Thanks Wiggy. Something tells me I will like Erika. Maybe it is the amount of info we have on her already.
You probably will. You always like the girls more than the guys. :D

Yeah. Always have. In these environments, they tend to grow more and be more entertaining.
Not to mention she is gorgeous!
Just saw this e-mail in my inbox... I totally should have checked through my 2000 messages yesterday:
Hey,
I know a girl that made it through to the final interview, she looks like one of the girls that was seen moving in... Her name is Erika and she is in a band called "A Quiet Capture"
Thought you may like to know...
4. Guy with tattoos from Philadelphia
This guy's name is JOSH
Updated, thanks Wiggy. Although I think I like "Philly" better :D
On one of the blogs, one of the comments says Erika and Josh look like Angela and Ricky from the TV show "My So Called Life". *****.
And Dart, I prefer the guys, I lived with all girls my whole entire life I couldn't stand it. Women are catty.
Here is an interesting video of one of our Vevmoers and a ******* cameraman...
What a *******. That was not funny.
WUSA-TV (the news team trying to do the interview) didn't find it very funny either, and are doing a story on it tonight at 11pm.

I'm not sure that the MTV Cameraman did himself much of a favor interfering in the CBS News interview. This wasn't just some blogger, it was a TV reporter for WUSA-9, the CBS Affiliate for the Nation's Capital. This story will air tonight at 11pm on http://www.wusa9.com
Mind you, they were all standing out in public for this. I'm not sure why the MTV Camera guy had to try to block her interview. This kind of behavior will definitely result in more negativity toward the MTV crews.
Thats somebody from Vevmo?
Yes, a new member who has been providing us with lots of information and pictures regarding the DC cast.

I agree. I wasn't exactly sure what the heck he was getting at, but it seemed unnecessary.
I really don't get why you would try to block a local news crew? If anything wouldn't you want to work with them to get good publicity out and hope that it would help the city to embrace your project? I can understand trying to ward off "fans" hanging around the house who might run up and knock on doors, or yell at the cast, but to do that to a news crew doing a story about the house, which could be very positive for RW, makes no sense to me.

You'd best believe that if somebody else blocked the MTV shots one of the body guards would overstep his authority and cause there to be a need for the police to be called by trying to manhandle whoever blocks MTV's shot.
I wonder how she will handle the story this evening. Not smart MTV... Not smart.
Remember: YOU ARE A GUEST IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.... your cast and your crew should act as such.
FYI: There might be a bit of drama unfolding behind the scenes. It would appear that somebody who is following the RWers may pose a security threat. I don't want to release more on this yet, so as not to implicate the innocent....but, if it warrants, more info to follow.

Wow, not good.
Here's the appropriate subtext for the video of MTV interrupting CBS interview.
Thursday July 2, 2009 was move-in day for the cast of "The Real World: DC". As the cast arrived at the house a number of on-lookers snapped photographs and shouted. At approximately 5:00 PM EDT WUSA-TV reporter Lindsey Mastis was interviewing Real World fan Martin Mongillo on the corner of 20th & S St NW in Washington, DC. Camera staff from MTV's production company attempted to interrupt the video by inserting themselves between the reporter and the subject. Photography by Mike Sica.
FOX 5 (WTTG-TV) did a story on the Real World DC Cast arrival.
I wonder, has any cast in previous years gotten this much exposure? I bet MTV is LIVING for this exposure.. They should be... For a show that (arguably) lost its relevance years ago, I believe we here in the Blogosphere and Twitterverse have generated so much buzz that it's being covered by all the media outlets... That can't but create anticipation for the DC season... Ideas??
I bet MTV is LIVING for this exposure
Sadly they are not. MTV is only involved at an executive level. BMP is doing everything they can to quiet things. They have not caught on to new media. They use extensions to do their "dirty work" but their hearts are not in it. Although, I do get a kick out of the number of unique IPs coming here from BMP daily. Clearly interns that don't get a say...
When this finally hits the screen in Jan/Feb of 2010 - all this buzz will be squandered. That is their legacy.
So at first you might think it's the same video from earlier, but about 1:03 in, it continues to show exactly how bad the MTV Cameraman ended up being. Not cute!
