buy the DVD online. Some people ripped it. I bought "Challenge 2000" and "Extreme Challenge" online. Amaya Vs. Veronica & Emily Vs. Julie was really interesting. Emily never really looked good on any of the challenges. She whined and complained a lot in "Extreme Challenge" which pretty much annoyed everybody on her team. This was also before her and James were together.
Do you remember where you got it online?
CJ and MJ are eerily similar IMO. Both use initials (with a J no less), both were NFL free agents, both have that blonde curly hair, and now both have the roman numerals of their RW season tattooed on their body. Oh and both annoy(ed) me on their seasons.
Which Challenges did he do? Is it the upcoming one? Where's info on that Challenge - i need info!!! Thanks :)
sheplay, MJ did The Gauntlet 2 & 3 (he was a replacement for Tyrie on G3) and The Duel 2 (came in along with Nehemiah as a replacement for CT and Adam). He is not on the next challenge. There is a post about The Ruins cast stickied on the RW/RR Challenge section of this forum.
I don't mind MJ on Challenges, but i hope that he does a Challenge for the first time in a long time in which he's not brought in as a replacement. Gauntlet 2 was so far the only Challenge he's done in which he came in from the very start. But on a more positive note, he did do very good in his other appearances. The only time in Gauntlet III where i really was suprised was when he lost to Frank in the Ankle Breaker elimination. Just from the concept alone, i was certain that MJ had it in the bag but then again, Derek was a pretty good physical competitor; even acknowleged as the "leader" of the Rookie team; and he got beat by Ryan in a puzzle. If it had been Ball Brawl, Ram It Home, or any other physical-type elimination, i'm sure Derek might've won. And thankfully, none of the Gauntlets there included climbing which as we saw on Duel 2, he REALLY needs to improve on.
Even though i'm not too fond of either of them, back in Inferno 2 when the whole Karamo vs. CT feud started, that was probably one of the few times i was in agreeance with CT. Karamo didn't wanna get in the water, complained about strategy being formulated for the dodgeball challenge, and once again uses the race card to defend himself. Obviously at that time, he still didn't learn fully to let go of his preconceived notions of how he's always victimized because he's black and being a huge hypocrite over interracial relationships since he condemns Landon and Shavonda being together, but later hooks up with a white guy named Ed, even Lando accused Karamo of hypocrisy in the confessionals when that happened. And honestly it's like CT said, "How can you come into a Challenge and NOT expect to get wet?!" Of course they are not friends nowadays and Karamo might have the race issue done with but he still talks a lot of smack he most probably could never back up like how he would love to come back to a Challenge and really represent, well either he lied and he always turns them down or they never offered him again. Seeing as how even in the Philly reunion, the others commented he switched his attitude when the cameras were rolling and said the opposite of what he said off the record before going on the air to film the reunion, that's more than enough reason to never invite Karamo back since he's basically a hypocritical racist liar whose best description came from Abe and i quote: "There are certain people who just don't deserve respect in life, and Karamo's one of them." Not to mention naming Derrick among the "punks" he doesn't like anymore after being eliminated, i believe Karamo and Derrick did have some friendly conversations in his final episodes and despite Derrick not saying goodbye to him, Derrick didn't disrespect him like CT and Abe did so he should've kept the punk list strictly to those two. And in closing, it's very sad that when Beth quit the only one who said goodbye to her, gave her a hug before getting in the van to the airport was him since even though he probably was being sincere, he's always been two-faced to know for sure.
I don't think what Abe and CT did to Karamo was disrespecting him at all. Karamo was the one who started smarting off to those guys first, saying they were weak for not wanting to put Landon in the Inferno. What did he expect to have happen? Like CT told him, he was the weakest guy on the team, so what right did he have to call anybody else on the team weak? They tried to work with him on that dodgeball challenge but Karamo wasn't going to give in and do anything they wanted because he "didn't feel like doing it." They tried to be team players to him but he just kept being an antagonistic little ***** about everything and they basically gave him a big "**** you" by not talking to him or saying goodbye to him.

He was even offered a lifejacket just so he could compete, but it was a no go for him either way and he nearly cost his team the win since his unwillingness to participate gave the Good Guys the first round win by default.

I think the Good Guys said that in exchange for sending him into the Inferno, Karamo had to throw the mission. I think that was mentioned on the post show for Inferno II (they didn't have a reunion... it was like how the **** they should've shown is set up).

In Gauntlet 2, the only deleted scene in those segments i felt like watching was the TJ/Syrus fight during the Derrick vs. Syrus Gauntlet elimination.

