope Brad get Darrell for assault.
Well trees12, "One of the biggest *****es in the challenge" as you called Darrell just beat Brad's *** and hasn't lost in an elimination game yet and was 4 for 4 on winning challenges prior to this challenge. I think Darrell would be the last person I would call one of the biggest *****es in the game. It's pretty sad that the only reason Darrell is 4 for 5 in challenges now is because Brad wanted to be a punk ***** and start a fight with Darrell.
Just because he knocked Brad out and won practically all the challeges he did dosen't make what he did right.

Wow, I bet if Darrell wasn't friends with JEK, people would be on his side...this **** was hilarious. Reading these threads are just pure comedy anymore. IMO, they were both at fault.
i feel really bad for both.. i do believe the main responsible for the whole thing was Brad, because he couldnt handle himself when drunk.. and now someone that was generally respected and well liked, has a big stain on his record.. but i feel worse for Darrell.. he tried to hold his temper as much as he could, yes, he could have walked away, but i think 80% of us would have not in his position.. so, he tried not to fall in provocation, at the end failed.. and now he will be sent home pennyless from a challenge he was surely on the way to winning, plus having the image of been a violent person on national tv. is all very sad. =(
he was suppose to wait for him to get back up? What kind of fights have you been in?
****!!!! So true!
Dont you think Brad would have followed him?
It's amazing that all this was over someone like Casey.
but u know what Darell has won challenges so he loses on okay, but for brad just another challenge where something goes wrong for him, I wonder how tori feels about this.
Brad acted like a fool, Darrell acted all tough and calm but then made himself look like an idiot. When Brad and Darrell locked hands, all Brad did was lightly kick Darrell on the side. And then Darrell went that far? Dumb. And to people who said Darrell should have waited for Brad to stand back up, doesn't make sense. Fights happen like that all the time. The point of a fight is to win. Do what you do to win. Also, if unless Brad did more, I don't understand why he was kicked off cause those wimpy *** kicks probably weren't as hurtful as Susie's slaps on I3.
Dont you think Brad would have followed him?
Yes, I definitely do. Brad wanted to fight that bad. Brad was really drunk. I mean he was even pushing and kicking Derrick (which I did find really funny). But Darrell "Two Guns" Taylor wasn't waiting that long and he knocked the lights out of that sucka Brad. Team Darrell!!!!
brad is an idiot for one thing, don't pick a fight with a guy who is a boxer, and those kicks looked kind of good by brad.
