Then again, Jonna could have easily been one of those girls that walked away. To be honest, I think that was all editing right there.
And thats prob true... but I thought it would be more interesting if they had shown the girls being all nice and sweet to him... They all had made up the prev episode and it would have been a nice moment... lol
BUT im not an editor :/
I don't think they should want it gone completely. To be honest, when you sign up for this show, you sign up for the drama that entails too. They need to get used to the fact that their are clashing personalities and they will see conflict. Instead, it seems that Joey comes at it in a very immature manner. Now of course we don't see everything, but a way to solve a problem, is to hit it straight on in a mature manner. Not saying Ayiiia was totally mature, but doesn't seem to sit there and be shady.

The thing I like about Jonna is that she seems pretty laid back, and like she has alot of confidence in herself so she stays out of the drama for the most part. And I LOVE her style :)

Very true. Its not like they havent seen the show before. But from what I saw, in the begining Joey was just trying to get to knw everyone and right off the bat Aiiya seemed rude. He even talked to one of the guys and said he doesnt like it when ppl dont get along with him. And when everyone was listening to his bands CD and loving it, she came up and was just like eww thats too loud. And for most ppl their music is an expression of themselves and are pretty insecure about it. I just thought it was uncalled for. He isnt innocent, Yes the spitting on the taco... TERRIBLE! I was cringing when he did that. And it wasnt that mature to go out and sing to them, but I thought that was hilarious! It would have been hard for me to stay mad at him. But then they scratched his CD which was AWFUL and didnt care at all when they found out about his guitar. i dont think he was being shady...
I don't think the girls walked away upon hearing about Joey's loss, it seems they were already going away when Joey told everyone so they didn't hear...
Yeah, I don't think the girls walked away. I just don't think they were near him when he told the others.
Plus, I think there's even a daily with Ayiiia drawing on that etch-a-sketch saying how much she misses Joey.
I pride myself on being such a RW fan that I watch every episode of every season - but Cancun is making this VERY difficult. I cant remember a season so bad since London all the way back in Season 4!! I absolutely cannot relate to these people - the only one I can even tolerate is Bronne because he is funny - albeit in a bad Issaic rip-off way. This doesnt feel like "The Real World" it feels like I'm watching "The Hills" or some other cheesy show that owes its stupid existence to TRW. The only reason now for me to watch is the drama - and it looks like next week might deliver. Even then, I am so far removed from it because I don't care about either of the castmates involved - so I have no stake in the outcome whatsoever. Sorry guys I know alot of you like this season, but coming off of a phenominal season like Brooklyn I feel really let down. *End Rant*
The CD Ayiiia scratch was her copy no one else. He gave every castmember a CD, and he had extra. You see how editing makes someone look bad....that was Ayiiia CD...that was her property.
Ayiiia was honest with Joey, and just be civil with him. Yet he went around talking about her, and telling her to shut up. He then burned her with a cigarette, so she threw the whole herpes on your lips comment.
Now he just wants to create drama, when the whole house is getting along...I hope Ayiiia destroys the house, or at least make some of her rommies fear her, so they can stop attacking her....team Ayiiia.

Why would you want to make your roommates fear you? I would never want someone I live with to be afraid of me. That's ridiculous.

That is ridiculous and I agree with you, but in the same line of thought, why would you want to send someone home?

I never said that. If your ever in that situation, you might think differently.

Nah, I could seriously hate them and still wouldn't to rob them of the experience. To me it is selfish. But I guess we will see how it unfolds.
what I meant by fear is letting them know, don't mess with me or I will go psycho. If a bully is attacking a kid, and the kid stands up for himself, most likely the bully will stop. Now I'm not saying physical is the way, I think being physical is wrong, but it's really hard when you have someone, screaming in your face saying, "hit me go ahead hit me." It's sad, but our animal side leaves the cage once in a while...no matter how hard you try to hold it in.
i agreee tooo.
Joey makes it so hard to like him he is up and down
Jasmine and emilee are cool but tend to team up
CJ shows a kinda different side of him on episode 5 by the looks of it
Jonna,Bronne and Derek are just neutral and having fun
Ayiiia one of the best and most real castmembers she has a voice and whether or not anybody cares what she says is what she thinks. yeah maybe she was out of line about the adoption comment but in the heat of the moment anything can happen. i seriously cannot wait to see her on a challlenge and kick ***.

