Lyndsey was only bad in the Hollywood reunion, she did a good job in all the other ones. I like Maria but she has a monotone voice.

Maria has done the best job as a host so far I think.
I miss Vanessa and Damien. :-(
Did he seem nice and friendly to you in that ad? I remember recently viewing a video of that ********* from Hollywood advertising for a big fashion event in his home town of Daytona Beach and he still used the word "peasant" as in "if you don't wanna look like a peasant, come down here and we'll give away free clothes and shoes". Two things i gather from that are 1. that ********* is still a high and mighty self proclaimed "perfection" and "the chosen one" (i thought Harry Potter was "the chosen one" this year), 2. he still regrets being on The Real World since he's in denial for it portrayed him as he really is despite him still considering himself cool in the ad and unsuprisingly, no other Hollywood housemate will be there in support of him.
Yeah he seemed pretty nice actually. I've heard from people who've met him, that he's actually a nice guy in real life. He's just edited as an *******.
They can't edit him calling everyone "peasents" and females "associates" if he never said it. If you act douchy then you will probibaly be edited douchy.

Whoopsy! Whenever I see the stars and bad editing I just assume its about him.
Thank you.:D I don't remember if he got the chance, but did Tyler from Key West get the chance to compete in the Olympics? He always said it was a lifelong dream, and even though he was usually annoying due to his constant bullying of Svetlana, one comical thing i liked about him was his huge obsession with ice skating sensation Michelle Kwan. In his official site, everytime he gets the chance, he mentions Michelle with positive commentary and adoration.
That's all I really liked about him as well from what I've seen of him on the shows - we are fans of figure skating - particularly Michelle Kwan - and gymnastics and the Olympics in general. Other than that, he was my least favorite RW person. Tyler has not competed in an Olympics. I don't really follow him, but I don't think it's likely for him to do so anytime soon. He is getting a bit old in age in terms of being a top competitive athlete (I think he swims?).

He did go to the 2008 games though...and I'm jealous. Your latest locations E.G Hollywood,Brooklyn,D.C,Cancun are making me wonder are you goin to go back to different regions Yall Havent Been to the midwest since chicago and to the south since kew west. I also see a pattern started in season 19 It Goes Abroad WEST NORTH ABROAD NORTH SO SEASON 24 MIGHT BE PHEONIX,TUSCON,PORTLAND WEST ABROAD-ROME,TORONTO BUT HOPEFULLY FINGERS CROSS WE GET RW 24 ONLINE CASTING IT JUST ALWAYS MAKE GOOD DRAMA HOPEFULLY WE CAN GET AN ASIAN MALE ON THIS ONE AND IT BE IN Atlanta Please Producers
I think the next one will be in a place that nobody would care about the show being there. Look at D.C. We know almost, if not, everything that has happened this season, before the show even airs. Just what I think though.
I am really hoping for Rome, Tuscany, Tokyo, Berlin or Milan.
Which season had the best job? I really liked watching the Denver job.
Which season had the best job? I really liked watching the Denver job.
My favorite would be the Sydney job. If i could find a job like that in which a winning team is rewarded with a trip to Europe, i'd give it my all especially since i've never been to any European country yet and actually experiencing the cities instead of seeing them all the time on tv and the internet would be sweet. My second favorite is the Austin job due to it heavily involving filmmaking. On another note about the jobs, i never thought i'd agree with that ********* from Hollywood on something, but like him i don't think Improv classes counts as a "job". More like a "school" to me. And since they were there to pursue entertainment opportunities and making connections on that, why do they really have to be obligated to "work" in learning improv?!

People think the midwest is boring which is why the RW doesn't come here all that often. There are several places that it could come to though (Nashville, KC, St. Louis, Houston, Dallas (if you consider Texas midwest- they're on central time)). I'm a bit surprised that they picked Key West over Orlando though.

I don't know much about Orlando though, but it seems they wouldn't have much to do but go to Disney World or Universal Studios. Heh. Can you imagine the castmates hitting up Downtown Disney for their hot spot? LOL
Orlando is one of the busier cities in Florida. There are nightclubs in Orlando. Plenty of concerts. Basketball games (Orlando Magic). Malls. Lots of sunshine, which is good for playing outdoor sports. Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida, which has the largest undergraduate population in the U.S. There was a reality show filmed there a few years back. Depending on how far they'd let them venture out, they could go to the beach, go surfing, sailing, etc (the coast is an hour or less away, depending where you live in Orlando). Lots of other little bodies of water, so they could go fishing and do other stuff. Lots of events come to Orlando. I'm sure the RWers could do what they do now on the shows just fine, but if they want to do more, they would have a lot of options. And all the theme parks (Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, Wet N Wild, etc) would provide extra entertainment. It has become a little area for people trying to break into the entertainment business as well. I think Orlando would make a great place for RW to be filmed.
I personally (having lived in Florida for 8 years) don't see Orlando at the top of any lists. Great place to visit, but if you go to Florida you don't want to be stuck inland! :D
What about Tampa? Is that a good enough city to hold up?
I lived in Orlando for four years (to go to UCF) and lived in Florida most of my life. Orlando is not too far from some beaches - Cocoa Beach, Playlinda, etc. Of course a lot depends on traffic! But I think it's doable. It seems they have let the RWers venture out a little in a recent season or two. But yeah, if they are concerned about proximity to a beach, for lots of beach scenes, Orlando would not be the top choice in Florida. I just can't believe they went to Key West during hurricane season. Who came up with that idea? People living in the Keys have to evacuate all the time!
I have cousins in Boca Raton. Its a nice place. Not for The Real World, though.
No, not Boca. It's kind of known for being a retirement area, though I don't think that's all there is to it. I had a relative living there as well, though I never visited. Tampa - I think it could be decent. I'm not too familiar with Tampa, but I think there would be similarities between filming there and filming in Orlando. BMP likes to cast in Tampa, it seems. They have Busch Gardens, sports teams, colleges, etc.
**** Cut The **** MtV/BMP Attlanta,Maui,Portland,Houston Come On Get It Together
They've already done a Hawaii season--I know that was on the Big Island but I doubt they'd go back just for a different island. I'm betting it's going to be either Atlanta or a season in Canada next.
Here's hoping some day they make a season in Alaska. Especially in any spot where it snows like rain out there. Their assigned job could be endorsing and/or selling warming jackets, gloves, hot drinks, and maybe even endorsing the idea that every single house should have a fireplace, no matter if it's a mansion or a small apartment.
They should do Real World St. Maarten. The cast could live in the Weston on the Dutch quarter. I stayed there for a week last summer and it was amazing! Night life is pretty cool. The French quarter is great but super expensive. The job could be working with charities for the poor because a lot of the island is in poverty.
I would LOVE to see a season set in Alaska. In fact, have a tie in and make them work on one of "The Deadliest Catch" boats.
Since this is the generic thread, I just want to ramble a sec. Brooklyn was the worst house EVER in RW IMO. The thing was laid out awkward and backwards, no inside stairs to the gym area, the furniture was ****, they had freaking rats and were set on that freaking smelly-butt river away from all the action in the City. Whoever sited that house should be keelhauled. The only thing good about that whole set was the art in the common areas.
