Veronica Portillo Road Rules Semester at Sea We first laid eyes on Veronica on Semester at Sea, but we really got to know her during her stints on several Challenge seasons. It was there that she made a name for herself as a force to be reckoned with, despite being quickly shown the door during her first Challenge appearances. But, with at least seven under her belt, Veronica has steadily improved as an athlete, to the point where she's pretty ****** good. Another interesting aspect of her gameplay is that she tends to evoke hatred from her female teammates. How will she do on The Ruins? Challenges: Challenge 2000, Battle of the Seasons, Battle of the Sexes, The Gauntlet, The Inferno, Battle of the Sexes 2, The Inferno 2, The Ruins.

It took me awhile to realize that this picture was from Viewers Revenge.
It took me awhile to realize that this picture was from Viewers Revenge.
I was so pissed that she never make it back onto the RV.
uh-oh. The HBIC is back!
I was so pissed that she never make it back onto the RV.
Me too... She was hilarious in the very first Pit!

Another true veteran, bring the drama please.
I love me some Veronica. The queen is back!
WHOOOOOOOOO one of my favorite challengers is BACK!!! Veronica is back and I'm loving it! I always did love Veronica even when other people thought she was a b****. I'd say she's the queen of these challenges because she always plays them right.
The queen is back, this is great.
Veronicaaa <3
well we definitely know she's on the champions team because she's won more than half of all the challenges she's been on. She's a true champion.

At least we know she's gonna be involved in some drama. Veronicaaaaaa
ok big difference the point is she's a champ! that's the main point and that's all that counts.
One thing I noticed, Veronica never really goes off or explodes. She always maintains her cool in arguments or when she's screwed. BOTSeasons, she just bowed out gracefully, BOTSexes, she said she'd just bite her tongue because if she said what she wanted it wouldn't be pretty, and on the Gauntlet/Inferno, she just kept talking to Katie asking what she wanted to do. On the Inferno 2 she screamed at Beth and the Good Guys but didn't completely lose it. Just something I noticed while Tonya was yelling in her face and Veronica was somewhat dodging her not even looking at her. The scene somewhat reminded me of when The Mean Girls forced Tonya out of the room, then went to her new room to annoy her.
Finally she gets slapped! I love to hate this woman!
I hope Veronica annoys Tonya this challenge.

it looked like Veronica was drunk when Tonya slapped her
I don't think that Tonya is going to give her a chance...

Remember she didn't get much out after Beth had a tirade against her during I2. I think Veronica is in her element when she is being manipulative and plotting stuff, rather than arguing. When she was asking Katie what she was going to do, she probably wanted Katie to hit her on The Inferno so they could get rid of her. She actually said something to that effect when they did the RW/RR Challenges Uncensored show (but I don't know if she was originally thinking that for sure). And that falls into the plotting/manipulating/provoking area. Same with her and the GG situation, though she seemed shocked that they changed their vote. She was angry, though, immediately when learning of it. But she and the other BAs who were berating the GGs for that move said they were trying to get into Jodi's head and fluster her.

I'm positive Jodi would beat her. And regarding the Inferno, Katie did hit Veronica didn't she? I know she didn't get kicked off but if you watch the video on Youtube of the fight, at one point Veronica's head is jerked to one side like she go hit by Katie as the Miz was pushing her out the door. Maybe it was for another reason because Veronica would have probably made a bigger deal out of it. Anyways, I agree about Veronica not really getting "into" the arguements she's in. Like on the Inferno 2 when Tonya switched rooms, Veronica followed her and continued tormenting her. Maybe she does the same thing this challenge haha.
She wasn't pushed by Katie, I think she was pulled back by another cast member.

Nobody pulls her and she says "You wanna hit me again?" as Katie is dragged out lol, it just looks like Katie got in there.

She doesn't come off like the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to verbal confrontations. I personally hate what they did to Tonya that challenge. I hate the whole ganging up on someone thing.....no matter how annoying or messed up they are. No one deserves that. I hope the Tonya slap is justified and asked for. **** on a side note.....every time I see her name I think Portabello and then I think Mushroom......fungus........and now every time I see her I'm just grossed out. Its not fair and super immature but, thats how it is.
I remember during one argument, her big comeback was calling the other girl UGLY. She doesn't come off like the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to verbal confrontations.
Right, that was after Beth confronted her, saying she'd sell her family down the river to win and that someone else deserved to win/make it to the end. And it was in front of most of the people on the challenge. And Veronica's response was, "Beth, your ugly face does not deserve this conversation!" Granted, I'm not great with confrontations myself, but I think there were some things Veronica could have said to Beth after that - she could have mentioned something about Beth not being a good competitor and that people didn't like her very much, and that's why she didn't make it to the end of challenges (I'm basing that on what was shown to us from challenges up to Inferno 2). I also agree that Veronica took it too far in tormenting Tonya. I understand Tonya was annoying to her (sounds like most of the cast thought she was messed up or annoying in some way) and came across as very attention seeking and silly, but to constantly bother her when Tonya wasn't trying to do anything against them was really mean and sad.
Katie didn't hit her..she might've tried and missed but I don't think Katie got her.
I don't think that Veronica could ever hold her own in an argument.
Another castmember that I'm surprised to see back...I love this sexy *****...Brings some good drama to this show, and hopefully one day we see her and Rachael reunite and do one of these challenges