that is crazyyy they make it seem way worse hah
Hi. :) Long-time lurker, first time poster.
I read through the Spoilers and Speculation thread and a little bit of this one, and I'm officially on Team Aiiiya. I plan to audition for The Real World in a couple of years, and in the freak possibility that I do make it, I fully expect(ed) to be portrayed a certain way, just like any TV show.
Based on some of the things I've read, Aiiiya has grown on me and is definitely getting the short end of the proverbial 'stick' because we see her attacking people, when in all actuality, she's defending herself. This makes me think about Jen Johnson on Big Brother 8, but that's off topic.
I'm just ready to see what actually goes down next week because while I can relate to Aiiiya (bottling things up for so long until you just snap...though I'm yet to snap), I'm ready to see what actually triggered it. One can only be the bigger person for so long.
When did he BURN her?? I'm pretty sure he would have gotten kicked off for that
This question has been answered more than once.
nice.... that really clears it up. thanks so much for the answer.
What I think they meant to say was that this incident wasn't aired on the show, but in the dailies.
(And I could be wrong because I didn't see it happen either way, but someone mentioned it a few pages back.) ;)

I really do find it hard to believe that the producers wouldnt kick someone off for BURNING someone. thats assault. if anything it had to have been a complete accident... but whatev, i wasnt there sooo yeah... yay for reality tv
I just have one more thing to say.... I <3 Joey
He didn't actually burn her. He threw a lit cigarette at her back as she walked away. If she had pushed the issue with the producers she probibaly could have gotten him sent home.
Remember Real World: Brooklyn? Katelyn hit Scott when they were in Gettysburg at the AIDs Convention. She elbowed him right in the shoulder, did she get sent home? I think it's only when you seriously attack them and put them in danger like The Duel 2 with CT and Adam.

You're right, it was answered by TJ on page 19. I just think the forum as a whole would benefit if people would read through the threads.

The helpful way, however, would be to possibly provide a link or post number. For example, I only have 3 pages @ 80 posts per page, so you saying page 19 doesn't help. I know it might be a pain in the butt, but it's nice to do.
Plus, some people are just "too bothered" to read through the threads...;)

That's true, and I apologize. I'll quote the post next time, and hopefully that will be more helpful.
Wow, all i can say is wow about this whole season, it is actually the first one i have watched all the way through, i think its because i just came of age to actually care, but i have to say it is a good one to start with.
I start with emilee and jasmine because they seem to be the same person as of now, they seem cool enough havent heard alot from them so i dont think i can form a proper opinion of who they are. And Jasmine and pat r so cute together.
CJ, something about him just seems to rub me wrong and hes about the only one in the house that does that to me, i hated the way he kept looking at hisself in the mirror, he seems to be all bronze and no brains.
Jonna and Derek. I love derek this episode he seemed to really open up and im glad he found love in Cancun he deserved it after what his ex did. Jonna havent seen alot from her shes pretty i know that much but it seems like people focus to much on her looks and not enough on her as a person, she seems cool enough though, just wish there was something that could define her personality.
Bronne funny as crap, he definetly livens up the house and i think mtv should focus more on him and jonna and jasmine after next weeks episode im tired of the same ol' people.
Joey, i felt bad for him this episode but he defintely made it hard with his comments he treats women like they are a piece of meat, and the comment about he's coming back a bigger a hole than he already is, (i dont think thats what he actually said but close enough), what is the point of coming back and stirring up drama. He and CJ are just looking for something to start with ayiiia even if she did something wrong or not something was going to jump off cuz when you look for trouble you usually find it.
Ayiiia what can i say about her that hasnt already been said she is prolly the realest person i have ever seen, and sometimes that can get you in trouble but atleast you can look back on your life and know that there was never any doubt that people knew what you believed in. I really liked how she apologized to emilee for that comment that showed alot of maturity.
For next weeks episode i personally dont think that anybody who claims to be a man should talk to a women like they do no matter what she did, that being said i guess they can only take so much of ayiiia mistreatment in their mind
