There is hope...I don't think they would have been put them in the house (O'Horror) had the vote not accepted them back.
At least that's my tortured logic.
(Well, that and NBC has to have them return or this show will probably get canceled mid run being it is bleeding 20%+ a night with not that much further to fall.)

Do people actually like the show, or watch it for convenience?
You can tell production is begging Heidi and Spencer to stay. They should have been on a plane, flying back to the hills, a while ago. They are probably getting special treatment.
They don't want to be there, the other castmembers don't want them there and the show isn't even good with them on it (even though they are the best part of the show, which, in itself, is sad) send them home. It's getting annoying.
They tried to bring the show back in 2003 and it failed miserably, why do they think it will be a success now? Maybe they were banking on Frangela or Sanjaya!
I think Speidi stayed on the island, because no one is reporting them returning yet.....I swear I'm going to vote like I did for Allison on American Idol LOL.....vote like crazy....those two need to be on this show.
Without them there will be no show, ratings wise.. With them, it might limp along.
I wish everyone could have seen this show concept when it originally aired in the UK. It was brilliant and the cast was first rate.

One question: When did Rod Blagojevich's wife, Pattie become famous? It just shows how downhill the "celebrities" have gone. I laughed when they announced her name.
This is a conversation I had with someone:
Me: "You know Blagojevich"
Friend: "no"
Me: "Illinois governor"
Friend: "Oh yeah, he's on it? He's not famous"
Me: "no not him, his wife is on it"
We both laughed hysterically.
I wish I would have seen the UK version, I heard it has done very well.
Isn't the UK version where Jordan (Katie Price) and Peter met and "fell in love" LOL
I wish I had seen a version of this that really utilizes the full potential of the show...

The one I saw when I was in London was during 2004, if I recall correctly. It aired at the same time as Back to Reality whose cast also included Sarah Kozer, the runner up from the US Joe Millionaire.
