I still hold my opinion about [RW episode edit] Derek being a possible backstabber and a faker . However, I will give it a few more episodes then I MIGHT change my opinion about it. Afterall, the nice ones are the ones you can't trust. In my experience, the nice ones are usually turncoats.
Side Note: I understand that Derek is a member here, but I'm simply referring to his "character" on the show.

I don't think we have seen enough to define someone's character on a show. Maybe a few cast members but not Derek.
I really don't understand why the cast members constantly blame editing for everything. I believe that they should monitor what they do/say and stop making excuses for their behavior. In addition, I have seen no evidence of BMP forcing the cast members to do anything. Everyone has the ability to control their own actions and people should only blame themselves. What if everyone in blamed God's editing for everything in life? Would that make sense? No. So why should it make sense in the world of reality tv?

You weren't there so how exactly do you know what is and what isn't editing? I don't think they are making excuses, they are just telling their side of the story.
My issue is that these people know what they're signing up for so why are they constantly complaining and whining about what THEY DID during the course of production? I'm sure that these cast members were fully aware of the editing that goes into the show so that isn't an acceptable excuse. Furthermore, each of these cast members should have the ability to contemplate the repercussions of their behavior before they actually do it. For example, if cast member A does not want BMP to show them stumbling down the street in a drunken stupor then they should not have gotten drunk.
Excuses only build monuments of nothingness.

If people did not make mistakes how would they learn to grow as an individual? We get your point, but coming on here and calling them all whiners and complainers is not going to help this case.
Like they have all stated this season is about actions, repercussions and growing from the situations they have been in.

I don't see anyone complaining yet. BMP likes to leave out bits and pieces of the story, and that is EDITING. Regardless, you weren't there so you wouldn't know if it was editing or not.

My parents always taught me that mistakes should never occur if you weigh your options and analyze your choices before you actually make them. Personal growth comes from preventative attitudes rather than attitude fixes along the way. Mistakes are simply intentional acts shrouded in excuses. This is exactly why I have no pity on these people.

I do not believe that there is a pre-requisite of pity. And good for your parents I'm glad they taught you well.

Is this serious? You are joking...you have to be!

Well yeah, they are the ones that edit the show...they can edit out whatever they want. Of course you wouldn't see any evidence of it.
I'm surprised that the one viewpoint you get from Derek through two episodes is the exact opposite of everyone else's. We are watching the same show, are we not?
It seems as though whenever cast members whine about editing, they simply want a pity party. Well, I am not going to host one for any of them. They should look elsewhere for that.

Great, why are you here? No one is throwing a pity party for them.

Yes, we are watching the same episode. However, I tend to be a little more analytical than most people.

I don't know if analytical is the word I was searching for...
I loved the way Emilee shut Derek out of her conversation with Ayiia. That was the best part of the episode. If he was so neutral, why did he make it his business to involve himself in a dispute that had nothing to do with him. So much for him being nice. Imo, that just screamed "I want camera time". Why couldn't BMP cast a latino male that doesn't fit the common gay male drama-queen stereotype and actually acts like a regular Latino guy? Once again, I'm not attacking Derek personally, but just making a point.

Did you even read his blog?
Next week looks really interesting though. Ayiia and Emilee are both wonderful girls and I wasn't expecting for there to be drama between them. it's a shame since they were getting along so well this episode.
Is there a thread for next week's episode?
Not yet, and please check your private messages and reply to let me know you read it.
