I like Baya and Devyn but I like all of the guys MUCH more.
The guys trashed the girls first. JD was the ring leader.
Why don't you just make love to all these girls. I mean I'm a straight male and I'll let you have them all, your lose.
I like Baya and Devyn but I like all of the guys MUCH more.
Oh **** yeah. Baya was the best girl, possibly the only real one IMO. I used to like Sarah until she was caught being fake by all the guys. Chet and Ryan together were hilarious.
Nobody is perfect with regards to their business lives, but the killer in this situation was: missing two shifts without calling + this happening in one single week + the job was only for a couple months, for christ's sake + the job itself was pretty **** easy. Most companies -don't- have a three-strike policy under these conditions, and they're not obligated to keep somebody simply because of the roommate's whimpering appeals to popularity. It's also pretty ridiculous when you factor in behind-the-scenes context: a Dailies video featured Joey furiously sputtering about how he was the most responsible of his work group (and threw Emilee and Jasmine under the bus again). He's such a loser.
How come Joey always seems to only dislike the women? You never hear him say he dislikes a man. It seems like he may be scared of making a guy mad.
I'm sure he'll explain it's all about the ~bromance~, but the more honest explanation would be that, in the presence of male dissenters, he'd roll over like a little beta-puppy.
We're talking about the Real World females here. They are usually stuck up, pretty, preppy females.
And then you have the Real World male drones, who guh-huh-huh and gossip like schoolboys on the balcony just as often as the women. But I guess when they do it, they're just keeping it real. And I'm not comprehending why "pretty" is being used in a negative context?
Joey is just a laid back and chill dude and I don't think he likes being around straight up Bs.
Everything I've witnessed from Joey has been anything but laid-back. He's a self-described instigator, and instigating lurid, ugly drama is the antithesis of being chill. From what I've seen, dude's got emotional baggage and issues.

He's a self-described instigator, and instigating lurid, ugly drama is the antithesis of being chill. From what I've seen, dude's got emotional baggage and issues.
I wasn't using pretty in a negative context, I was just describing some of the Real World females, the best adjective would be high maintainance. Exactly, everything we've witnissed has been drama from Joey, but that's only what we've witnissed. I am not condoning Joey by saying he's a god because I, myself, think he's two faced. But he does seem like a laid back dude, he just doesn't like to deal with high maintainanced chicks. The only reason he was creating drama was because he was bored. Remember, they are stuck in a house without TV, Ipods, and all those electronics. I heard the most they got from the computer was email access. When you're bored you're most likely to cause drama. I still like Ayiiia the best. :D
I wasn't using pretty in a negative context, I was just describing some of the Real World females, the best adjective would be high maintainance.
Eh, it's television, though. Most people they cast, regardless of ***, are fairly attractive and above-average.* Most women in day-to-day life are held to higher standards of grooming, so it doesn't surprise me that this facet transfers onto reality television. And I'd imagine the high-maintainance qualities would be enhanced upon joining the televised ranks, where viewers can be pretty vicious if people don't "clean themselves up". * (Excluding Wes. :laugh2:)
Exactly, everything we've witnissed has been drama from Joey, but that's only what we've witnissed. I am not condoning Joey by saying he's a god because I, myself, think he's two faced.
Sure. Although, even the behind-the-scenes clips, and statements directly from Joey's own websites, demonstrate consistency in his toolbaggy demeanor. I mean, we've got to go with what we're given. While it's pretty obvious that editing plays a major role in condensing people's characters into soundbytes, the other perspective is that the purpose of the program is to showcase people's lives. Joey has demonstrated severe problems coping with rejection and dealing with the presence of alpha-females who can shut him down without batting an eyelash. This isn't unique to RW males, but Joey exhibits a tremendously egregious response to it; it's as though the world crumbles underneath him in the face of dissent.
But he does seem like a laid back dude, he just doesn't like to deal with high maintainanced chicks. The only reason he was creating drama was because he was bored.
I can understand why people on the Real World would be increasingly bored, given that removal of their external hobbies/outlets can be mentally corrosive to any person. That being said, I'm not sure if I can blame Joey's ridiculous behavior on boredom. Presumably, the remaining cast is just as bored as he is. And yet, despite them being pretty drama-tastic themselves, I haven't seen many castmembers in history ever stoop to Joey's level of flat-out deliberate triggering and stalkerish obsession. That type of behavior should never be rewarded or enabled through silence; somebody should be hitting him with a rolled-up newspaper and firmly saying "No."

there is an interview on Mtv.com that says he has a thing with sarah from RW brooklyn. and that he kicked it with the brooklyn cast
I'd really only seen bits & pieces of the season so far and from what I had saw, didn't really like Joey at all and thought he was a ******. But I just had the opportunity to go back and watch all the episodes in their entirety and got to see what triggered this perceived "******" behavior from Joey... and I have to say, I was wrong about the guy. Team Joey FTW... he seems real laid back and chill and one of the guys, he only gets into it with the chicks (well, 1 chick mostly) and suffice it to say we all know both of her ores aren't anywhere near a body of water.

LOL @ Rambo.
Well I can't say I blame him at all, that Ayiia chick is pure drama 110%. Any guy who brought home a chick & had a third party in the background yelling stuff and poking fun about their junk would fly off the handle like CJ did... that's not cool and it's disrespectful. And, for her to cry to every girl in the house and play the victim card and seriously play the "I didn't do anything wrong" card was absolutely pathetic. If people like that want to instigate **** with people and then try to play the victim, then I'm all for somebody going out of their way to make them a legitimate victim. What's good for the goose is good for the gander sometimes.

