Well it really doesn't matter what type of "reasons" he has because he is still self-hating.
How do you KNOW that? We've seen no evidence of anything like that. Stop making assumptions it'll only make a, well, you know, out of you. :)
Alright, this is the last thingni will say on this subject since once again it doesn't pertain to the thread. I grew up in Europe and moved here for college. My mom is German, my dad American. When I moved here the biggest problem I had was a checkbox in which often you are asked for "race". I always select other or decline. I think the fact that phrases like "my race" are still uttered is so sad in the year 2009. Also, on attraction: you cannot help who you're attracted to. BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I know what physical attributes I am or am not physically attracted to. That's not racism nor is being honest about that. I think you need to stop equivocating racism with other generalities. I'm a dual citizen, to include the USA, but this country is many, many centuries behind many parts of the world in this respect...and utterances such as the ones some of you have made reenforce that notion.
Who cares who Ty is attracted to? That's his biological, social and emotional inclination and 100% his right without needing to justify it. People. Really now....
The point is that Ty is highhandedly excluding black women. Ty should be proud to date a member of his own race and not discriminate against them. Ty should not be assuming the role of the oppressor. The worst thing that any member of any group can do is discriminate against in-group members. Like I said, this illustrates that Ty is self hating. How is this not self hating and being ashamed of one's race? If Ty was so proud of his heritage he would embrace every aspect of it including members of the group.

Opinion.

Dude, give it a rest. You have your opinion, and everyone else has theirs. We've already asked you and everyone else to stay on topic. Now we're just going in circles.
From now on, any posts that don't DIRECTLY discuss Ty will be deleted.
Why hello, Ty. I am guessing this is going to be part of the resident eye candy on the DC season.
hahaha i know right? this thread keeps getting away from that fact lol
DC Metromix has some interesting pictures of the cast, but this one struck me as most interesting...

Looks like Ty is quite the ladies man as apparently that was not the only girl he was macking on at the pool that day. Judging from the pictures, he prefers brunettes.
What I find interesting is how nobody in the background is looking at them or the two cameras (cameraman and person taking the photo). Hmmm ... extras! lol

Maybe he pulled the "throw something into the pool and hope that everyone watches the splash while I go in for the kill" thing...

What do you mean you know that girl on the left is totally Tweeting about it. "ZOMG at the pool and Ty from RW: DC is making out with some random!". ;)

I released this info a couple weeks back...the day he started his internship and my sources leaked it to me. Once again - my sources are solid and I love them!

Real World Comes to Caps Practice

Fact: As you might have heard, Real World is hanging out in D.C. this year.
Fact: A few weeks ago, a bunch of Tweets suggested that maybe one of the Real Worlders was working for the Caps.
"Yes that is correct" wrote @realworlddcnewz at some point, identifying the Real Worlder as a Caps intern.
"So the real world dc cast got a job with the capitals FML" @sugacaneshane88 noted.

With Brett Leonhardt.
Fact: Today was Caps Media Fantasy Camp. There were print people and radio people and yes, TV people. NBC's Lindsay Czarniak and Dan Hellie were there, with a cameraman. Fox 5's Dave Feldman was there, with a cameraman. But one gent--whom none of the media vets recognized--came out later than everyone else, and with a five-person entourage, including one guy holding a boom mic. I mean, when you have more people behind you than Dave Feldman, you know you're important. When asked where he was from, this guy said "Baltimore," which wasn't what we meant. When asked who they were with, one of the important people said they were "shooting a documentary."
Fact: This fellow, named Ty, said he's interning with the Caps and is doing a sort of documentary, but declined to provide more specifics.
Fact: When asked whether this fellow was in fact with Real World D.C., the Caps declined to comment.
Fact: This fellow went through drills with other media members, taking faceoffs against Boyd Gordon, driving into the boards with Matt Bradley, and learning how to skate from backup backup backup goalie Brett Leonhardt. He told Bradley it was his second time on the ice, and indeed, when attempting to score during a breakaway drill against USA Today's A.J. Perez, he fell full around to the ice, his helmet toppling off his head. During one of his faceoffs against Gordon, he kept drifting backward; "where am I going?" he asked the world. But Bradley said he was "pretty good" for such a novice.
"I fell less than 10 times, so it wasn't a failure," Ty said. "Just got to keep at it."

With Matt Bradley.
(He's actually quite a nice guy, it seems, and pretty athletic too. He was a cornerback at Gilman in Baltimore and then at Trinity College, and he's a huge Ravens fan.)
Fact: After the fantasy camp, the TV people went around to certain media fantasy campers, asking them to sign a release. Some of the Caps coaches had to sign it, too.
Fact: He was teammates in a three-on-three drill with Cakes, from the Junkies. This made me happy. Also, after the event, producer Bret Oliviero sat next to Ty--who was at Alex Ovechkin's stall and was asking about the Junkies--and so Bret told him about the Junkies' ***** or Bore game. This also made me happy.
And yes, that's right, one of the stars of Real World D.C. just sat at Alex Ovechkin's stall. And yes, that's right, as if this team needed any more media buzz, they're gonna be all over MTV.

That's Emily.
We have a wanna be Alton on the show. In the state of brotherhood there [strike]aint[/strike] [strike]ain't[/strike] isn't [strike]nothing[/strike] anything wrong with that cuz Alton is a strong competitor.
So I am 95% sure I just saw Ty on an episode of Chowdown Countdown. It was at some crab place in Baltimore. #38 or somewhere around there.
It was really fast, but the guy looked just like him, had those diamond earring studs, and was wearing a shirt that I've seen Ty wear before.
TY ❤

I always liked Ty. He was entertaining. Though he was wallpaper on his last challenge appearance.
