Emilee is mine. Back off! Wait... She doesn't like girls. :(
I actually don't dislike this season. It's not as good as Hollywood or Brooklyn, but it's still good in my opinion.

Are you sure? Cause it didn't seem that way a few episodes ago. :D

OPD, believe me... If she were into girls, we'd be together. <3
Hawaii had to be the weirdest season. What were the casting directors smoking when they hired such an insane motley crew. Kaia (which wasn't even her real name) walked around topless the entire season. Teck was the most uber-friendly cast member ever. Ruthie almost died of alcohol poisoning and then DWI'ed. Justin thought he was smarter than everyone because he went to Harvard and tried to intentionally break up Amaya (who spent the whole season complaining) and Colin (who was perhaps the only normal cast member). Matt was like a ghost.
Anyone else agree? Other seasons don't seem to compare at all.
Sorry - didn't read many of the previous posts on this thread yet.
My top ten are:
1) Hawaii
2) San Diego
3) Austin
4) Las Vegas
5) Seattle
6) Denver
7) Boston
8) New Orleans
9) San Francisco
10) Hollywood
* Cancun might make it in there, not sure yet...
I'm ranking the eight seasons that I've seen all of:
1) Brooklyn
2) Cancun, thus far
3) Philadelphia
4) Hollywood (the second have was a regress to The Real Party World)
5) Denver
6) Key West
7) Sydney
8) Austin
None of them were bad to me, but Austin was a bit boring. Me missing part of it because of Katrina might have had something to do with it. Honorable mention: Vegas II.
*Nota Bene: I saw bits and pieces of New Orleans because I lived there at the time (born and raised), and I love watching anything New Orleans.
Just read through most of the postings...I'm surprised that people really didn't like the Austin season at all! I thought the Danny's mom episode is one of the most touching in all of RW.
I don't understand why people like B2NY and Brooklyn so much, I thought they were extremely boring - almost as bad as Paris...

I didn't think B2NY and Brooklyn were boring at all. They were very entertain IMO. They were the more serious seasons and people liked them because they dealt with real issues and were close to the original seasons. The people in those seasons had real goals too. I don't really know about Austin...
I don't think B2NY was boring. A lot of people liked brooklyn but I thought it was very dull.
IMO Brooklyn was different from the whole string of recent seasons like Key West, Denver and Sydney. It brought something new to the table. Although Hollywood was a "party season" like the few before it, it was also different. Hollywod casted people with "real goals" and not people who were there just for fun or partying. That's why I liked Hollywood and Brooklyn so much!
I can't rank all the seasons in order of my preference, but here's my top 10:
Miami
Back to NY
Boston
LA
Hollywood
San Diego
Hawaii
Sydney
New Orleans
Las Vegas

That makes sense. The group jobs were kind of ridiculous sometimes - spray tan in Key West?!
I feel you Dart. Miami only beat out B2NY for me by a close margin.
I just loved all the drama and personalities in Miami. I think it was the best casted season! You had the flamboyant gay, fiery Latina, *****y European, around the way black girl, Italian ladies man (even though he was short), frat boy and skater chick. Best cast hands down!
I do not think that Key West was a party season. I would campare that season to Hollywood. A lot of people do not like Key West but it is a favorite of mine.

Your top three are my top three as well (but I had BtNY and Boston switched around)!
On the topic of casting people with goals, I think there are plenty of cast members from seasons with group jobs that had goals or were doing something with themselves other than partying. The show format just didn't allow for them to focus on those things. Hollywood and Brooklyn cast members were allowed to focus more on their dreams (although they held the Hollywood members back a little with the Improv thing, IMO). Also, they had situations in which they were kind of set up with opportunities to focus on their careers (i.e. interviewing jobs, etc). Most of the people cast for these shows are college students, but they have to take time off because they'll be away for the three to five months of filming. I think the lure of speaking engagements/Spring Break/bar appearances, along with challenges and other TV/entertainment opportunities pull a lot of people away from what their path was before. Also, some of the things the Hollywood/Brooklyn cast members pursued were not as far off from some of the things other cast members have pursued after the show (music careers, hosting, modeling, etc).
