At first I thought it was Wes too, but I thought Wes was bigger than that. And Derrick doesn't have much hair lol, that's why I thought it was him.
Wes looks like he slimmed down and Derrick is actually pretty big for being that short.
I'm with you. I thought the guy looked like Danny but the Challenger is defintely Cohutta because when he's shown doing the obstacle course with Wes he has a white bandana on and so does the Challenger in the ring one. I'm also thinking the Champion is Syrus. Also some little stuff: At :42 and :43 it shows Challengers in missions. Pretty sure they are Brad (throwing stuff), Cohutta and Dunbar (catching stuff), then Cohutta, Dunbar, and Adam pushing the tire. I wanna say the girl underwater is Brianna because of the hair color. The guy looking at the sunset with his fist in the air looks like Derrick. At the end with the 2 guys wrestling in the sand are definetely Dunbar and somebody (I think Wes) EDIT: Ok nvm, now i'm sure it's Danny vs. Syrus lol, watching the trailer more, Danny is shown with a white bandana on when TJ's introducing the teams. DANNY VS. SYRUS- final answer lol
The champion guy does look like Syrus, but could possibly be Darrell too. Also I think that is Cohutta because he wore that bandanna in the ruins against Wes.
This season looks like 1 of the best ever. Does anyone know how they vote to go into the ruins for example does the champions team pick a challenger two go in or do they pick one of there own teamates two go in. Also does anyone know why Darell punches Brad?
Twenty-eight competitors have been tapped to compete in an exciting new Real World/Road Rules Challenge. We're pitting grizzled and greedy former winners, henceforth known as "Champions," to do battle against a team of equally greedy newcomers and past Challenge losers we've dubbed "Challengers." They will meet in exotic Thailand to see who can face the rigors of The Ruins. Although players will compete at teams, they will also bank winnings into individual bank accounts as they compete in nine intense challenges and a thrilling finale. There is $$300,000 up for grabs and, as always, the players will do whatever it takes to get their cut of the Challenge prize. Not everyone will last until the end to earn a share of the wealth. After each weekly challenge, one man and one woman from each team will compete in "The Ruins" -- a head-to-head battle between two competitors, where one man and one woman will be eliminated. The winner of "The Ruins" not only stays in the game, but pockets the loser's bank account, making them richer -- as well as a bigger target in the eyes of the other players. The loser? Well, the loser goes home flat broke. Avoiding "The Ruins" depends on how well teams do in the challenges. Before each challenge, each team will nominate six people -- three men and three women from their ranks -- to be eligible for "The Ruins." After every challenge, the winning team will split $$20,000 evenly. Then, the winning team's lucky six nominees will be "the match-makers" who will select which man and woman from each team will be sentenced to "The Ruins." The selected men will have their "Ruins" competition and so will the women. The losers will be sent packing. As with any Challenge, the competitor who plays their cards right and forms the best alliances will find they have the power. Those who do not may just find themselves in "The Ruins." However, in Thailand, going into the elimination round is a risk that could pay off, as the winner ends up acquiring their opponent's bank account. Only the players that make it to the end will walk away with the cash they've banked and compete in the finale. Plus, the winners of the finale will earn an additional grand prize! Ultimately, friendships will be put to the test, hearts will be broken and battles will rage -- both on and off the playing field -- as players do whatever it takes to be crowned the winners of The Ruins!
I'm kind of excited to see TJ explain these rules. Something tells me it will be fun.

That? Is confusing...
I thought that at first but Katie and Sarah do the ring one at the 8th elimination. Then Cohutta and Darrell do it in a later elimination. What I was thinking is that maybe there are 9 elimination rounds. But each one can only be done once for that gender. Like if the guys do the ring pull one, then it can never be done again for the men. So it's not like the men and women have to do the same elimination at the same elimination. We are so over thinking this lol
Yes, you really are. Don't you want at least some element of surprise?
I like this new version of the rules regarding bank accounts. I always felt that people like Sarah in the first Gauntlet deserved a bigger cut of the winnings because she went into 5 Gauntlets and won all of them. It sucks that people get to float to the end and get equal shares of the cash with the people that actually had to fight to stick around. It'll be nice to see some of these ******* like Johnny and Evan have to actually fight to get money and stick around.
Also, when Wes jumps off the ship to me it's a clear indiction he's throwing the mission as they are sailing to it LOL. Go out in style.
I just died.
I think the Champions didn't want Wes there, it looks like he got into alot of fights and at 1:10 in the trailer it looks like the rest of the team is celebrating without him.
When did Veronica get eliminated? Did Tonya get kicked off for hitting her?
Why was Ibis crying? did she hook up with Johnny? was she in between his legs?
