Despite his tight jeans and affinity for neon clothing, this 23-year-old University of Utah frat boy is one of 10 children in a strict Mormon family. Recently single, Chet's flamboyant style and energetic personality always makes him the life of the party. Still, that doesn't mean he'll compromise his firm beliefs: no alcohol and no premarital sex. Chet won't chug beer with his fraternity brothers, but he'll take care of them when they get drunk, and sometimes that means playing a prank or two. A die-hard Republican, he is not one to shy away from voicing his opinions and standing up for what he believes in. Challenges: The Ruins Salt Lake City, Utah
Chet. Um...first out. Has to be.
I am interested to see how he interacts with the other cast.
Chet. Um...first out. Has to be.
I totally agree. He may prove us wrong but I doubt it.
Chet. Um...first out. Has to be.
LOL I was thinking the same thing at first. But then I remembered that Chet is very persuasive and could probably last a little while by using some jedi mind tricks lol
LOL I was thinking the same thing at first. But then I remembered that Chet is very persuasive and could probably last a little while by using some jedi mind tricks lol
He definitely does play those little mind games. To quote to great Katelynn, "[He] baits people, and [he's] very good at it. Dare I call [him] "Master Baiter!"" I'm sorry, that never gets old.

People, do not underestimate the hypnotic powers of the fuzzy purple scarf. ;)
OPD! Hahaha. Oh the days where we assumed he was gay because of his fantastic wardrobe. I am indifferent to Chet.
Like Sarah I didn't watch much of RW Brooklyn, but this guy isn't cut out for these challenges...Way to weak and I hope he goes home first
He really looks so out of place. It's not the glasses. He just has a "look" about him that makes him stand out in the photos with his team.
I've just finished watching the Real World Brooklyn because I wanted to get to know Chet (and Sarah) before The Ruins because unfortunately they don't air the RW on tv where I live. I really loved Chet, he and Ryan were my favourites and the mainly reason I kept watching, but I have to agree with all of you, I also think he will not last in the challenge. I never thought he was the one from Brooklyn to want to do a challenge (neither Sarah), I think maybe Scott would want to do one but not Chet. I'm not saying I think he is weak or something, I just think he looks so out of place with the rest of the cast and I hope he doesn't feel too uncomfortable. I'm excited to see what happens and how he interactes with the rest of the cast! I wish Ryan could be there with him though, I love the dynamic and friendship between them. Oh well maybe next time.. One question, does Chet even appear in the trailer? I don't think I saw him.. (sorry for the lenght of the post and the bad english :sorry: )
Close to the end they have a shot of him with fist in the air yelling(or maybe chanting) something.

Instead of Vets vs. Rookies or champs vs. non-champs, how about the God crew vs. the stooge crew? God crew: Chet, Julie, blonde boy from NO, Jon from LA, etc; Stooges: CT, Danny, Wes, Dave (la), Karamo etc. That would be an interesting game.

Chet i offically hate you.... Dont talk crap about Kelly Anne.. My god grow up..I'm glad wes kicked ur (u know what)..
Chet i offically hate you.... Dont talk crap about Kelly Anne.. My god grow up..I'm glad wes kicked ur (u know what)..
Too bad Wes didnt kick his ***. A lot of people on the show think the same thing. So, until proven wrong.......
Too bad Wes didnt kick his ***. A lot of people on the show think the same thing. So, until proven wrong.......
Didn't she and Darrell already get into this? Of the 14 guys in the house, she claims to have slept with 3 (two of whom she was actually dating), and no other guy said anything along the lines of "You slept with me, too..." Which makes me wonder where her reputation actually came from.
That is still skanky though. 3 dudes on 1 reality show. VH1 should give her her own dating show :)
people underestimate Chet. He could of had Wes if he'd took a little more time to think.
The weird thing is, after I saw RW Brooklyn, I said "If Chet does a challenge, I bet he is the first one out." I was right, lol. He put up a good fight against Wes, but let's face it: He's too weak to do these challenges.
Didn't she and Darrell already get into this? Which makes me wonder where her reputation actually came from.
But who knows what actually happened during the show to make Chet and Kim and whoever else talk about her that way. Obviously Darrell was talking about prior stuff (and yes, it was in poor taste), but maybe something happened during the show that made up the minds of other cast members. This is just speculation from me, though. But Chet said it was based on what he'd seen and heard. Also there were rumors of a couple of other guys from the show she'd been with before the show filmed as well (though I don't know for sure if it is true or not). I don't really think it's fair them to hold Cohutta and Wes against her because she did date them. That's different than just a quick hookup. But of course these past relationships can make things awkward when these people are in the same social groups or do appearances together and so forth. I think it's like how it was when people saw what Tonya and Jodi were doing - I guess people were shocked that they would put themselves out there like that. Don't know about KA, but Tonya and Jodi I think came across as desperate and needy to people. Yeah, it does become a bit of a double standard because the girls are talked about the most, but I think someone like Joey from RW Cancun comes across the same way.
I know Chet isn't the best athlete. But, am I the only one that thinks he gave Wes a run for his money in The Ruins? It was a close race. Chet was just about as fast. He also seems smart. I know he probably won't make it to the final challenge of Challenge 20. But, I 'd like to see what he could really do. I'm sure people underestimate him; I think he's got a lot more in the tank.

I don't really think he gave Wes a run for his money at all. I'm sure in a one on one challenge Wes would dominate Chet. He does seem smart, but he's definitely one of the weaker competitors they've ever had on a challenge.
He was only keeping us with Wes, grabbing the first... like three bamboo sticks. After that, Wes owned him.
TRUE!Very true. He was definitely no match for the Wes-a-saurus.There was bamboo poles falling all over the elimination grounds.I like Chet's style, though. I wish he would have won his first elimination round. It probably would have given him the momentum he and his team needed.
Wes-a-sarurs? Haha

Would he have flew through the puzzle? I think he might have, but IDK!What do you think?
Wes-a-sarurs? Haha
HAHA! Thankya, Thank ya very much. lol :sarcastic_hand:

So until I see him perform both physically and mentally, we will never know for sure.
