RW/RR Challenge: The Ruins - Spoilers & Speculation

I find Kenny somewhat amusing because I think a lot of he antics (as far as his looks are concerned) are meant as tongue in cheek comments. I don't see why people take him serious. And as for Johnny, I don't remember Johnny ever acting before the way he acted on the Island. He was out of line a lot of the time on what was shown. I'm not excusing his behavior but I wonder how much editing played on what was shown. Hopefully, he looked at his behavior and learned from it. We'll see............ Derrick has always been one of my favorites even when he was falling down drunk on past challenges. I guess sometimes I saw him as a tragic person and I have always had a soft spot for him. I am so glad that he has started a family and seems to have cleaned up his act.

I don't know why Dunbar has lasted so long but I have to give him credit if he went into a challenge or two and outlasted the other person. Can't say I'm a fan of his.

I don't think it should be called JEKD because Derrick isn't a jerk like JEK. He's in the alliance, but he is a lot better then the other 3. Only cool remaining guy on this challenge.

I haven't heard anything in the last few days about cast member sightings at LAX or elsewhere as I normally do and I am starting to wonder if the cast is now just staying on location waiting for the wrap party being filming is scheduled to conclude within the next week. Duel II spoiler: [spoiler]Tori and Diem, when eliminated from the Duel II[/spoiler] stayed around (did some sight seeing) and it is very possible we are far enough along that the remaining cast members might return in an indistinguishable block at the very end. I am going to continue to keep my eyes open, but we could be heading to the point in the search where sightings no longer hold value.

If I remember correctly with The Island (and I am sure someone smarter than me can come along and correct this statement should it be afoul) - upon departure the cast was given round trip tickets with the end date of production as their return flight and then production would just pay the change fee and ship them home when they were eliminated. With that premise, if it is only a week before that date, why not experience the beauties of the region where you are and then just go home as scheduled saving BMP the cost of the change? Seems like it is a viable option and probably what at least a few of the cast members will do (which of course makes my job of aggregating return sightings [strike]impossible[/strike] challenging.)

Hey guys, I know that on this challenge that the cast is allowed Internet access. But Dunbar last logged in his myspace account on 4/24, and today (5/30) he logged in. He hasn't been logged in for a long time and maybe he just didn't want to use Internet access on the challenge. Do you guys think this may be a possibility that he got eliminated?

How many eliminations are left?

4 eliminations were left after the whole Brad/Darrel thing, but those eliminations may be done with by now.

Well I guess you were right. Dunbar accepted my request. and Dunbar seems to be close with KellyAnne, Cohutta, and Kenny. They are pretty high up on his top friends.

But I am surprised that he's close with Kenny, after what happened on the Island. Maybe he's over it. Anyway the reason I think Dunbar is gone, is because that is the same way I figured Cohutta was gone. Cohutta last logged in his myspace on 4/27 then he logged in on 5/26. Thats when I figured he probably got eliminated. Then B posted the next day that he was gone. So it is possible that Dummy Bear is gone.

I know that some of the others are using the Internet, too, but are smart enough not to log on to myspace which can show the last log-on date, or to comment openly on facebook. Messages to family and business associates have continued unabated. FYI: The 4 spots removed represented a simple posting error made by a momentarily delusional moderator who was updating B's list.

The posting error was not related to a name, but rather to numbers, e.g., "21. 22. 23. 24" which were simply copied from a list of everyone on the challenge.

All of this specualtion is making my head hurt, I haven't been on Vevmo for a while because I have been trying to stay away from spoilers. The remaining ppl there are probably the ppl that are gonna be in the finals. I just wait for Bacchus to confirm things about the challenge because everyone is assuming things and half the time it doesn't make sense.