Humm I love that the nominated people to go into The Ruins if their team lost will be in charge if their team wins. Kinda cool, I wonder how the cast will manipulate this rule.
It'll be nice to see some of these ******* like Johnny and Evan have to actually fight to get money and stick around.
Are you serious? Evan always fights for his money.
Are you serious? Evan always fights for his money.
I think they mean like actually getting rid of someone yourself rather then manipulating someone else to do it for you. Yes I know Evan has gone into a elimination before but everytime he does, he kinda *****es about it. Just grow up and stop being a ***** about it. I don't think Evan is weak or anything but I feel he never really does anything himself. He always needs an alliance to win. I feel that people who can rely on themselves to win are strong players. It is good to have an alliance but Evan aligns himself with everyone because hes a ***** when it comes to eliminations. We haven't seen Evan in any kinda elimination that involved physical contact yet. Let's hope it happens soon :)
You do what you have to do to win. Evan won and that's more then you can say for a lot of others.
Are you serious? Evan always fights for his money.
Evan whines everytime he has to go in, period! However, he earned my respect on the Duel 2 (albeit a questionable victory in the elevator duel). Nevertheless, going in to get extra money is the best thing BMP could have done, and this improves the intrigue. Hopefully this will not be like the Gauntlet 3 where the champions sweep the challenges, and the challengers have no money. Hopefully there no worse than a 5-4 split, which means diminished bank accounts for the likes of a Kenny (who is just a coward when it comes to eliminations with a **** poor record) and Johnny, who is a horrible competitor and a horrible athelete. I just wonder what happens to the money that are in the bank accounts of those who are kicked off for fighting or who had to quit? I really hope that they just deem those checks null and void as opposed of just sharing it among the remaining team members. At least Darrell's hefty share wouldn't go to the incompetent players like Kenny and Johnny. Nevertheless this is admittingly the best challenge trailer I have ever seen, and from the events and the drama, this will be a good one, despite the lopsided 5 on 2 Finale we all know to occur. As for Wes, clearly he is the best competitor on the show, but everyone from both teams was out to get him. He would have had to win 8 or 9 times in the ruins to get anything. Ev had to not compete because she'd kill kellyanne. As for Darrell, to win a huge some of money and then throw it away on fighting Brad is just stupid unless Brad hit him first.
I am really curious as to what provoked the Darrell and Brad fight. I haven't seen any reason on any of the recent challenges why someone might want to throw blows with Brad. He seems like a really chill, big hearted person. And wasn't it on the inferno III that Darrell got into it with Abe right after he eliminated Brad, all in Brad's defense? I believe he called him a poodle.
It was Inferno 2 and it was Abe was calling out the Good Guy males saying he'd take any of them and beat them, and Darrell was in an alliance with Abe and all of the BS drama. Whatever. I wouldn't go as far as to say I am not surprised that Brad and Darrell get into a fight, because this s*** seems so stressful, especially for greedy a** people. Tina hitting Beth, CT smashing Adam, even Abe vs Donnell then Adam on RR, I can't really say I'd hand;e it different. Only one I don't see any reason at all was CT hitting Davis and Steven slapping Shane.
I always thought that Evan was fighting for attention not money....
Does Wes go into every male ruin faceoff? Does he beat Chet,Nick,Danny then gets beat by Cohutta?

They were kicking ***. The Duel - He went to the Duel against CT and lost xD But hey, it's CT -.- The Gauntlet - The Veterans only lost twice in a male gauntlet day. So they only had two male gauntlets. Evan won his gauntlet. The Duel 2 - He went to the Duel 3 times and won. I seriously don't know what you mean. Kenny and Johnny are the ones who need alliances to win. Evan is a great competitor.
He does whine a lot, but he still goes in there and kicks ***.
To be fair, there are a great number of them that "whine" when they have to go in.
To be fair, there are a great number of them that "whine" when they have to go in.
I wasn't trying to say that he's the only one that whines. I was saying that despite whining, he still goes in there and does well.
Ok but Evan's eliminations consist of mostly puzzle solving. Yes, he did the elevator Duel. That Duel seemed hard but we already know Evan is strong when it comes to strength. However, we have never seen any elimination with Evan that involves physical contact with another player. I know solving puzzles is important but still, I wouldn't call him a great player. I don't think he would do so well in a physical elimination. Unless he was going against someone much smaller than him I could see him winning, but against anyone else, I don't think he would do well. And yes, everyone *****es about going in, but Evan acts like he shouldn't have to. Actually I feel like all of the Fresh Meat cast *****es the most when they have to go into elimination. If I was on a challenge, I would just try and vote them in every time.
