That pic is awesome ! The Ruins sound some what cool. I wonder what the elimination round is called.
Considering she's a rookie I'm glad Sarah stuck it out all the way through. Sarah ily !

How can you "genuinely" dislike someone that you do not "genuinely" know?

What's to dislike? And she is tough as all hell, no surprise here.
since this challenge is called the ruins, i decided to make my own picture for it...enjoy =]

Finally, at least they got something right .............. based on the results imo, the name speaks for itself. If the teams are broken as speculated, then this by far will either the be the most lopsided or most shocking final in the history of the challenges. I wouldn't bet a wooden nickel on the latter.
I bet Blanky. I do not want to know anything more than the Departed List. I feel the elimination rounds, like who vs. who, and the drama, will be great, so I really do not want to know that stuff.
I feel like there is going to be a lot of drama.
I think it could be fair still Darock. We don't know the final Challenge.
As much as I love the RR/RW Challenges, I don't know if I have it in me to even subject myself to the potential outcome. While we don't know the Final, we know that something weird had to happen for the J/K/E/D click to outlast all of the strength that was there. Casey being the last elimination outlasting the likes of Evelyn, Tonya, Diem, Katie, Johanna, and Kim. Sorry for my disdain, but I call "uso" - Japanese for BS on that!
If Brad and Darrell fought, I wonder what was the catalyst - or what outside influence manipulated. Sure I could build a selling point to watch this challenge, consider all the past drama generated from past shows and look for sparks amongst certain people, I could dog that SOB (the face off battles), OR I could spend just as much energy spending my Wednesday evenings watching Sanford and Son reruns. I think I'd be a hell of alot happier and less disappointed with the latter.
I am curious to see the element of the game that is speculated above me. I am still shocked that Diem was the first girl to go home. Maybe something occurs where whoever does the worst on the daily challenge(if there is one) automatically goes into the "elimination round" or whatnot. Diem is a very likable girl, and I cannot imagine the motive for her departure first.
Plus, Casey lasted real long. Why? Maybe people kept her around because they know how awful she was. It doesn't seem to make much sense, because she is a weak competitor and anyone to challenge her at an elimination is basically guaranteed a win.
Maybe the eliminations are picked from the other team a la Inferno II, which would explain Casey staying (she holds her team back, lol). It wouldn't explain JEKD staying there, however.
All of my speculation is entirely wrong and probably shares zero correlation with the elements of The Ruins. Still fun to speculate though ;)
True LC. There is obviously something completely different, because why would they choose Diem to go first, but not a strong guy to accompany her? There is an interesting element, and I can't wait for the show to come.
i'm shocked and disspointed Sarah made it this far. i genuinly dislike her
Sarah seems cool and should be commended for getting this far on her first try, that is a rarity for first challenge people. I think it is strange to "genuinely" dislike someone from these shows when most of us don't actually know them. We may dislike their persona's or edit/storylines, but we don't know how they really are.
Having said that, I don't care who wins at this point I am just happy Susie made it to the finals! She always plays a good social game and I'm sure she had to have gone in to an elimination at least once and proven herself. For the girl with the oldest season she did pretty well.
I may be a lone Casey lover, but she made it farther than she has since Fresh Meat, so good for her!
I agree Kellerz. Susie is the oldest one there, along with Syrus. She is amazing, and I am shocked that she is the Vet that made it, but she is an amazing competitor and smart. I have a feeling at the end she was the one who took out Kim and Casey.
How old is Susie? she really doesnt look that old at all.
I'm still curious about the Tonya elimination. Someone asked earlier why there are more guys in the final than girls and that is a good question because Shauvon did get injured and left, and I believe that one of Darrell and Brad was eliminated in a face-off and then the fight happened between the two, so that would even things up, so that means that something happened with Tonya, im just really doubting there was a "twist"

She was 18 on her Road Rules, which aired in summer of 1998, and probably filmed in 97. So given that, 30 or maybe 31? I was crazy obsessed with those RW and RR seasons back then, back when I was a young adolescent, which is probably a good indication of who is MTV's main audience now.
Sorry to bring up the "order" situation again but... I really think Evelyn left with Nick and Shauvon being the extra elimination. This clears up the extra guys situation.

Why does it even matter?
It doesn't. It's just that there have been huge amounts of speculation over it.
True.. It will never be told to us.. It's not really that important. Things like the final challenge is better =)
Susie is 30 years old.
I would love it if they made it so that the person who does the best is exempt.
As far as I know, Susie is 29 years old and will be turning 30 later this year.

Damn I tought Susie was older. She's not that much older than some of the other Castmembers that do challenges.
