I just don't see Veronica going home early on this one - she is a strong player and I'm sure enough of the real vets remember her from the earlier Gauntlet and Inferno challenges.

It really comes down to a combination of game design and social positioning. If you make assumptions on both that are favorable to Veronica then it is easy to project her doing well. Of course, grounding those two variables in reality would be as difficult as finding a virgin after midnight at Le Deux in Hollywood.

Don't think the circumstances will work too well in her favor this time around.

Oh V...you always know how to make me laugh!
Dave Mirra is quite sexy!
Also i hope that the rookies step up to the veterans, The Duel 2 is ******* me off with all the Veterans controlling the game.
(P)oor guy lol. I liked him on (B)rooklyn but I don't think these (competitions) are his thing. (W)ho knows maybe when TJ gets tired of hosting them maybe Chet can give it a go. (N)o, actually I can't see that happening.
Why does it say on her myspace that Tonya logged in on may 7. Does that mean she got sent home, or their is internet on the challenge?
Her account is being managed while she is away.

If you send a myspace message to Tonya, you will receive a reply from the Web Team at Vision 1 Media Group, my company, telling you that she is presently out of the country with no internet access.

I guess it's the same with Syrus', because his says he was logged on May 4. Do a lot of people do that when they're on a challenge?
I'm pretty sure Sara is next.
Why would you say that. Sara is a very strong gal and I think she's absolutely amazing. Just because Sara is incredibly sweet, caring, and down to earth dosen't mean she's weak.
I'm pretty sure Sara is next.
I was thinking the same thing, but we never know. Kim suprised us. If I had to pick a vet girl to go home first I would say Susie
Castmembers have family and friends check there myspace and facebook accounts while they're away. Just because "they logged in" doesn't really mean they (the actual castmember) logged in.
Honestly who knows who will go and in what order right this moment(well V1/Bacchus know)..the game always offers up surprises and I could see some people we expect out soon lasting a while.

It's not exactly the same, but close enough. I assume his GF is logging on.
Perhaps thoughtful people have returned to re-read some of the speculation and find it all rather pointless since the game has been underway long enough for the first four eliminations to have occurred.
Oops, I was a day ahead of myself when I posted this yesterday morning. Taking the time difference into account, the next eliminations should now have occurred. FYI, it is now 7:43 pm in Phuket.
I'm always going to ask when one doesn't tell us why one holds an opinion. Why do you think one of those two will go home first?
Brianna because im sure she is looked at as a rookie. Past challenges have proved that rookies don't do well, most of the time. Even though I would love to have her stick around, she's one of my favorite castmembers. Veronica based on what you said about Ev/Tonya having their eye on her. Plus she's been out of the loop a while.
Don't underestimate Veronica. I know some people like her and some people hate her, but she definitely has a way with people. She was also "reconnecting" with older castmembers before they flew out to Thailand.
I think she plays a dynamic game. Not only social but physical. I just rewatched The Guantlet and The Inferno and she won both lifeshields for the very last challenge. She also performed consistanly well during all the challenges. I guess we will just wait and see her fate.

I, for one, certainly don't underestimate Veronica, but I'm not aware of a "successful" outreach to other cast members. What can you share?
At least he gave Nick Brown some time to chill in New Zealand.
This isn't the Duel II thread....did you mean Thailand by chance?
:)
I really hope Johanna goes early because The Island made stop liking her because of saying she wanted to screw her way to the top.
I believe she said that in her little tiff with Robin happy clapping at her like a cheerleader, and Johanna was not serious.

She said that as a joke...
