CT & Evan's showdown on the first Duel, as far as I can remember, is the #1 elimination in terms of pitting physically strong guys. I can't think of any other elimination that had two guys in it who were that size & that strong... and the fact that they ended up having to climb a rope and put together a puzzle in their elimination wreaks of lameness.
Would there really be a contest if CT was again Evan on something like pole wrestle or push me? CT is the meanest ********* ever on this, both in the game and outside. Evan is strong but CT is better in something like that in my opinion. I can't think of many people that could beat CT honestly. I mean, yeah I'm talking about someone who has never won but not all is his fault. I think he's had the worst luck. Worst then even Derrick cause at least Derrick lost fair and square in elimination rounds rather then making it the end almost everytime and getting screwed over cause of a weak teammate or getting a dq slapped at you. Only time it was really his fault that he didn't win was I3 and D2 when he got kicked off the show.
CT against Evan or Landon in Back Off would be epic. I would like to see that showdown.
CT would hurt Landon real bad in Back Off, there's like a 60 pound weight difference
I want to see Darrell in an elimination. He always makes it through without having to face off against anyone (excluding Fresh Meat) and I never really thought he was that great of a competitor. I guess you can't argue 4-0 though.

So then judging by that philosophy alone, your saying the #1 competitor in the game of Back Off would be Big Easy? Landon v BE, CT v BE, Derrick v BE - Big Easy will win them all because of the massive weight difference?
Skill has a lot to do with this game. Height and size and how many muscles you have don't really guarantee victory and someone's ability. Nowadays, you can see 6 foot and over guys with sculpted bodies unable to do crap. Weight lifting requires little skill, thus why these pathetic jokers have six packs and are meatheads.
It just so happens that a few of the best males who entered the challenge scene (some) are taller and sculpted, like CT and Evan. Personally, I feel like there isn't much Evan could beat Landon in and Landon v CT would be something I would pay to watch. CT and Landon are similar in age and athletic ability. For me, I prefer a more muscular and bulky Lando a la I2 and G2 than he is now since he really leaned out for endurance and bike racing. I have no idea who would win in such a duel, but it would be pretty dirty and I think TJ would be blowing his horn over and over again with the wrestling and practicalities it would bring. I would love to see Abe go at it again and Alton.
What i would REALLY love to see is Landon vs. MJ in any physical elimination. At this point, they're pretty much the only Philly castmates who keep getting called back and since they are very good friends since they met in Philly and both are athletic and strong, a good physical match between the two of them would confirm which of the 2 Philly greats is truly the greatest of all.
I just realized that not many people from Philly really did challenges...Landon and MJ were the only two who did more than one, and the only other two who did a challenge were Karamo and Shavonda. I wish Sarah had done one, I loved her :(

CT is a better all-around athlete than Landon in addition to being bigger than he is, plus he is nuts. You unleash a guy that is 6'3" 230 with that kind of athletic ability & rage on somebody who is like 5'10" 175 and the little guy is going to get hurt.

Not to be funny or mean, but I think its clear who is better. Landon has and would smoke MJ is any competition, daily challenge, elimination round, etc. Unless the competition is who has the curliest, blondest hair or stand still and who is taller, Landon is clearly better at challenges and his track record proves so. Any time MJ and him participated together, MJ could barely hack it and always hung in the middle of the pack. Even on G2 when he came and "Saved" the rookie team, he was still eliminated to Frank for being an idiot and not saving his energy. I think now that he is older and has a family to provide for, his ability came and went and he is mediocre at best present day.

Come on now, Landon is 175 lbs? I think maybe our biases are getting into the way of logic (and CT is ranked second in favorites for me with Landon holding first) but I think that statement is redicilious. Unless someone is able to show me proof or something that Landon is 175 lbs now. This is actually the FIRST TIME I have ever heard someone call Landon "the little guy". CT smokes, drinks, and parties and seems to just show up at these things rock solid with good performances. Landon has been and is pretty indulged into training and especially for Duel 2 since he races bikes professionally.
Maybe you have forgotten Inferno II. The only time I can think of a CT vs Landon match up there was a challenge - high up in the air, a rope and they had to tug accross it using their arms or legs and the team with the greatest distance won. Derrick (a true "little guy") was the longest for Bad ***** when CT faced Landon. Not only did Landon smoke CT and win the challenge for the Good Guys, CT didn't even beat Derrick's challenge distance and I believe the prize was pretty good for the day. Landon was more muscular and jacked back in that day, but that was years ago and he chose a different life path with endurance riding.
I am by no means saying Landon could beat CT but on the same respect I am not willing to say CT is able to beat Landon right off. I think they both have particular strengths which would influence their elimination rounds. But if you want to get technical, Landon could probably outclimb CT in his sleep. And with the same respect, CT could probably push a pole because he has "more weight". And eat cookies. The probability of this debate actually occuring is rare so until then all we can do is discuss based on opinions. Since I love both guys on these shows, I am going to lean towards some sort of factual basis behind my opinions but to each his own.