I like Ayiiia and Joey, but that is the ONLY thing I dislike about Ayiiia. "I didn't do anythinggggggg." Sure, you were just splashing in the tub like a cute little puppy, and didn't peep a word. Other than that, I don't mind her.
I actually found her incident with CJ to be one of the least offensive things about her. It was the eavesdropping and starting fights that really makes her least in my book. People say stuff and blow off steam---let it go, Woman.
For me, it wasn't the actual thing she did to get CJ mad so much, but it was the fact that she was so insistent on playing the innocent victim when he got mad. She did not just go into the hot tub and say nothing like she kept repeating over and over to all the girls. She antagonized CJ first. Seriously, CJ doesn't seem like the kinda dude to just blow his top like that and get upset without provocation. You'd think the girls would use some common sense & know that the nutjob said/did something to **** him off.
ok her talking about the size of his junk she was joking/drunk. Yeah it was bad timing but she still didn't deserve to be yelled at the way. I can see where CJ got upset because Emilee ran into his room while he was with someone and then Ayiiia started making fun of his junk but if he was going to yell at Ayiiia honestly Emilee should've been yelled at too. Joey had no business getting into that argument at all. He wasn't even involved. I don't find anything wrong with Ayiiia, she's one of my fav roommates out of all the RW seasons.
I can understand why CJ yelled at Ayiiia but not Joey. He had nothing to do with the situation. Him jumping in just showed that he only wanted be in the center of the drama.
Although he may have been quite the jerk, I still love him :)
Although he may have been quite the jerk, I still love him :)
I gotta agree. At the start of the season, I thought Joey and Ayiiia were the ones I was going to hate the most. Now that the season's over, I love both of them! I am always curious about the editing of these shows. It comes off like Ayiiia had a sudden change of heart; she was depicted as two totally different people, when you compare the first few episodes to the last few, when all the Jonna/Pat drama took over the show. I'm sure this was a learning experience for her, and I'm sure it was for all of the others, too. Even in real life situations, living with another person is a real eye-opener. It brings out things in yourself you didn't know you had, and it is never fun to learn that other people aren't always going to get along with you. Like me. I'm a people pleaser and everybody has to like me, even if I act like an idiot, haha (I tend to call it like I see it, and some people don't like that very much!). But in the Real World, the cast is forced to face themselves without the distractions of tv and internet (can you imagine, if you've never been there???), so things come to the surface much quicker because they have to interact with each other, ALL THE TIME. So, I think Joey and Ayiiia had a personality conflict (an understatement, perhaps LOL), yes, but in the end, it showed real maturity that they were both willing to let go and move on, and actually be friends! That was their redemption, to me. I already liked them, but when Joey came back, and I saw them get along (WOW did they get along), and I saw how they talked to each other on the reunion show, it was not affected. It was real. My first interpretation of Joey was that he looked like Macaulay Culkin (actually, I still think that), and a "wannabe punk rocker". Now that I know how seriously he takes his music, shame on me for the "wannabe" assumption. But the thing that has impressed me most about him, after following his Tweets, is how he is NOT relying on the show, and is definitely not as into himself as some of the others are. Reading some of the other castmember's tweets, I'm thinking "All these people do is party, party, and party some more". Must be nice. But Ayiiia has been posting about her girlfriend, very little about MTV at all, except for saying she has a speaking engagement or something, and Joey almost seems sick of the subject. He's into his music, and his girlfriend. The other night he posted a picture of a "second grade dinner" he made, that his girlfriend had requested. Chicken nuggets and tater tots. But I think that's why Ayiiia and Joey are my two favorite castmembers, after all is said and done. They're not stuck in the "I'm a pseudo-celebrity" mindset, and are just going about their lives, making public appearances as necessary. Actually, same goes for Bronne and CJ. Bronne is back in school, playing his Nintendo 64, typical frat guy, and CJ is doing his thing with football. The two of them do not tweet all that often, come to think of it. I kind of went off on a tangent a couple of times, and I know this is a "Joey" thread. I like the guy. I was impressed by a couple of shots early on in the show that flew in the face of his "bad boy who doesn't give a ******" image. Like when he talked to Jasmine out on the balcony about Pat. He was very sincere, worried that Pat was playing Jasmine and saying "I am that guy". One of my favorite Joey moments was when he called the house after being kicked off, and Bronne answered, and Joey was saying "Now I'm just a name with a white arrow pointing to the phone!" and Bronne said "and it will say 'Bronne's friend'" and the arrow went up on the screen, just like that. That was so funny. I LOVED the camaraderie among the guys. Too bad the girls never bonded like that.
Forgive me if I'm reviving an old thread and annoying everyone, but i just came about this forum and saw this thread. Joey was performing with his band a few weeks ago at my town and i was the photographer for the event. His band is alright and not to bad. I think this was the night he recorded the MTV RW Cancun Reunion and they flew him out in the middle of the show actually. But here is a few pics i wanted to share for the interested. Great pics! Thanks for sharing! (I wonder if that hat smells as bad as his other one...I'm horrible, I know)
These next few are coming off my facebook account so i don't know how legit the links will hold up, but Joey did whip out his ***** during the performance and stick it to his guitar. LOL at the second picture.
I love Joey's brash and brazen style.
Looks like Joey was possibly kicked out of Late Nite Wars according to his last tweet...

I feel sorry for him, if it wasn't for RW Cancun, they probably wouldn't have gotten any gigs or a record deal. That sucks.
I absolutely hated him on the show especially because I know they portrayed him exactly how he is in real life, but I still feel bad they apparently ditched him. =/
I'm not surprised. Anyone that spends any amount of time with him that is not in someway related to him, will eventually bail unless he starts to realize he is not the center of the universe. I can't wait for the ten year reunion. Meet Joey Rozmus, balding plumber and septic specialist, extraordinaire - who was once on the reality show, The Real World.
Joey to me was the attempt of the producers to recreate Puck.
