Coming from a guy, Emilee had every right to be upset about the way Joey was arguing with her about Hooter's. Granted, he probably didn't realize he was getting on her nerves, but still.
I see a lot of people saying they don't like her attitude so far.. I just say give it a chance. She's a really sweet girl.
All Joey really said was the typical stereotype people have about Hooters so i don't think he said anything rude or outrageous about her job. But dont worry, im not going to hate her all season just for that. She just rubbed me the wrong way in episode 1 is all. Who knows, she may be my favorite when the season is over.
The cast kicks ***. But I haven't met two of the girls yet. Joey and I are friends from back home. He worked at my favorite TGI Friday's lol.
Check this video out of us from last week. YouTube - Scott & Joe: When keepin it real goes wrong
Joey... you********! Wait, you probably already did.. I hope they gave you your own hotel room! haha
I happen to have enjoyed the cast and premiere. Emilee does seem a bit insecure and like a complainer.
Bronne reminds me of Isaac. Funny and carefree.
I liked Joey, he seems pretty cool. You can tell he is going to bring drama. He seems like the older brother type who likes to poke fun at people, but doesn't really mean it. He likes to get a rise out of people. I like it, I like it a lot.
And Jonna, very hot :)
No way? I am going to have to rewatch to see if she was wearing a College Dropout shirt because that would be hilarious.
So was it, I wasn't sure?
CrazyRealityGuy, I was thinking the same thing, Bronne reminded me of Isaac as well. They have a similar sense of humor it seems.
Can someone help me out and explain why people are complaining about the opening? What's wrong with it? It's just like all the other Real World's that I remember, just different scenery and people. :unknw:
P.S. I <3 Bronne

Which is perfectly fine, because your right it is the typical stereotype. But I mean she was obviously trying to explain that its different than what people think.. and since she works there, she would know better than anyone else. And he kept pushing it and dismissing her view. Again, he probably was just thinking it was funny and not intentionally trying to start something, but who knows.
Joey kind of reminds me of Puck for some reason. Espescially in the sneak peek preview for next week when he said "I just wanna spit in her face man..", talking about Ayiiia.
It was a College Dropout shirt!
TJ doesn't Bronne remind you of Isaac??? They have the same sense of humor :) Classic making out with a mother.
Yes, he does. :)
Joey kind of reminds me of a straight Tyler for starting drama.
I do not see that at all... :unknw:
I do agree about Bronne and Isaac though.
I didn't think I was going to watch it, but since I had an hour to kill and didn't want to watch The Notebook for the 20th time this month I decided to tune in. Have to admit to being pleasantly surprised though I'm still ultimately skeptical. People will undoubtedly compare it to Vegas (especially with the hotel angle) but it actually kind of reminded me more of Miami, which is one of my favorite "skanky but in a funny way" seasons.
Everyone seems likeable thus far so that's good. My favs are Ayiiia/Jasmine (the etch a sketch Joey *** reenactment was pretty funny) and Bronne. I'd like to see more of Derek, hope that since they are sticking with the 8 housemate format they don't pull another Baya move. I like Jonna, for some reason she looks like a Rock of Love version of Rhianna to me. She seems faithful, hope it stays that way.
CJ definitely was running game with the whole get her to break up with me so I don't look like an a** when I cheat on her move, which I think his gf totally caught on to. I was laughing at the slow mmmm hmmm response and him saying "good so that's settled" I don't know if he was that oblivious or if it was classic avoidance. I wonder if that was his kid he was playing with in the intro by the way. I think unless you're John Starks, there isn't a great chance you've got a bright sports career ahead of you if you weren't drafted straight out of college, and it won't be helped by spooning, getting drunk and cornrolled up in Cancun either, but I guess it's great to have dreams. Hope there's a plan b though.
Joey seems funny and interesting thus far, but I didn't see the spitting in the food thing so we'll see. For someone that comes off so spontaneous he seems remarkably goal orientated, to declare you want to be the first one to get a** in the house and then follow through on that, seems to demonstrate he has a purpose driven life. I admire that, I totally think he's going to achieve his goal of singing to 1000 screaming teenagers. He also seems to actually be pretty gifted on the guitar, better than past "musicians" on the show.
So far I'm still watching, we'll see after taco-gate.
did you guys notice that the castmembers had alot of things in common.that was cool
but they were too friendly lol the real world needs drama to live lol this season seems
so ******* and i cant wait for the ruins and the real world washington!!!!!!!!
oh and i had a question for anyone if the challenge is most likely airing after cancun that means
that another real world is after????

They aren't rushing them, but they are definitely filming them consecutively. One after the other. V1 has explained their philosophy on this.
By the way, Jonna's promise piercing looked painful.

Love 6 of the 8 so far! Anyone notice that the table where they first met in the beginning had only 7 placemats. Obviously trying to trick them. Does it bother anyone else that 2 sets of people already know each other? And Derek doesnt seem like the typical drama starting gay guy they usually cast. He seems cool
I don't know. Maybe I am just a little too hardcore on the fact that it is supposed to be 7 strangers, now 8 strangers, but it's okay, because I like them.
well one set of people knew eachother the other were more of aquaintances.
The peircing looked painful... She wants to start a new trend.. I am not sure if that is going to pick up
And Derek doesnt seem like the typical drama starting gay guy they usually cast. He seems cool
Hmmm.......I don't know. He didn't hesitate to call his "friend" ****** at the first given opportunity. It reminded me a lot of when J.D. confirmed Katelyn's transexuality while hanging out with "the guys".
The similarity of the two scenarios is uncanny: A gay guy gives into gossip to forge a bond with a group of straight guys at an innocent person's expense. Lame.

I actually think it's pretty neat. Although I'd worry about snagging it on something and ripping it out!

My sentiments exactly.
I think her relationship is cute though. Too bad they are already hinting at a possible storyline.
