I really want to watch "Road Rules: The Quest" to see Katie and Ellen.
That season was really good when Jisela was on it, which was a very short time. She brought all the drama. Katie didnt do anything and was really boring on there. Ellen carried the rest of the show but it just wasnt the same after Jisela left.
I've managed to "find" all of the challenges as far back as Battle of the Seasons, does anyone know where to go for ones before that?
buy the DVD online. Some people ripped it. I bought "Challenge 2000" and "Extreme Challenge" online.
Amaya Vs. Veronica & Emily Vs. Julie was really interesting. Emily never really looked good on any of the challenges. She whined and complained a lot in "Extreme Challenge" which pretty much annoyed everybody on her team. This was also before her and James were together.
I disagree. I could be wrong, but just going off the top of my head, I could name a few that I think perform better than Brad.
Jamie (RW New Orleans)
Adam L
Abram
Mike M (I'm terribly biased when it comes to him, so I could be way off on this one)
Derrick
And quite possibly
Timmy
Theo (RR)
Darrell
I'm not trying to downplay Brad's capabilites, but in terms of playing the game, I think the social aspect gets him further than his physical abilities. I'd put him very close to the middle. I love him as a person, but he's never done something to wow me.
Don't forget Evan.
Brad is a good competitor but he's not anything special. He's just a good guy though.

Yes, and Evan :) I was going to add both him and Wes to the list, but I figured that would restart the same argument and left it alone.
Evan isn't my favorite guy but there is no doubt that he is good. Without Landon, Evan won the Duel 2. If Evan hadn't gone against CT, and CT wasn't there, he would have won the first Duel, despite that I like other people more then him. The thing that sets him apart from a lot of the other players is he is smart missionwise, like with the jeep mission on G3. He reminds me of Abram, Abe is smart and came up with good strategies, as shown in I3. Evan and Abram are leaders. Just because you're very strong, CT Derrick Landon etc, doesn't make you a leader like Evan became on G3, Timmy I3, Abram I3.
I honestly don't think Evan is that good of a competitor.
Come on, lol. Evan and Coral won most of the missions on FM and he won most of the missions on D1. He was also a huge asset to his team on G3. On D2 although he didn't do too well in the missions, he was awesome in the duels. Basing on past challenges, I think Evan, Wes and Derrick will be the top 3 males on the Ruins.
Being a leader doesn't necessarily get you anywhere, and I am still a firm believe Evan would not beat Wes period.
I think he is good too, don't get me wrong, but honestly, he is made out to be so much more than he is.

I think Landon could be a leader. I looked at him and Alton as the leaders of the Blue Team on Gauntlet II.
They won most of the mission Fresh Meat, yes. And since Evan is so smart, he decided that he would wait to tell anyone about an injury that got him kicked off the show. :)
If he wa such a huge asset and leader on G3, he really would have made sure the one weak person went home. We all saw how that went.
Okay on D2, he seriously almost was beat by Davis and Nehemiah, so I don't see where that judgement comes from, and Derek couldn't even climb the wall. D2, he was nowhere near as good as he was previously.
Honestly, I am not saying this out of dislike, but he is not as good as people want to make him out to be at times. He has his really good moments, but his share of bad ones too.

I'm not sure if this was directed at me, but I never meant that Evan is better than Wes. I meant that they were both better than Brad. I agree that Wes would beat Evan. However, if there were some strategizing involved, that may not hold true. I haven't seen much from Wes in terms of making (good) strategies.
Oh gosh, not this again. Didn't we cover this on page 30 or 40? :D
Well, my thread is only 20 pages long, so I don't know what you're talking about :)
I guess it all depends on what they were doing. With something physical like Beach Brawl or Push Over etc, Evan has the raw size and strength over Wes. If it were running, I'm not exactly sure. I really do believe that if Derrick and Wes did Beach Brawl against each other rather then Pole Wrestle, Derrick would have won. Plus, Derrick wasn't in top shape in Duel 1 like he was prior to that, and on The Island. Evan I think is a better mission player, while Wes is a well rounded player, ok in missions and a little better in eliminations. I think Derrick is most feared in eliminations. (I brought Derrick in on the discussion cause I think these 3 guys are the best in the next challenge.) Derrick Dq'd a lot on Duel 1, but when it was something like wrestling, he won. His light weight does come at an advantage sometimes though, like the rope mission on I2.
I think Landon could be a leader. I looked at him and Alton as the leaders of the Blue Team on Gauntlet II.
I think that was only because they were the only ones good enough to be the leader. On I2 Miz was a leader on Landon's team, on I3 Timmy was the leader on Alton's team.
I don't think Evan has strength over Wes at all. Sure he has size. In that sense, you could have said Syrus was bigger and stronger when compared to Derrick but we saw how that turned out. Evan is better mission wise, agreed.

I agree. I think Wes is alot smarter than Evan (as evident on D1), but Evan is stronger. I guess we'll have to wait and see who's the best of the 3.
Honestly, I am a firm believe that someone stronger can still go home before someone weaker and it wouldn't make a difference.
I think Evan is very easy to crack and beat. I mean who has to try and cheat before a Duel?

He does tend to crack very easy under pressure. Doesn't seem to take much to psych him out before an elimination round.
I guess it's all opinion, which is okay. Evan did get played by Wes. I mean, who would agree to go in against CT?
As seen before, Evan has a tendency to lose his cool under pressure (especially in eliminations). I know CT was a feared competitor and I'm pretty sure Evan had to be scared of him, that he had to cheat. I think the only person who wouldn't have been scared to face CT on D1 was Derrick.

As I said before, people's personal opinions of him get in the way..

So does everyone else. Nobody is 100% perfect every time.

That's one of the things I really like about Derrick. He's one of the people who never is scared to face someone even if he is half their size. He had no problem wrestling Landon, Brad, Adam, Syrus, Ace, Davis, Wes, Johnny, beating Tyler. He did voice that he was a little nervous to go againt Abram but he psyched himself out and won that day.
Or is that just because you hate him?
Honestly TJ if I just said it isn't because I dislike him, why would you say that?
I am so sick of people who are always complaining about an issue, yet when somebody says anything that doesn't comply with anybody else's opinion, they are almost chatised for it.
Evan is not that great of a competitor to me, end of story. Done.

Because I am a firm believer that peoples personal opinions of people get in the way of seeing how truly good athletic wise anyone on these challenges are, especially anyone from the Fresh Meat cast.
And I'm not complaining about ****, I'm just not over-baised with any cast member.
Am I going to have to put you guys in Timeout?

We had this same argument two weeks ago. Nothing has changed. No minds were changed. None will change. Let's move on...