The only Bad ***** who said goodbye to him were Tina and Dan. On that note, i really wish Dan Renzi would come back to a Challenge. It's been a REALLY long time since Inferno 2, and his funny personality has always been praised by moi. But the last time i checked, he's now a reporter in one of the local Miami news channels so he doesn't need to come back. Who else didn't find it very funny when he did his proposal to Landon on the After Show hosted by Blair Herter, who is another funny guy who hasn't done any Challenges since his first in Battle of the Sexes. I believe he still works for MTV in the video game segments of the site.
Oh Blair! I miss him so. He was so funny on BotSexes! I wonder if they were ever to do another BotSeasons (it's a stretch, I know) if Blair would be asked from The Quest or Adam... Probably Adam since he did VR.

That's fine with me. I never cared much for him anyway. He was such a ***** on the first Gauntlet.
If they did a second Battle of the Seasons, i think Blair and Katie would be a good pair to represent The Quest since all duos from the seasons were boy/girl. But since they change things up in the sequels, they might change the gender rule. Jisela and Sophia i believe are done, as well as Steve. Sophia might come back if they represent the Hawaii season and Ruthie is included in that team since they were very close friends in Battle of the Sexes 2. She even cried when she had to inform Ruthie that she was voted out, that's true camaraderie right there. Jisela "quit" the last Challenge she was in due to work obligations and Steve doesn't seem to be in any hurry to come back. As for Ellen, she could come back as long as Puck ain't there but i heard she had a baby some time ago and she's dedicated to being a mom so probably no more for her.

So who actually likes Julie? Julie is edited to look so sweet on TV because thats what she gives them. All of the castmates hatred for her are stuff "behind the scenes" and out of the show. Like with the whole stealing money thing. I liked Julie before finding out about all this stuff, especially since she's edited well. "BUT SHE'S SO SWEET" - Mark. hahah i laughed when he said that.
Well, she DID almost get Veronica killed on the first Inferno mission by continually pulling on her safety harness even when everyone is yelling at her to stop doing that. And she can keep denying she wanted to kill her to this day, but i can't believe Julie didn't receive a penalty or a stern warning from production. For all intents and purposes, she should've. And she really is a sore loser as well as not concerned over someone's life since when Leah had to be taken to the hospital when she hyperventilated, everyone is expressing their hope that she gets better, but the Mormon ***** actually has the nerve to be the only one saying "this sucks because we had the lead". How depraved and cold do you have to be to say something like that when someone is being taken to the hospital in an ambulance due to a panic attack?!

Leah sucked, and to be honest, if she was continuously ruining challenges for me and then the one where you have it in the bag as long as the girl jumps - yet she has a panic attack(due to clinical anxiety or whatever she said her problem was) - I'd be ****** too. It may not be right, but she sucks. That's just me though..maybe I am cold hearted. Thankfully, the animosity and performances the challengers air to national viewers makes me think I am not in the cold hearted minority. Or maybe I just hate anyone else named Leah. It's my name. Mine!
This is just a random question? Who would you all want to see go head to head in an elimination round (duel, inferno, gauntlet) that we haven't seen yet or maybe some rematches. Mine is definitely Derrick vs. Wes in a rematch. I think Derrick would take him down the second round, but it would have to be in something different than pole wrestle, but at the sametime still be physical. Its just to me Derrick doesn't seem like the type of dude that would lose to the same person twice.

I think Wes could probably take Derrick once again in just about any elimination round (unless a specific strength came into light that I am unable to think of at the moment). I think Derrick's day of being so good came and gone. Personal opinion, ofcourse..and I would love for The Ruins to prove me wrong. I'd like to see Darrell versus Brad / Evan / Derrick / Wes in any type of elimination, preferably physical.

But I think the one I'd like to see the most is Evan vs. Wes. I think that would be epic if it happened! I would also be up for Darrel vs Wes/Evan/Brad and Derrick one on one.

What about Alton vs. C.T., that would be awesome too
Sorry for my ignorance, but when did Brad ever face Darrell in an elimination round?
Brad and Darrell never faced each other in an elimination round, but I would be up for a Brad vs. Darrell or Darrell vs. Wes,Evan and Derrick.
Evelyn vs. Wes!
Evelyn vs. Wes!
That reminds me of when guys vs. girls actully happened in elimination round like in the Inferno 1 Btw Evilyn by a mile lol
I'd like to see CT vs. Evan in something physical/strength related like Push Me, Pole Wrestle, Back Off, Push Over, Ankle Breaker, and that other gauntlet they had on G3 where they had to push that sled against each other.

I think things have changed alot since Duel 1 and I think Evan would have a better shot now.
