So this is almost not worth a posting, but then again it is. I just watched the [url=http://www.nbcwashington.com] NBC Washington[/url] story in which Adam Rosenberg (of [url=http://www.antirealworld.com]Anti-Real World DC[/url]) and I were interviewed. Also interviewed: Mr. Mike Manning while walking down the street. He spoke..short and sweet "DC is awesome," he said to NBC 4 reporter Keith Garvin.

I was sent a tip earlier that Mike was overheard at Subway today insinuating he was going to or currently dating a girl. I don't give this rumor much weight (not because I think he's gay, but because I find it doubtful that he or any of the cast have found the time to start any sort of dating given that they haven't done anything without the public knowing....) But, I'd be remiss in not sharing this rumor.

From what I recall, Metromix doesn't have the best "sources". ;)
Mike is my complete favorite. He is the only guy that basically says F**k BMP "I am going to talk to you bloggers" He knows that BMP can hear everything even when the cameras are off him so he covers his mike and talks low for us. He disagrees with alot of the cast meembers on there views for bloggers. He said "we signed up for this" he told me he is here to make a change. He wants to show that to everyone. He is a sweetheart and yes he is BI. He said "I like guys right now but in the end I want white picket fences and a beautiful wife". I give the most respect to this castmember. He deserves it for actually being REAL!

While his female friend from Florida has been trying to be on a PR blitz to debunk this, I have it on credible account that Mike has two boys nearly fighting over him. (In part because I know a good number of people around this situation, am friends with a few, and am receiving great dish via e-mail.)
Yes - one is Robbie (who appeared in many photos over the last few weeks) and the other is Eric (a bartender at Nellies).
I've sat on this for a while now, to get more clarity of what's going on. I'm not sure revealing further details will benefit anybody.
So while certainly not "juicy gossip", these are some interesting developments.
PS: One of Mike's handful of [I]bois[/I] does pron videos too and is well known for this in the gay DC circles.

Saw Mike out and about at JR's last Sunday night, no cameras in tow inside, not that they could fit. Also saw a few cameras with him for a minute while he was playing soccer at Stead Park on Friday evening.

Well, now that the cast has left DC, I am so pumped to see the new season. I have great hopes for the social impact of this season, particular given the cast's attentiveness to various political issues and institutions. My money is on Mike as being the most impactful. Whether Mike is gay, bi, or straight (it matters not), I expect that his work with HRC, his presence at the dinner last Saturday night, and his (with the rest of the cast) presence at the march on Sunday, among other things, will shine a great spotlight on issues around GLBT equality. From our limited perspective here on Vevmo, he is a interesting and charismatic character. Other than being stunningly attractive, he also seems to be very friendly and outgoing and oves to have a good time (pool parties, dancing at the pool, egging on backflippers at bar, and having local hotties apparently fight over him --my money was on Robbie btw--, and being a kissing bandit with some of the girls in DC).
In closing, I wonder if the producers intentionally had the cast stay in town until October 12 in order to be present for the March. If memory serves, someone on Vevmo expressed surprise at the length of the taping. If they did, it was brilliant. If not, what a happy coincidence.

[I]First of all - none of this info is coming from Mike; I'm just responding to this last posting (so, no need to fine any of the cast members and more than you already have, dear BMP friends)[/I]
I promised myself and some of the cast members that once they wrapped, my official duties reporting on the cast members would stop (other than a general wrap-up that I still plan on writing and posting in the main thread). Especially since they go back to their regular lives now, until the show airs.
But, to answer your question: once production decided to leave earlier than we had expected, that date became October 14, 15. They left on Monday, October 12 because of several reasons. Some of the local radio stations and media had planned on doing a flash mob outside the house - it was organized through no less than four organizations and was going to coincide with the cast departure. When production caught wind of this, they decided to get the cast out early, and changed the cast's departure quietly -- the cast members were actually surprised with the date (because they had different travel arrangements already in hand).

it would be cool if this is him....but i'm a little suspicious...i could b wrong but i think ive seen both of the pics of him before, which could (or not) mean someone is trying to set up a false account...the cropped profile from his my space page and the beach pic from something someone posted once to prove that they knew him...early on in the casting days....does this ring true for anyone else? i will go looking for the pics i thought i saw.
I think its really him. Andrew's girlfriend is on Colorado and she was with him, Andrew, and somebody else. So if it wasn't him, she would probably just ask him.
