C'mon ILuvWes, they're joking. I'm asian, people make jokes about asians, so what?
Excuse me, I'm Asian as well. Regardless if it was a joke or not, it's not funny. What does shampoo and face wash have to do with race?
Excuse me, I'm Asian as well. Regardless if it was a joke or not, it's not funny. What does shampoo and face wash have to do with race?
You need a better sense of humor. They were messing around with someone that they knew would take it as a joke. My friends crack asian jokes at me all the time, and I don't get all offended or anything. Shampoo and face wash have nothing to do with race, but again, when you're joking around just for laughs, not everything has to do with each other.

It's all fun and games I get that, but race has nothing to do with shampoo and face wash so why bring it in. That's great that you like to be cracked at and all, but I'm not you and I don't find it amusing.
I cant watch the dailies. For some reason when I click play the screen turns grey and then it pops up that it is over and I have the option to click replay. If I click replay it does the same thing all over. Would anyone happen to know if there is a way to fix it? Im not sure if it is my computer or internet settings or what? thanks

Hope it works for you.
Ok, so the same thing can be applied to Johanna. You're not Johanna. So what does it matter if she laughs it off? She doesn't have to be offended by the comments just because you find them somewhat offensive, ILuvWes. I am Hispanic myself and I didn't find them offensive. It was all a joke...
That is right, I'm NOT her. I said I was disappointed IF she did (MY opinion).
Why would you be disappointed in her if she took it as a joke? You're trying to tell us everyone handles it differently, you being someone who can't take a joke, so why does it matter if she can laugh at a joke?

What does race have to do with shampoo or face wash? I can only imagine what else they would say to her when they're not on the challenges. Then again everyone does handle things differently seeing that their joke was sooo hilarious cracking off on stereotypes are always so much fun:rolleyes: Again I'm not her, I'm not you or anyone else. I dislike them for who they really are (on cameras). My opinion and my reasoning behind it.

If it was Wes making fun of Kenny for being from Jersey or Evan for being from Canada, I can honestly say that I think you'd find it funny, because you don't like Evan and Kenny. I'm also sure Evan Kenny would handle it the same as Johanna did if she were to call him a "tree hugging pansy Canadian."

Really funny or not. I'm sure Kenny and Evan would have laughed it off too seeing that they like to joke around like that.
I can understand how someone would be offended by the things that Evan said. I was more offended by how funny he thought that was than anything that he said.
Evan and Kenny telling Johanna those words could be offensive if you don't know them or aren't buddies with them. I would probably rip Evan hard for him being Canadian. Just joking around. Kenny is easy to make fun of. Its just buddies talking ****, nothing personal. Johanna just laughed it off. She's probably called Kenny and Evan similar things.
Also, Johanna is not Mexican and they both obviously know that being her friend so they were clearly just trying to be funny. It may not fit everyone's sense of humor but I thought it was funny and wouldn't have been offended if it was said to me! Either way I also thought a lot of the dailies today were pretty funny...especially watching drunk Derrick!!
Nevermind, I thought for a split second in the drunk Derrick clip that it was Kelly Anne who was escaping from being in bed with Kenny once the camera pointed their way, but I think it was Johanna.

Hey, what about Wes' "last will" letter to KA ? pretty interesting stuff ! 1- Casey throwing challenges ? could it be true ? i think we all believe she just sucks.. and also is bad at challenges.. ; ) 2 - Brad having an alliance with Kenny and Evan, i think this is not a secret.. they will make sure everyone else's on the challengers team is called to the ruins before him.. because of their real world friendship- 3 - Advising her to trust V, after he had recommended her not to ally with her before.. ?? and ironic, since KA was in charge of finishing to sunk Veronica's drowning ship. 4 - Telling her to go easy on Evan reinforces what i have been saying since day one, Evan and Wes are friends.. thats why Evan was hurt that Wes lied about coming to Thailand, and why Wes used to insult Evan when they met apart, knowing that he really did care of what Wes said. 5 - Sending Jo home? is this to actually screw her or did he want to get her away from Kenny now that he is not around.. and back to the US, where he already is ? 6 - Telling her "i considered you my girlfriend".. sounded to me like "do not hook up with Cohutta, Johnny or anyone else".. or maybe im just jaded.. :>

