Exactly TJ. It really is quite interesting that nobody will pick her. I wonder why. And I am surprised that Dunbar chose MJ considering he was saying he needed to take out the big dogs.

It's like Diem can do no wrong. MJ is one of the big dogs...
True, but MJ is the lowest of the big dogs in my opinion. I would pick Evan, no offense, but he has shown that he can freak out in some instances. Diem has friends, but I still don't see why she is safe.

Me too TJ. Honestly, performance wise, she should go. Or at least be called out, it is like she doesn't have to prove herself to anybody.
If people find Paula annoying, I can see why they would find Diem annoying. They both seem to cling to stronger male competitors to make it further in the game, but the strategy appears to have worked a little bit better for Diem. She isn't an awful player, just an average one with a strong partner. I am surprised that some of the girls eliminated (Shauvon, Brooke, Paula, Kim) did not drag her into the Duel. She seems like she'd be much easier to take out than the other competitors, and if a girl's partner was also going into the Duel (like Brooke and Davis or Paula and Dunbar) at the same time, the possibility of being paired with someone who is stronger and has more social leverage also exists. Diem must be doing some major brownnosing behind the scenes or something!
She is VERY annoying when she throws fits like that. Why would anyone not pick her just because she fought cancer? I know that she has been through a lot and I really respect that she has battled her way through it but this is a game... People are gonna pick her sooner or later. But other than that I think she is ok.
Lets not bring that up, as I'm sure it has nothing to do with anything in this challenge.
They did complain, but you wouldn't expect to see major complaints during the episode would you? Look for some serious *****ing about BMP during the reunion show. The producer on occasion does have serious brass balls and would not be shy about including honest criticism in the reunion, especially if he agreed that his cast children were in danger. Scooter is a very decent guy.
Scooter <3
Sorry, I thought you were joking, but I misintepreted. My bad. I do find it amazing that BMP would hire less than professional safety personnel to ensure the safety of the contestants. I'm surprised that the contestants didn't complain more imo.
So in a moment of clarity this morning I realized that I completely confused you with another poster, hence my comment about being a statistician, that probably explains why you thought I was being sarcastic, so my apologies to you. I have to add my voice to the chorus of people that wonder why Diem seems to be held in such esteem. I haven't seen much from her and whenever someone has called her out, she's shown throwing a hissy fit. Maybe I'm missing something, but I haven't seen any evidence that she's an amazing competitor that should be avoided.
I knew Anessa was going to win, only because they showed her in the upcoming previews of the season.
I found Dunbar more likable this time around, not sure if it was the edit this time or in previous shows. I remember hearing other people mention him punching things on an episode (gee I can't even remember if it was this episode) but he seemed 'nicer' to people. Glad Paula is gone, as well.
As annoying as she is, I will miss Paula's drama queen antics. The show is going to be boring. Bring Kim back! I will never find Dunbar likable after the "instructional" video revelation on the after show. Actually Shauvon should have picked Diem. Maybe people really do like her. Judging from today's dallies, I guess she plays "the girl with the drunken-stupid antics" role? Maybe they feel sorry about the whole CT/Shauvon mess. But, yeah, I agree that she should have gone to the duel already. She has not contributed as much to the show as Kim and Paula have. Might get stoned for this but I think MJ should have just stayed home and get a real job instead of leaving his family for an extended time for a chance for some money.

I never understood her reasoning for choosing Aneesa and she paid the consequences. I think everyone sees Diem as their little sister and want to protect her. So they don't really go think about getting her out. To be fair to MJ he was a replacement and probably was asked to be in the initial cast and declined. I have liked him in this competition and he did a good job against Dunbar in the Duel. I enjoy it when he talks about his family back home and how he is trying to win the competition so that he can have a college fund set up for his daughter.
The focus on Dunbar this season seemed to be him & Paula or the drama between them but other than that he wasn't featured all that much in a personal standpoint. It was with him and Kim or him and Paula. He didn't get that bad an edit. And Paula did bring the drama and that is actually why her going home could be a bad thing. But I'm sure we'll see some "dramatic" moments later as the game is winding down now.
I also agree that some of them should call out Diem. That's the other person I think Paula should have called out based on performance. I thought Anessa was a decent choice compared to others like Rachel,Tori, and Jenn, but Diem probably would have been a better choice when thinking about the physical confrontational duels, since Anessa gets fierce in those. I do think a lot of people like Diem, but I have not particularly seen Diem close to a lot of the girls left except Tori, though perhaps she does have better relationships with the others than is shown. And I think she is beatable as well. People always mention that she is a runner so she can do endurance well, but that usually comes at the end of a challenge (running). She hasn't been amazing in missions except the luge one this time. I don't think she's really weak, but I think a lot of the girls could have a chance against her in a duel. I can understand the thinking that MJ (or whoever else who comes across as entitled to the money for this and that) should rely on a stable job for his family's future than this show. I don't know if he has a job or not, though. Sometimes a few of these people do some work outside challenges. But I can see how going for a six figure jackpot looks good for the future. It's a nice sum to have in the bank. It doesn't mean those who have families should be given the win or that they deserve it more, so the entitled thing is not cool and yes, if money is desperately needed, a stable job would be better (especially when you have a family). But I can't blame any of them for wanting to win the money. Plus they get a little appearance fee just for doing the show. Dunbar - didn't see his season, so I still hadn't seen the side of him that makes people think he is potentially a deranged violent person. That is, until I watched one of the earlier dailies a couple of days ago. It was with him and Davis and Paula (Challenge Dailies | Video | "End Me! End Me!" ). I don't know what started the drama between Dunbar and Davis, but Dunbar was extremely nasty to Davis, saying he would beat him up outside the challenge, that he didn't deserve to be breathing, and that he would love to end him (after Davis challenged him to end his life). And he was demanding Paula to not talk to Davis because he had an issue with him, telling her to have her allegiance to him.
I don't think I've ever seen an after show, I'm not sure what 'instructional video' that involved Dunbar. I need more info I guess.

Well of course that makes me wanna know even more.
End Me!!! hehe I did laugh just watching him not take Dunbar seriously.
Good riddance to both Paula and Dunbar. Their storyline was extremely annoying! I found it interesting that even though the challenge was individual the "partner system" still prevailed: Landon/Brittini win, Paula/Dunbar are left at the end and MJ/Aneesa get called out.

I wish they hadn't bothered with the partner system at all. If you are going to force people to rely on one another in what is supposed to be an individual challenge, at least do something to prevent them from choosing the same person every time. Although the editing usually gives it away within the first five minutes of an episode, you can still figure out who is going to end up going home because the order never changes.

They could have edited this a number of different ways, but this is the one -- like it or not -- they believe their prime audience wants to see. It made Dunbar look not so annoying, and made me appreciate even more that I won't have to see Paula for a looooong time.

I have tried so hard with him, I keep hearing some of the cast saying he is a good guy. I guess I just see him running his game from a mile away, the coy little looks he gives to women, when he is trying to be cute. The fact that I really liked his girlfriend, and she was a very nice person, does not help.

I was merely stating that the Paula vs Dunbar thing made me vomit a little less every time I saw Dunbar. We actually got to see a side of him that didn't suck, for once.

This is just my opinion, I don't think because a person has a family or some kind of situation "deserves" the money. The person who is doing well in missions, and in duel's to me "deserve" the money. I can't stand it when people say "The person deserves the money because they have bla bla bla going on in their lives." And then all of a sudden people think they are entitled to that money. I've seen it happen in too many recent challenges and it irks me. The people who are doing good in missions, and winning duel's, to me deserve the money. As for Aneesa, she know's how to put her game face on in eliminations, and I think people are not making wise decisions when picking her. Everytime someone gets left last, I'm always screaming "PICK DIEM".

While she may not appear physically "strong" like Rachel or Britt might - she kicks butt in duels. She may lack the stamina to last for final challenges, and she will hardly ever win a challenge for immunity (thus far on this season, I cannot fathom that happening) but she sure does put her game face on. She is bigger than the girls left, with the exception of Rachel, however, no one will pick her for a duel. Why Paula picked Aneesa keeps me wondering. Out of the five games in the duel, I think Paula probably had a shot of beating Aneesa in three of them -Spot On, Pole Dancing, and Elevator. Why not go for a Diem, someone similiar to Paula's stature where all five of the games she has a chance of winning. Whatever the reason, I am very happy Aneesa won to rid Paula of the three episodes left. I have a feeling I am not going to like the last two as Landon seems like he is going to get f'ed over.

She put up a good fight in the Duel. I'm just wondering why no one ever picks Diem. Its not like she's feared like Rachel and Tori so I'm just wondering whats up.
The Paula vs. Aneesa duel is my favorite so far this season. So sweet to see Paula go!
