Yea, it must be a pain for someone like Johanna who comes from the UK to a challenge for low pay.
Johanna lives overseas?
Johanna lives overseas?
Someone is not paying attention in class. Late last year, she moved to the UK to work for the same British company that she was working for in NYC.
Cast Members should not get paid much more to be honest. They know what they are signing up for. They know the compensation fees are **** and they ONLY get paid decent if they win. Its a gamble. People get addicted and think that there chance is coming so they keep doing challenges hoping to win money. Do some do it for fame? Sure. But most people do it to get money. They arent forced to do the challenges. They do it to try and get paid. If they lose and get paid **** well they know what they got themselves into.

So there was no need for that "someones not paying attention in class" line.

It's a gag line... as old as vaudeville.
I'd just say that one should be aware of the down side to "winning." Sometimes when TJ announces the prizes, production has to get him to do it again, so the cast reaction on tape is more positive. ;)
L! O! L! Go figure..I mean can someone really be excited about the prize being Dr. Dre's headphones for the um-teenth time?? haha..I always wondered why they looked so excited..Once, Just once would I like to see someone do a "i dont really care" shrug..LOL..
Does that hourly rate factor in the time that they don't do anything sleep because if so I would love to be to sleep in a foreign country while on vaction for around 8 dollars an hour. If not they still get what they intially seeked out from the show in the first place the camera and an outlet to possibly show people who they are. For reals