Jedyknight, I noticed that too. Its pretty obvious that Wes and Evan were/are friends but people seem to think otherwise.
Jedyknight, I noticed that too. Its pretty obvious that Wes and Evan were/are friends but people seem to think otherwise.
Maybe they were. But I always have thought the term friend is used very loosely for these people. But I do remember Evan said on the Duel about his alliance with Wes that he still thought Wes was the **** of the earth or something like that.

The only one Wes seems to have a problem with is Kenny, and if its because of Johanna, he needs to get over it. Johanna was single and her and Wes were long broken up, plus nothing romantic ever came of it. Its obvious that Johanna still loves Wes, so I don't even what he's worried about it.

On the aftershow Wes and Johnny didnt appear to have any problem between them, and Johnny was even laughing when Wes was making fun of Kenny.
i have never been a Wes-fan.. but i respect him for speaking his mind, been a good competitor and also knowing how to play the mental aspect of the game.. but mainly because he seems to be able to clearly separate the real world from the challenges-world... so he will say a lot of stuff about everyone on the challenge, but not hold any grudges after the game is over.. he will salute those he beats and those who beat him.. i dont think he has any strong friendship with anyone there aside from Brad and Evan.. but he doesnt have any issues hanging with them either outside the challenge.. the exception to all this being the Kenny-Jo situation, since as everyone has pointed out, they still have strong feelings for each other.. if Jo wanted Wes back, Wes will drop KA on an instant (which is ironic since KA is more like him than Jo).. but i think as much as Jo still cares for Wes, she is smart enough not to return to a relationship that obviously hurt her as much as it made her happy.. also, before, when Jo said she didnt want Wes to talk to her in the challenge, it was -as she explained-- because she couldnt handle him been a her old sweat heart one moment and a bitter ex-lover the next.. it was too much for her to deal with, and keep her head on the game.. is a shame that Jo and Kenny did not end up as a couple, i think it would be a more stable relationship than Wes-Jo, Wes-KA or even KA-Cohutta.
The daily where Susie steals Wes' letter makes me dislike her even more.
The daily where Susie steals Wes' letter makes me dislike her even more.
Ummm YES! Could you imagine if someone took her personel letter and read it to everybody? She would be very upset. I have to say I am quite shocked to see Susie have such low standards.
If you watch the Duel 1 aftershow with Wes. When he played that name out of the hat game. He called Kenny a friend. He worked with Evan and considered him a friend as well. They might have not seen him as a friend but Wes did view them as friends. And when it comes down to it, I think when Wes values friendships more than those guys. Kenny ******* Wes, serious gf. It was a low move if you view that person as a friend. And I think thats why Wes looked for an apology from Kenny during this challenge.
Seeing todays Dailies combined with the previous Island. It only furthers that Kenny and Evan want to be considered good guys when **** goes down. While they let Johnny who speaks up even if its cowardly, he does things more upfront. Johnny the scapegoat. Hes the *******. While Derrick, Evan, and Kenny pretend to be nice. During that whole Derrick getting fethered fiasco. Evan and Kenny were just as much involved as Johnny but all the blame falls on that guy. While Evan and Kenny act like they didn't do ****. If you tell me who I dislike more of the alliance it goes in order of Kenny, Evan, and Johnny. Hated most to Hated least.
Is anybody else getting the weird black messages on the episode links on MTV.com that say "**Episode will return Saturday November 14th" etc? The latest videos all seem to be disabled till later dates. My guess is that it's so that Canadians don't somehow watch the episodes off the American site, and will only reappear once the Canadians have posted the video on their site. Is there any other explanation? Is there any other way to watch it?
Yup, I got those messages for every episode except the first.
Are you Canadian?
Are you Canadian?
No I'm american and I live in Torrance California.
