Glee

Did anybody watch the Pilot episode? I thought it was great. Could just be me though.

I very muched liked Glee. Wonder how well it'll do in the Fall.
It had 12.58 million viewers for the Pilot, so I hope it will continue to do well. I thought it was fun. And Jane Lynch is just hilarious.
I didn't watch. I have an aversion to musicals (although the commercials for the show were somewhat interesting.) There is definitely a lot of positive buzz.
I really enjoyed it! I am opposite of Bacchus, I wish real life was a musical. Not to mention, I was a theater/color guard dork in high school, so I enjoy seeing a show about that. I found it witty and a good mix of the students perspective and the teachers, it will probably appeal to a variety of ages because of this.
I did, and thought it was hilarious! Hope it does well in the fall.
This was a great show! Very funny! And there are some very talented people on this show. I loved their choices in songs!
Oh I loved it! We finally got around to watching last night, it's different than I thought it would be, but still good.
You must be my soul sister! I love that song lol. I wonder if that is Allison Becker really singing those parts (she's the hyper show-choir crazy girl...) I used to really enjoy watching her on Vh1's top 20 countdown every weekend, and she's been on a few silly commentary shows (I <3 the 80's, etc) so I was surprised to see her belting out.
THAT'S WHO SHE IS!! I couldn't place her. Journey, I think is one of my favorite bands of all time lol.

She is amazing, and very funny. Anything Journey would be great!!! Also the other choir that did Rehab, that was killer too. I cannot wait to see what they do next.

For your viewing pleasure here is a link to the Journey performance. The video is below a short article. I have to say I keep watching it!!! Who are the 2 main guy characters? The teacher, and the one he blackmailed, they are both hotties! GLEE journey performance EW.com
Wow...and they're actually singing? Beats any of my karaoke performances...

Because that actress' name is Lea Michele. But yes it is her singing, and she is amazing. And she made me LOL during the episode. Very Tracey Flisk from Election. She's in many Broadway shows, and in an ironic turn, her first one was Les Miserables, and the song she used in her audition during the episode was from Les Mis. Heh! Anyways, I loved this. A lot. I've been listening to their "Dont Stop Believing" nonstop since it ended. It helps that it is already one of my favorite songs and it puts a smile my face whenever I hear it. I ALWAYS have to sing that song.

OK, then where have I seen the other girl. Maybe it is just a crazy resemblence, wow she looks familiar
By the way, I freaking LOVE the cheerleading coach. She is hilarious.
I just watched this and I am totally in love! How can I not love a show that does a show choir version of Journey and has Jane Lynch as a crazy coach? Rachel/Lea Michele kind of reminds me of Idina Menzel of "Rent" and "Wicked" fame. Now I am sad that I have to wait until the fall to see more of the show...

That'd be awesome to me if this show became a platform for Broadway stars to make cameos. P.S Just read online that the Glee version of Don't Stop Believin' is the #2 download on iTunes, just behind Kris Allen!! Good for them.
Here is a link to a sneak peek of Kristin Chenoweth's appearance on Glee in the fall. Kristin Chenoweth on GLEE - Sneak Peek | Give Me My Remote

Thanks tatertots!!!
I still have yet to figure out how someone that small can have such a ginormous voice.

I kept telling my husband that...but he isn't a musical fan, so he really didn't get it. I freaking love her, and Taye Diggs. If I could meet any celebrity couple, it would be them.
They ran the pilot episode of this again last night. I am so freaking excited for this show to start, and after taking a look at the soundtrack for this season. I am thoroughly happy, they will be covering more great songs. I think we are in for a real treat.
A friend of mine was in the pilot for "Glee" - he played in "Don't Stop Believing". From what I hear though, he's only going to be in the pilot...
I thought the pilot was great! Looking forward to more..
