cannottellu - did you different pictures, names, and email accounts?
Different email addresses, different pictures, different names, different phone numbers, different bios, etc. It really doesn't take a lot of time to set all of that up and send in a message -- I just used screen scraper software (mouse memory macro) and Myspace and Facebook. Not to be a tech dork, but hypothetically, if someone used Bulk Email Server with some power behind it (you can get them for free online) you could flood someone's email account with up to 25,000 emails in a few hours...thus, crash a small server that a company like BMP would operate on. And if you don't manage to crash their email server then it would completely ruin their VIP pass process. And if you learned the emails they use to communicate with candidates in 3rd and 4th rounds...u could really mess up BMP's communications. For this reason, is why I think BMP and other casting groups need to find a better way of casting outside of email. Eventually, all companies will need to be on protected email servers to protect against this kind of misuse...but right now, most aren't. In no way I'm I advocating someone try this...but it could be done if you have the right knowledge. I'm just rambling. It's fun.
Is anyone else going to the NYC interview tomarrow ?
I think I'm just going to lose all hope. I haven't been called and it's been over a week since my interview on skype :( I guess it's over for me. but good luck to all of you!! i'm so gonna audition for big brother now! lol

heyyy guys! this is my first post but i have been lurking around here for awhile. nice to finally "meet" you all! :) i was just wondering if anyone knows how strict the producers are about age? i really feel like i would be perfect for the show and i feel like i could learn and grow so much from the experience. the only thing is, i happen to be one year over the age limit. everyone tells me i look younger than i am and i definitely don't act my age! i heard rumors that brooke from denver actually was 25 and turned 26 on the show, but i don't know how true that is. if anyone knows any information about this please let me know. thaaanks! ~kaitlin

So I was at the open call today and I found out the location from one of the people helping out. I didn't think they were supposed to know yet, but I was told it is going to be in Tempe, Arizona. I could be wrong, but this is what I was told. I'm surprised it hadn't gotten out yet. Good Luck...
Just so you guys know, BMP does read these boards, and since you sign a waiver saying you won't share any of the casting process, you're shooting yourself in the foot by talking about how your experience went. Their people may not be the smartest, but they weren't born yesterday. Some of you gave away some pretty...well, obvious information as to how to "set yourself apart from the rest". Keep it in mind...
Oh I thought she said that she was 25 at one point.
i think you might be right. i remember someone told me it was brooke and kimberly who were 25 on the show at some point.
I think i've read somewhere that states as long as you aren't 25 the day of filming [maybe/not sure], it's okay if you turn 25 two days into filming...
I think i've read somewhere that states as long as you aren't 25 the day of filming [maybe/not sure], it's okay if you turn 25 two days into filming...
yeah, i read that too. but then i also read for other mtv castings that you just need to "appear" 18-24 (or whatever the age was for those shows). and i appear to be younger than i am...sooo i'm hoping it won't be a problem....
Isn't Jeff Barr one of the new Fresh Meat for Fresh Meat 2, 25.
Randomly stumbled across this site figured I'd ask if any one has received a vip pass to Dallas yet?
FYI -- I went to one of the castings this weekend and want to say that they did ask about life changing experiences and why you wanted to be on the show. The people who got additional paperwork (meaning Round 2 paperwork) were not at all like the people from RW23 Casting; in fact, they were what you would expect from Real World -- pretty girls, jocks with muscles, etc. Nothing special that I saw -- so they are probably attempting to cast similar people they have for Cancun, Hollywood, etc but will edit in a little story to try to make market it differently.

I really wish they would start casting REAL people and not models or wannabe celebrities, ugh.
I feel like recently they've done one serious season, one party season, so on and so forth. Hollywood was pretty much a party season, Brooklyn was serious, Cancun was a party, DC seems like it's either going to be pretty serious or a mixture of both, so following this formula, it makes sense that RW24 is going to be a party season. That's why, if I audition, I'm going to audition for RW25. I don't think I have the chops to be of any interest on a party season, and by the time RW25 casting rolls around I'll be 21.
I really wanna TRY out before i turn 25, so i have until next October. I wish Philly would come up and IF this season is gonna be a party season, im not sure i know where i'd fit or if i would. But regardless, my goal is to try out before my 25th. I figure "what the ****?" - what's the worst that could happen? lol My only question is let's pretend i tried to send an email, if i can't make it Pittsburgh then how does a VIP ticket help me [or anyone out of area]? lol
Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin's Term is pretyy much over or will be over by time They pick the cast. So if there are still no casting in Atlanta, its still an option.
