Yeah on Inferno 3, CT said he was tired of making it to the end and not getting any money and that he was going to get dirtier and dirtier until it happened. He's definitely been a different guy on his past three challenges, that's for sure, and all it's gotten him is kicked off twice and losing a final mission on a challenge in which his team should've easily won had they made the right choices.
I think that has a lot to do with it but I suspect that Miss Career First might have factored into it to as well. Nothing solid but just a hunch that it was a toxic relationship particularly for him. We all know that he protected her from elimination in the challenges. I know she talked a lot about how he helped her recover to her pre-cancer self yet she couldn't be there for him when his brother died. It seemed like a very one side relationship.
It think it's a combination of his brother's death, being away from the challenges and getting Diem out of his out of his system but not only does he look better and has a real job, his public apology to Adam was a step in the right direction.
I wonder if people would hate the fresh meat kids as much if thye had been on a season of real world or road rules
'
LOL, please lets not start that again.
I really do have to wonder since Beth and Mark are pretty much about the same age, why everybody still thinks Mark is cool even though he's 38 and Beth i think is already 40 or nearing there but with her you always get the stupid comment of "No grandmas on Challenges." It's a double edged sword and they should be aware that if by then you consider someone a "grandma" then why don't they just call dear old Mark "gramps" or "grandpa" unless you're too chauvinistic and/or egotistical to go with it?! Personally, i hate that most of the males at this point really think that getting rid of all the girls is what they have to do to win. Sure they'll keep the Fresh Meat girls and Paula, but if they truly had their way, anyone not on that list especially from past experience: Katie, Coral, Beth, Robin: would be gone without any remorse nor regret. The only time Johnny was actually right for once and not being a moron was when he strongly advised the team to get rid of Big Eazy but no one listened and look what happened.
Mark is actually in great shape, does well in the competitions, and acts like a normal, likable human being with the rest of the cast. Beth is heavy compared to the rest of the chicks, sucks at the competitions, and acts like an evil weirdo creeper all the time.
What is CT's real job?
From the looks of it, it looks like he's a personal trainer now. He must know what he's doing because he looked pretty fat in the face, neck and gut on the After Show and he's looking like a ripped beast now, and the After Show was filmed only back in April.

Oh that's pretty cool. CT has always looked in shape except when his brother passed away and he was dealing with it. It's funny that people point at CT on the Duel 2 and say how out of shape he was, yet he would have performed better then everyone there except sometimes Landon and sometimes Evan. But it's good that it seems like he's doing better. I personally want to see him again. Whether he's chill or a mean ********* I like it when he's on a challenge.

Heavy? Ahhhh so being a size 6, constitutes being heavy nowadays? Her character is supposed to be evil,. and she does a **** fine job playing the role. Creeper I don't think so.
Francid, amazing post.

I didn't think CT looked out of shape on the challenge, but the After Show was a different story. He had a bit of a pot belly and his face looked bloated. On the challenge he looked pretty well-muscled but in a different way than he was in the past. He was always muscular in a more leaner way before but on the Duel 2, it's like he went strictly for mass and skipped any cardio.

Thank you.:D
As for Beth's personal life, i'm glad she's married and i guess her hubby is perfectly ok with her creative if not as many have said "evil" personality on the shows. I wonder if he ever saw her on at least one of the Challenges before meeting her. I remember that Tonya said somewhere around the time Inferno 3 began that her husband had never seen any of the shows before meeting her or at least wasn't a huge fan of the whole thing, but much like Beth's beau, Tonya's beau must really be supportive and not a jealous guy since she did a softcore movie and you all remember how jealous Danny from Austin got everytime Melinda talked to some other guy. Even the Prince William comment got him riled up so i wouldn't expect Melinda to be doing any modeling on Beth's calendars anytime soon. The guy doesn't even get super excited when he and Mel won "Best Love Story", if the title had gone to Kelly Anne and Cohutta i'm sure they'd have been all over the place given the face Kelly Anne made when she realized she lost but win or lose, Cohutta's smile and happy presence was always more showing than Danny's. Back to Beth, the baby MUST be born by now since last time i checked her Myspace, it still said "Expecting" in the Children section. Guess she's keeping that on the down low (and she has every right to). If she ever comes back to a Challenge, i just hope she doesn't bring the kid with her since it doesn't bode well with people (Belou learned that the hard way in BOTSeasons and pregnant Gladys could've been a HUGE risk for the girls in BOTSexes 1, so good for them they cut her loose early).

People do bring up age when they're angry at Mark however. It's just not many opportunities present themselves to, since he seems like a very likable guy on that show.
As for Kina vs Ibis, Ibis matched up well on that sticky situation challenge in particular, but I think Kina's a harder competitor. I'm glad she made it through the entire challenge and won in the end.
X-Treme probably turned out the most amount of great challenge personalities. Derrick, Jodi, Kina, Ibis, and Jillian. That season easily had the best girl competitors on it ever. It's quite odd that Patrick who was sort of the alpha male on that cast never competed in a single challenge after.