CT did win the prize that day, it was a flat screen TV. He beat Derrick's amount by like .2 feet, and gave up as soon as he new he won the life shield, he probably could have gone longer but he just wanted the TV since his team was down by about 10 feet before their heat even started.
Personally I think Landon > CT, since CT doesn't try as hard and DQs quite a bit. In elimination rounds I think it's dead even where CT having the edge in physical contact eliminations and Landon having the edge everywhere else.

I believe you mean Gauntlet 3... :)
and I agree with you. When the original poster said that there was no doubt in my mind who was better. Landon all the way.
Landon wrestled at 145 pounds his senior year of high school and is not all that much bigger now than he was then. 175 pounds is his ceiling as far as what he weighs now, no way he is over that.
No offense at all about the answer to my Landon vs. MJ question. I think Landon would win too, i just said that it would be fun to see them square off since they've been best friends since meeting in Philly. If only Randy did Challenges again and since it's been a long time since he did one, maybe he's been working out in all that time so that if the possibility of a Brad vs. Randy faceoff happens, it could go either way. Speaking of Randy, i believe him and Kina are finished as a couple and have been so for a long time.
Here's a question, who do you all think was the "star" of each challenge? Which cast member do you think the challenge would not have been the same without?
I'll just do the ones I have seen (which is quite a few haha).
Battle of the Seasons: Mike (RW Back to New York)
Battle of the Sexes: Ellen (RR The Quest)
The Gauntlet: Sarah (RR Campus Crawl)

Fresh Meat: Wes (RW Austin)
The Duel: Svetlana (RW Key West)
The Inferno 3: Susie (RR Australia)/Cara (RR South Pacific)... they go together haha
The Gauntlet 3: Frank (RW Las Vegas)
The Island: Evelyn (Fresh Meat)
The Duel 2: Evan (Fresh Meat)
What do you guys think?
Hard to tell who has the edge between CT and Landon as both have changed physically since their last match up. But if we add Evan to the mix, I think he would take them both based on recent pictures. Landon and CT have leaned out while Evan still has some bulk.

I would agree with you on all except on The Inferno...I think it's a tie between Coral, Katie and Veronica.
And rw/rrjunkie, I'm pretty sure that Kina and Randy broke up because he cheated on her. That's what I heard, anyway.
eggs78, at least we know CT and Landon can get girls. Also, if they were to appear on a challenge, all 3 would train for the challenge. I'm not so sure about Landon, but I think CT would build himself to be like he was in past challenges. Especially now that he has lost weight, he'd probably look like he did on the Duel. CT in shape like that is probably one of the strongest players ever. But like it's been said, everybody has their own strengths. Landon would out climb the other two, CT has more mass and strength and is actually good unlike Eric, and Evan... I'm not sure.
CT is quite a bit bigger than Evan, I remember on the first Duel when they were standing side-by-side when Evan called him out for the Duel that CT was a good 3 inches taller and a bit wider in the shoulders too.
I remember Kina was with Randy @ The RW awards bash, why did they break up?
I heard Randy cheated on her and now he has a different girlfriend.

I agree eggs, I think Evan would have a better shot at beating them in an elimination, but all three of these guys are crazy, so it could go either way.

Other than that, she expressed that Randy really is a different person when not showing off his "friendly good guy character" on RW and Challenges, so i guess him cheating on her is proof of that and she really took it bad. I think she even said that he broke her heart. It must've happened sometime after the Awards Bash since she was shown back then still with Randy and still a couple.
Wow Randy cheating? So Cara was right! I remember on Gauntlet 2 aftershow Cara said that Bard told her Randy likes to be with and look @ other girls.
This is unbelievable! Randy seems like such a great guy.

Will (Hollywood) had mentioned to me in private at the time that Randy was having a great time doing a spring break gig in Mexico with him. A great time! :devil2:
