It doesn't matter if Kenny's athletic or not, that obviously doesn't make him a strong player in these challenges. If it did then Brad, Dunbar, or Davis would've won one. Those guys are athletic also but they aren't strong competitors IMO. It takes a lot more to be considered one of the best and Kenny just isn't it. He sucks and it has nothing to do with him being a Fresh Meat. I love Ryan and Casey, i just don't like Evan and Kenny.
Well I don't think Kenny sucks as a competitor. If he sucked as a competitor he would not have won two challenges, and come in 2nd place on Fresh Meat.
He's obviously not as good as Megatron Landon, but that doesn't mean he sucks.
I truly hope that is you guys opinion, and not just because you don't like them.
Janel's right... Athleticism doesn't always make a strong player. And I'm not even talking about the mental aspect. Take someone like Derrick.. I consider him one of the best performers. He's not always been on top, but he has heart, and he puts himself in the challenges.
There are 4 girls left on the Challengers side (Sarah, Kim, KellyAnne, and Casey) and 5 girls on the Champion side (Johanna, Tonya, Ibis, Veronica, and Susie. This seems kinda odd no?
Challengers lost 4 guys (Chet, Nick, Adam, and Danny) and The Champs still have all of their male players. I wonder how many more eliminations there are?

I don't like him and I don't like CT either but I'm not gonna say he isn't one of the best because i would be lying.
So it has nothing to do with personality, the guy just isn't that good.
Insider, people will say what they want because they don't like the Fresh Meat Kids. No matter if your right or wrong, if you were Fresh Meat, you automatically "suck".
Well maybe if they didn't act like jerks and walk around with a sense of entitlement on these shows then maybe they would be liked a bit more.
Fresh Meat was a bad Idea.
Oh and for the record Kenny really isn't that good of an competitor.

About Kenny, I am strictly talking about his skills as a competitor. I never said he sucked. Just not at the top of the list. And I don't think Brad is at the top of the list. And yes, this is all my opinion putting aside what I think about his personality. I don't like him just as much as I don't like Evan, but I do think Evan is a standout performer.
Veronica, for example, has never been a favorite of mine. But, after rewatching older challenges, I was shocked and impressed at how many life savers/shields she won.
You mean the same lifesavers/lifeshields her team delicately delivered to her so they could throw in weaker players (ex. Katie, Tonya)?
I must say I just was thinking- maybe someone is semi-smart, if it is indeed Champs vs. Challengers. I mean this- if you want to win the final mission who do you want to face? A lot of guys would say the 'weaker' girls, as we have seen tooooooo many times in the past (and I hate hearing it every time). SO- if you can get the more athletic guys gone (Danny, Adam, Nick- only one left IMO is Brad) and the more athletic girls gone (Diem, possibly Brianna?) wouldn't you? However, I think they may be risking their best players on the hopes they will win- Wes, and Evelyn, who they have now lost...
Does this make any sense? If anyone is smart enough to orchestrate this, I have that bad feeling it will be the 'cutting the fat' time from the girls side... maybe explaining Katie's departure (as much as I adore her). Just speculation based on the departure list...
For everyone saying Kenny isn't that good of competitor,
He's not a standout competitor, but the way you guys are saying it, you make it sound like he's Tyrie or something.
That being said, I'm done with these threads. I don't feel like reading the same thing every day.
Oh, I forgot about Dunbar too, but he hasn't really proven himself athletically yet, IMO. I could almost wager on him being in the pit this time around... almost. I also want to say I consider Kim and Kellyanne strong, and we haven't seen Sarah, so the point could be moot... Just interesting to wonder where the eliminations are coming from. :D
Umm superchico you need to rewatch the challenges. There have only been 2 missions in which the team lost a mission, so they can give Veronica the lifeshield. On Inferno 2, she went in agaisnt Jodi, and showed how mentally calm and collective she is, Jodi just broke down inside. Seriously the majority of lifeshield she won, she has earned. In every final missions, you don't see her complain, or get tired. She does whatever is needed to win. A lot of people think she is weak, because of her height, and how she plays the game, but when it comes down to it. Some girls are afraid of her ( Julie, Coral not wanting to face Veronica in the Inferno).

I like Kenny (and I love Evan =)) but he is not the best by far. I would love to see him on a challenge without Johnny or Evan. Lets see how far he gets. On the Island, lets face it, he had 0 competition except Ev. I'm not b****ing Ev, but it's sad that she beat out many men on the Island. He snuck by on I3 IMO. He also owes Wes and Casey about $35,000 from fresh meat.
ooo and if my memory is correct, Veronica won the lifesaver 2 times on Gauntlet 1, when the team wanted to kick the girls out. Veronica also help the RR team win a mission.

She intimidates the hell out of people and does a very good job of it.

LOL its no use. People will always say she's not a good competitor even though she's won more challenges than any female. Its just like people saying Darrell is not a good competitor and he has never proved himself. Just ignore it, man. I seriously don't know what is going on around here.

I think He is AMAZING! He proved himself in the "not so physical" challenges such as G Or I. But In FM he killed it, that was more physical than the other 2. He is a great champ, and I would like to see him in a pit to shut some people up, who thinks he sucks

Darrell has pretty much been winning on every challenge he has been on and have to admit he has been getting it done. So we'll just have to see what his fate will be this season. And Veronica use to be the top female regardless of whether or not she was the toughest competitor. I think she can hold her own and it'd be nice to see her prove herself this challenge to show she still has it.
I find it funny that people are getting pissed off that there are others calling Kenny weak by saying that a weak competitor can't win 2 challenges. Um, Darrell has won 4. How can that be weak?

There are two parts to a challenge a social (mental) game, and a physical game. You don't need both to win if you exceed all the others in one area.
Kenny- Total Social
Darrell- A mix of both, but more physical

I hope your not referring to me because I was sticking up for Darrell and Kenny.
BIG difference between Darrell and Kenny. Darrell is a former gold glove champion and he is a great athlete. Kenny is a decent competitor and is more into the social aspect of the game. Plus he probably has Johanna and Casey looking out for him on the female side.
BTW it sucks to hear that Katie is gone! I love me some Katie I hope she gave V the business before she left LOL
No big loss with Danny, he never does good in these competitions anyway.
I hope that someone can break up the Johnny/Kenny/Evan/Johanna alliance. I am not looking forward to seeing these 4 take up my screen time when this airs!
I think people are missing that there has been some time that has passed since we last saw Darrell and Veronica. They both may have trained, even extensively, but we are not sure where their bodies and heads are at. They have made it pretty far for being out of the scene so long, but who knows the dynamics that are going on. We can better predict performance and actions that may come from people like Evan, Johnny, and Kenny who we have seen very recently. Frankly, out of the guys left, I think that based on the past alone, Cohutta, Dunbar, and Johnny would be at the bottom performance-wise, followed by Syrus and Kenny. However, Syrus is another person we don't know where his body and his mind is at, and could be a wild card. "Big Dog" players, IMO, would include Brad, Evan, Derrick, Darrell, and Wes. So no, I don't think that Kenny is at the bottom, I think he would fall somewhere in the middle within this cast- in the past however, I think this has worked for him.

Regardless, saying that Darrell is overrated is ridiculous. No one is saying that Darrell will be the top dog in this challenge, people are just saying he is overrated when he's won all four challenges he has been on. I feel like some of us are watching two different shows.

I don't think that Darrell is the top dog right now, based upon the social part of the game and him being removed from it for some time. However, he has a very good history of doing well in missions while also being that quiet guy that draws no targets- due to his personality and also I think due to the intimidation-factor. Who wants to go in against a guy who is 4-0? Not many. However, having seen people like Kenny, Evan, and Derrick more recently gives us a better idea of their conditioning... for all we know Darrell has been sitting on his butt eating Cheetos since FM, but I highly doubt it. His past is not overrated, IMO, however you can't always gauge current performance on that due to time.

Really Really Really Can everyone please stop with the "I hate the Johnny/Kenny/Evan alliance" thing everyone seems to have going? We don't even know the rules, teams or formats and somehow people already know FOR A FACT of an assumed alliance being the only thing they show on TV? Not only has it not even finished filming, but according to some peoples comments they think it's written into the three's contracts that only they can be shown on the screen.
It's very annoying to read every other post about how people hate that Johnny, Evan, and Kenny are dominating and ruining this game. We don't even know the title of the show yet!
Well Superchico, don't open the thread, and read the comments. We all have our personal opinions. I dislike JEK alliance. I'm going to repeat it again in the future. You haven't been keeping up with the spoilers, because the challenge is called "The Pit," and it's been said JEK alliance are running the show once again. Also FYI, some of us have insider information, that some of the vevmo members don't have, and probably won't know till the challenge is over, or airing on TV.

Producer88 where is it stated that JEK are running the show?
This is the glory of a message board, everyone has different opinions, if not for the difference in opinions what would people be talking about.