Patrick said in an interview that he would never do a Challenge because he didn't like the way he was portrayed in X-Treme. I believe nowadays he's a dentist since he was studying to be one when he did the show and Ibis confirmed in an interview that he's the custodian of X, the little stray dog they found on the show. An interview of Jillian revealed that she's still mad and bitter all these years about her fling with Patrick, although i have yet to hear Patrick's retrospective thoughts about the showmance.

Yes, Patrick wrote on the MTV message boards back while X-Treme was airing, that NONE of the stuff going on with him and Jodi had happened and that it was just a fabrication (sort of like Dan and Holly on Challenge of 2000). He was pretty ****** off!

I think EVERYONE who's been alleged to have had some very close contact with Jodi has denied it and the list is long: Derrick (according to inside sources, she gave him oral), Mike the Miz (who only gave her the towel after she went skinny dipping in the pool but that's all that's been shown to happen on the record, Mike at that time was even alleged to have hooked up with Jamie but nothing shown onscreen, most likely off the record and away from cameras), Adam L., Alton, Mark Long (whose reaction to such an allegation in Gauntlet 2 was extreme: "I NEED TO GET OUT OF THE VAN, I NEED TO GET OUT!!!"), and Evan. In terms of Adam L. and Alton, a bitter Danny alleged that she gave oral to both team captains on the very first night, and since Adam L. was gone early, she had Alton to fall back on the rest of the Challenge.
I really wish Jamie had done more challenges, she was pretty capable at them. Plus I love anyone from the Philly/San Diego seasons.
Well she won the only challenge she did (which probably explains why she didn't ever return). Plus she's an actress now and is doing quite well apparently. I don't really blame her for not returning.
I miss The Miz. :(
The thing with The Miz is that I used to be kind of "eh" with him. I liked him on BotSeasons, but the Gauntlet is when I started to dislike him a little. Inferno he was cool again, but I felt like after that he was shoved down our throats (like how Evan is now). He seemed to be the narrator a lot of the time and I remember on Gauntlet 2 whenever they showed the flashback to Tonya throwing Beth's clothes in the pool, they'd always have to throw in The Miz saying, "Oh my god!" just so we could see him.
Now I miss him... He's in wrestling now though, isn't he?

I have to say, though, that during that whole Tonya/Beth debacle, my favorite part was Rachel coming in and going, "Tonya, it's floating! You have to make them go underwater!"

Haha mine too! You could tell she was wasted throughout that.
It was also pretty funny how Veronica, Rachel, Miz, and some other people all took a picture in front of the pool with all of the luggage in it.
Oh how I miss the olden days!
I felt so bad for Beth in that moment. If I were her I would've been sent home, LOL. I don't know why the cast finds her THAT bad, I think shes awesome!

General hating. She's the 20 year old in a room with a bunch of nine year olds playing on the counter, popping off at the mouth and breaking ***. Oh wait, that's my situation. Never mind.
Really you don't see what's annoying about Beth? Honestly I find her cackling grating just watching these shows, let alone having to put up with it in person. Also her inability to take any responsibility for anything is pretty bad, as well as her getting involved in other peoples drama outside these shows. It's mostly the cackling though... and that Mr. Burns finger plotting she does as well.
Even though i'm not too fond of either of them, back in Inferno 2 when the whole Karamo vs. CT feud started, that was probably one of the few times i was in agreeance with CT. Karamo didn't wanna get in the water, complained about strategy being formulated for the dodgeball challenge, and once again uses the race card to defend himself. Obviously at that time, he still didn't learn fully to let go of his preconceived notions of how he's always victimized because he's black and being a huge hypocrite over interracial relationships since he condemns Landon and Shavonda being together, but later hooks up with a white guy named Ed, even Lando accused Karamo of hypocrisy in the confessionals when that happened. And honestly it's like CT said, "How can you come into a Challenge and NOT expect to get wet?!" Of course they are not friends nowadays and Karamo might have the race issue done with but he still talks a lot of smack he most probably could never back up like how he would love to come back to a Challenge and really represent, well either he lied and he always turns them down or they never offered him again. Seeing as how even in the Philly reunion, the others commented he switched his attitude when the cameras were rolling and said the opposite of what he said off the record before going on the air to film the reunion, that's more than enough reason to never invite Karamo back since he's basically a hypocritical racist liar whose best description came from Abe and i quote: "There are certain people who just don't deserve respect in life, and Karamo's one of them." Not to mention naming Derrick among the "punks" he doesn't like anymore after being eliminated, i believe Karamo and Derrick did have some friendly conversations in his final episodes and despite Derrick not saying goodbye to him, Derrick didn't disrespect him like CT and Abe did so he should've kept the punk list strictly to those two. And in closing, it's very sad that when Beth quit the only one who said goodbye to her, gave her a hug before getting in the van to the airport was him since even though he probably was being sincere, he's always been two-faced to know for sure.
